Treat all guns as if they are left-handed.
Never le(f)t the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your left finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
Be sure of your target and what is left of it.

I have some requirements. Bolt, 308, threaded, det mags. Maybe I am being picky.
here's a question for you guys, which do you prefer? manual safety vs non manual safety? and why?
what are the pro's and con's of a manual safety?
i have heard that the primary benifit of having a manual safety on your gun is so that you don't get "glock leg" and shoot yourself in the leg if a pen or a name tag falls in your holster after a fight, and it's also a safety feature when your wearing a horizontal shoulder holster and have the barrel of your gun sweeping everyone behind you
what do you guys think? it seems to be a pretty important and valuable safety feature to me and i don't know why more guns don't have a manual safety feature anymore.
what do you think?
So a lot of the people i talk to seem to have the HK45 only as a "home defense gun" and they don't ever really seem to take it out anywhere with them, so i wanted to ask, does anyone actually carry the thing out in the real world? concealed or open?
how does it sit? how does it ride? what holster do you use? is it too heavy?
to the people who have actually carried it out in the real world? how does it work? good? bad? what do you think?
HK45 vs the USP45? which is better? why do some people say that the USP45 is some how better then the hk45?
i honestly suspect the people who actually think the USP45 is better then the HK45 are just guys trying to justify the 1400 dollars they spent on ONE FUCKING HANDGUN THAT ISN'T AMBI
but that's me, what do you think?
Hello, quick question, does the HK45 tactical full size come with an ambi safety decocker naturally? out of the box? or is it something you need to put on the gun yourself?
thank you
Weird that KAK did like absolutely no launch/press for this, but still cool that they’re offering it: https://kakindustry.com/kak-ar15-left-hand-bcg-5-56-300-blackout-nitride/
I’m a Cryptic snob so I may not get one, but I do love that KAK is offering A5 buffers and tubes now. At like $15/ea for the buffers I couldn’t pass it up and just ordered two of them.
hello, since i am thinking about buying the HK45, i would like to know how easy is it to put an ambi safety/decocker on the HK45?
i have seen that some don't come out of the box with an ambi safety/decocker on the side, so i wanted to ask how easy it is to do it yourself and where i can buy the parts to do it,
thank you.
Hello, i am new to this subreddit, and i am interested and considering purchasing the full size HK45 tactical, the reasons being
1: it's chambered in 45
2: it has a hammer
3: it has a paddle mag release
4: it has a fully ambidextrous mag release
5: it has a manual safety
6: it has a ambidextrous safety
7: it has a decocker
8: it has (or can be modded to have) a fully ambidextrous decocker
9: it has a fully ambi slide release
10: it has a barrel that can accept a silencer
these are the reasons i am considering buying the HK45 full size tactical, however this gun is very expensive and i want to ask you what you think about it, and is it really worth the money?
thank you
Dug around a bit, couldn't find anything. Feel free to post findings you may have if any. Lookin for either full ambi or lefty.
California legal so it has a shitty fin grip
want a lefty 6.5 grendel bolt gun, does anybody besides Howa make a true mini action bolt gun, and more so does anyone make it in lefty? Howa only makes righty.
Lefty-ladies, what's your preferred handgun? Wife has smaller hands (only fits compacts well enough to reach all the controls), and I'm looking to get her first gun pretty soon, as I'll be deploying.
She doesn't care for .22, looking for something more in the .380/38 Special range. Tried my P320 in 9mm, recoil was a bit too much for her to manage when she did, hence the "compromise" calibers mentioned.
Took a look at the Southpaw revolver, and I'm tempted. Just prefer semi-auto, if that can be done, so if any of the gals here have a recommendation, I'd appreciate it.
There are quite a few nice guns for us who shoot the correct way on an auction ending soon on Proxibid. Came across it today and figured I would put it out there for some of the other lefties out there who struggle to find nicer guns or don't want to go full custom.

Hopefully this can help someone out, from what I have experienced, finding anything besides the cheap guns or very high end guns is difficult.
Would adding another loading gate on both sides of any top ejecting lever action compromize the structual integrity in any way? And is it even feasible?
Maybe I'm just dreaming the impossible dream here, but I'm calling upon the collective knowledge of the internet for my hopeless quest. I'm stuck out in California and the greatest danger out here is having your head bricked in during a riot because you're printing. To avoid this, clip draw seems like the maximum concealment option but I need a manual safety. If not on this gun then could anyone recommend another carry pistol? Thanks in advance!
Just pulled the trigger on a 457 Varmint(was considering a T1X, but could only find LH models in 17hmr) and was wondering what bases you guys are using. I like the CZ ones but looks like those are only RH; for the price the Area 419 seems like a better buy than the MPA(harder aluminum and includes level). EGW has a 3 week lead time for their bases so that's kind of a no-go. Anything else out there?
Was there ever a lefty bolt action made in 7.62x39?
I know of some 223/556 and 308 left handed boltys made by Savage and Ruger, and I know of right handed x39 models made by those companies and more, but I can't find any left handed.
I'm asking because I am looking for a hunting rifle.
I know 30-30 lever actions are popular in my region (NE US) for deer hunting, but I want something cheap to shoot that uses a detachable box mag.
Even with the war in Ukraine, steel 7.62x39 is still less than half the price of 30-30 with similar yet superior ballistics. Not to mention there are several good options for purpose made brass x39 for the season.
I'd probably be fine with a right handed version for both hunting and bench shooting, but I've been enjoying my savage 22 left handed so much I want to avoid going back to wrong handed for the bigger caliber.
I've been waiting literally years.
For the Bula defense M1A. Or will any mags work?
