I have a 1942 Tula mosin 91/30 with about 50 rounds through the tube and In pristine condition, all parts matching, Serial is 7110, is it valuable?
Picked up a Izhmash 1942 m91/30. Wanted some first hand advice. The front sight has a decent side to side wobble , but is not loose enough to slip out without a decent push. Any effective ways to remove the wobble without anything drastic.
Hello, I have my eye on a svt-40 that recently came to my local collector shop. I want to know how much yall would pay for it in it's current condition.
Overall it's in really good shape and the action functions correctly. What would be a fair price to pay for one in this condition?
Does anyone know where I can find this screw for sale?
Looking at purchasing a sight pusher for my m44. I’m shooting a little high and left. Any recommendations on a sight pusher. Also, do you really just use needle nose pliers to adjust elevation? I’ve seen people say just use a brass punch and a hammer for windage but I was hoping to get something a little more precise. Thanks.
It's always fun to have range day at work. Got my colleague to shoot a Finn mosin for a first time.
Using sling support, I was able to achieve a very good group with the Tikka one. Shame I didn't take a photo. Range is 150m long.
Top is a Sako barrel M39 1941 Bottom is Tikka M30 1944
It's a russian M91/30 made in 1943. It's not pictured but also comes with a sling that I believe is original. Will have more and better pictures in a few days after the background check goes through and I bring her home!
What’s up fellas, got a pretty great condition m44 at my LGS for $850. Is this a good price, and are there things I should look out for?
Hello, both of these Finnish M91 rifles are at my local gunstore, both look very similar and the only real differences I can see are on the receivers. From this picture which should I buy? Does one look better/more valuable than the other? Thanks!
Ive heard that gun broker isnt a good source of prices so I thought i'd check here. Its definitely got some scratches and grooves in the wood but over pretty good looking
EDIT: Im going to grab it later today and will post some pics
Sako to be exact
Trying to get my 91/30 zeroed (iron sights) but I noticed i have a laser boresight for 30-06/270/25-06, would i be able to use this to boresight or should I just do it the old fashioned way?
So as the name implies I’m looking for any possible scope mounts that don’t require any permanent changes that will work for my M44. I know this probably isn’t the ideal weapon but I was just curious.
Only noticed when I went to put a sling on that my Finnish Mosin is missing the loop part. Based on my brief research, it appears to be the M27 "ski trooper" style. Pic is from igun.cz. Anyone know where to find this piece?
Hey folks, so this is my first Mosin. I know its an Izhevsk, and was made in 1943. But I am trying to decipher the two markings next to the Lot # 387.
Does anyone have any insight on their meaning? I read somewhere that the "Ч" indicates a training rifle. However I don't think thats the case here, as it does indeed fire. And theres some evidence of battle wear along the entirety of the rifle. As for the "Ж" I havn't a clue what that means.
