The only info I can find searching is from 2022 but I did see something about Beretta picking the project up. Any news?
One of the cooler, micro compact guns, and probably the only .380/9x17 that isn't a nightmare to shoot drills with. It's a badass little gun. Don't see a lot of them anymore.
Had an incident in our neighborhood so looking into getting a real pistol, but need a temporary solution for home/self defense. I know this isn't the same but this is where I'm leaning.
-Pellet gun (not BB) -Pistol, as real looking as possible -.22 caliber -Semi-auto? (Not even sure what that means, but want the ability to shoot quickly) -Decent FPS/force -Under $300ish
Does anyone have any recommendations? Sorry if any of what I said isn't correct - this is quite literally my first gun experience. Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I was a FL resident before (attending college). While in FL I purchased few guns and now I live in GA (GA resident). I want to sell my gun in GA to GA residents. Do I need to go thru a FFL or can I just sell to any GA resident?? (assuming they met all the requirements)
I’m getting a pretty decent gun safe for basically half off. It is 350 pounds and maybe add another another 50 or so once it’s filled. I pulled the trigger on it so to speak and suppose to pick it up tomorrow.
Then I started thinking, that is a lot of weight in a small footprint ( has to be 20”x20”) for a second floor home. It is a raised ranch set up and the plan was it was going into a closet. The house is built with trusses and osb as a subfloor. There is carpet in the closet area now, pretty sure the trusses they span 24oc.
We really do not need anything robust. No chance of a break in or theft. Do you think it’s a good idea with the weight. We can’t put it on first floor and no garage or traditional basement .
Would you buy a different model if you had to do it over again, and why?
I'm considering getting an AK parts kit and building an AK (what else would you do with a parts kit) and I was wondering what I should know before I pull the metaphorical trigger. What should I look at to figure out if this is something I should do, what I need to build it, how to build it, and where to find the parts that a kit might be missing (most of the ones I can find online don't seem to be complete.)
I have a springfield mil spec stainless 1911. The bead blasted parts on the top of the slide have a tiny amount of what looks like the start of rust. Its very faint i cant even get a picture but in the light you can see it. I was wondering how to remove it without scratching the surface of it. Can i use something like barkeepers friend and a nylon brush or tooth brush? Ive tried wiping with a rag and CLP but it is still visable. How do i go about cleaning or removing the light rust without damaging the finish or scratching anything. Ive heard that brass and fine steel wool can still scratch it.
Hello friends, I am on the market for a spotting scope. Ideally something magnified enough to spot hits on paper out to 100m but light enough to take hunting. Any recommendations? Would like to keep the bill under 1k if possible
I need an red/green dot optic and I’m not looking for the baddest thing out there but I want something reliable. Name brand doesn’t matter either, just as long as it works like it should. Thanks!
I’m in the market for my first AR, what’s a good starter. I’ve been shooting most of my life and grew up an avid hunter and shooter, and I recently turned 18. I want something I can customize easily and use as a varmint/self defense rifle. Any suggestions?
Hey all, was looking to pick up an MPX K but they seem to be unavailable anywhere until sometime in 2025.
My LGS does have a Copperhead K (4.5” variant) and a B&T APC9K Pro. The Copperhead K is going for $2100 and the B&T is going for $2450. Those that have experience with both or either, which one should I go for?
I’m looking to add a PCC to my collection to not only be a range toy but for home defense as well. I intend to suppress either option.
I was leaning towards the MPX due to its AR controls but I feel that at current prices, B&T is the better option.
Would love some opinions.
What are some good resources for improving my skills with rifles? (
I am a handgun guy but am looking to better my skills with long guns. I have access to some excellent instructors locally but I am the kind of person who devours information and obsesses over training so I will be doing tons of self study and want to make sure I am getting good guidance.
What are some good resources that are available?
FYI I go to the range at least once a week and do dry fire practice daily, so I will definitely be putting in the hours necessary to train, but want to make sure I'm training effectively.
My process with handguns was to rely on developing my skills with iron sights and unmodified guns until I had become competent before I allowed myself to begin adding red dots and other improvements to make sure I wasn't just relying on crutches, and I plan to take the same approach with long guns.
I've had several long guns for quite some time but for various reasons I've never really trained with them until I decided that I needed to recently and was shocked by how much I sucked and how my handgun skills did not carry over nearly as much as I expected.
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks!
CCi Quiet Subsonic .22LR (710FPS) fired from a suppressed Chiappa Little Badger folding rifle. I was able to catch the round before the phone using an old phone book. The cell phone was completely drained of power prior to shooting. So there was no explosion or fire meaning minimal harm to our planet. What the cool thing you shot for fun/science?
Moral of the story: when your fingers are numb from snowmaking, don't show off your carry gun!
On November 17th at approximately 8:50 PM, an off-duty employee at the top of Silver Mountain suffered a non-life threatening injury from an accidental gun discharge.
Medical personnel were transported to the Mountain House via snow groomer, and the employee was transported down the mountain via the gondola and taken to emergency care.
Silver Mountain wishes to thank the efforts of the Shoshone County Fire District 2, Shoshone County Sherriff [sic] and Dispatch, and our Silver Mountain employees who assisted in the effort to quickly get our employee off the mountain and to medical care.
Out of respect for the privacy of the individual involved, no further details will be shared.

Hi, I'm looking to put a gun safe in my home office. My home is on a raised foundation so bolting it to the slab is not an option because their isn't one. Although it would be in a corner, it also cannot be too heavy for my floor. That said, what is a good option that is of good quality and good fire resistance? Liberty Safe is tempting but I don't like what they did at all.
