I am 20 years old and turn 21 in November I was wondering if there is anyways where I am able to get a gun now and not have any trouble with the law
I just saw this on YouTube, these kids pull a pretty stupid prank which pissed the man in the pink shirt off, causing him to chase them around with a knife. It looks like a CCW holder steps in to hold him at gunpoint for a valid reason. However, at 11:45 you can see a clip of him in handcuffs getting arrested. Anyone know what he would be charged for?
Hello everyone, I am between the comfort concealment belt and Phlster Enigma for carrying under athletic shorts/joggers. Is there anything that the Enigma can do that the comfort concealment belt + holster wouldn't be able to do? For context, I'd be carrying a Bodyguard 2.0 and it'd mostly be for deep concealment situations or when I go to the gym. To me, it seems like I can just slap the CC belt on, attach the holster and do the same thing as the Enigma for a fraction of the price of the Enigma, but maybe the Enigma conceals better?
I've been using the Enigma for a few weeks now, and I mostly love it. A few things I'd like to change, but with the material it's made from, those changes are difficult. However, I've found workarounds for that.
First, a single sheet of .5mm carbon fiber. $15 on Amazon. Put some painters tape on the sheet and trace the shape of the Enigma faceplate and whatever cutouts you want to keep. If you've never worked with carbon fiber before, WEAR EYE, MOUTH/NOSE AND SKIN PROTECTION!! That shit can be painful if it get's in/on any of those. Next, take your Dremel and cutout your new faceplate. Sand it down using up to 250-ish grit sandpaper so it's nice and smooth with no sharp bits.
Pros: Now you have a faceplate that can be whatever shape you want, holes where you want, and nothing more. Cutting it won't delaminate the sheet, so you're good to go. And it's .5mm, so you save approximately 2mm in thickness. Also, one 200mmx300mm sheet of CF can produce 2 sets of faceplates. Win-win.
Cons: Even though it's .5mm and flexible, it's not as flexible as the OG Enigma faceplate. And it won't conform to your specific setup, either.
Next, get the Neomag Alias stuff. Using these, and your new CF faceplate, you can use pretty much any holster you want. And you can put the holster on your faceplate wherever you want, since the only holes and cutouts are the ones you want.
I've used this setup to mount my 2 favorite pistols: My PX4 Compact Carry and Subcompact, both of which finding holsters that work with the enigma has been...problematic.
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone who might be struggling with getting the Enigma exactly how you want it.
I have been using an alien gear shapshift holster for the last 2 years for appendix carry. I love everything about it, except the clip. It's extremely comfortable, but I wear thicker leather belts and have noticed that the clip doesn't like to stay put, especially after sitting. I looked online for clip alternatives but there doesn't seem to be alternatives for this line. Has anyone had this issue and found an resolution? Thanks.
I ran across a holster company several months ago that offered a shoulder holster with multiple magazine pouches, including a 5 magazine pouch, but I failed to save the link to the company's website.
Does anyone know the company, or company that offers something similar?
Hello, I’m an active duty military member stationed in NV. The situation is that the NV permit takes 4 months to process, but I just got an AZ one as it only takes 4 days to process. I’m a resident of a different state for tax and vehicle purposes. NV has a a law that if someone becomes a resident of NV, then they cannot use another state’s CCW and must use a NV one. My question is do I have to wait until my NV one comes in to concealed carry, or will the AZ one work? I’m getting conflicting answers from everyone I ask. Thanks everyone, I appreciate any insight you might have.
I’m in the hospital now me and three friends yesterday got shot by my friend’s cousin. I had my concealed in my truck, but I didn’t think we’d need it once we got to my friends house. His cousin was drunk and pissed off came into the room we were in And started shooting two bullets in me right now, but they haven’t removed yet. One of my friends died in my arms. I did CPR for 15 minutes before I realized I was shot in the arm twice.
Mods, please remove if not OK I just wanted to reiterate the importance of actually having it on you. Sorry if something doesn’t make sense Ive got a lot in my system and I can’t type right now. I’m using text to speech.
The guy could definitely have done more to drive out of the situation, but if you found yourself there would you shoot and would it be justified?
Most of my pants are Kuhl brand, that allow for a 1.75” belt.
I most often wear a Tier 1 OWB holster that comes with 1.75” belt clips. I see no reason to buy another holster any time soon.
My current EDC/CCW belt is a 1.5” Kore.
Is there any real benefit in moving to a 1.75” Kore garrison belt for EDC?

I went to the gun range to hold some handguns to determine what I want. Going into this, I wanted the pocket carry. Just able to put it in a holster in my pocket. The guy at the store was adamant that I should not bother doing this or at a minimum use a crossbody bag, or in waistband carry. I'm left handed so he saw that and suggested some of these guns which I held (not the keltec, I just want one) and all of these feel great.
What do you folks think about pocket carry and can I go wrong with any of these guns? What would you choose? I'm also interested into a Walther PPK because bond, but I haven't held one.
To anyone that uses the holosun scs, specifically the mp2, how is it holding up? I would imagine all the screws are the same material but I’ve read about some screws breaking. That could be user error but wanted to see what the experience was like here. I know sage dynamics spoke very highly of the optic and his testing is pretty grueling. Thanks in advance.
I'm running a Trijicon RCR mounted on a Forward Controls OPF-G on my 19.5 MOS. Interested in fully blacked-out front and rear irons as backup sights with minimal cowitness. I tried searching Trijicon's product catalog but it seems that all their suppressor-height irons have fibre optics, unless I'm missing something. Sorry if this is a loose fit, I tried posting on Glocks but my karma isn't high enough.
Been using it as my cc and it feels decent on my person. So much so that I don’t even need a holster for it, I can comfortably just tuck it in my waistband with a good belt on. Haven’t shot it enough to get a good feel on the gun. This thing worth keeping around?
