Okay so I just got a Glock 43x MOS
And I ordered this compensator for it off of tyrant CNC
I was just wondering if this is legal to have on my Glock
I need a threaded barrel to connect it obviously ….so that’s my question….is that legal in Connecticut?
Anybody done FL non resident? What is the process to get fingerprint done?
Are there any stores in the state which have like a bin of used magazines for sale? I’ve heard of them in other states and sometimes good deals can be found with them.
Does anyone have a conclusive reference for how CT law understands "overall length" for a rifle?
i.e. if the rifle has a collapsible stock, does overall length get measured in the collapsed or extended position? Similarly, if the rifle has a folding stock.
I am not looking for a Federal law data point; specifically CT state law. Context is the 30 inch overall length minimum to avoid classification as an assault weapon; specifically for a non-removable magazine rifle that can otherwise have a folding/collapsible stock.
2 months 1 day. Now we wait for them to mail it in 3-5 days. Cheers! 🍻
Basic question here,
I emailed SLFU.OOS@ct.gov for an out of state resident application and haven't received a response yet, granted it's only been two days.
Is that the right email address or am I supposed to physically mail in a request with the state police?
Thanks in advance.
Military moving into CT soon. From my research on here, I understand that military members are allowed to have "Assault Weapons" and "high capacity mags." Do we still have to register our AWs and magazines though? I didn't find anything exempting military from those requirements.
Thanks in advance. Look forward to coming to CT!
Is this real?!
Hi all, question from a friend in New York. Can I bring my lawfully owned and permitted pistol into CT to shoot at my friends range on his private property? Thanks!
I took my permit class last summer (July) and I’ve been out of state for college since. Just got back to CT and my brother says I’ll have to retake the class cuz it’s not valid anymore? Is this true and if so what is the period which you have to get permit after taking class so ik when I retake the class
I recently obtained my 60 day temporary pistol permit about a month and a half ago, due to some personal issues(nothing legal) I may not be able to get my full carry license until at the least about a month. Would I have still be able to obtain my full permit even though the temporary one may have expired? Thanks in advance for any help
Okay I’m not trying to steal a post but I’m trying to figure out how to build an ar pistol I bought a lower and pined a 10 round mag to it I want to run a 10.5 inch upper does anyone know on what laws to follow to make it compliant?
Would using mag limiters with super glue in regular 30 rd pmags satisfy CT's totally constitutional 10 rd magazine mandate?
Anyone know of any shops that sell aftermarket xmacro grips in ct? Shot in the dark but was trying to avoid having to order online
Hello all, looking to get my out of state CT ccw and was wondering if my former nra course that I took "Basics of pistol shooting" that I took Jan 6, 2023, which did include live fire, would satisfy the course requirement for the state.
I currently hold valid and current FL and RI ccw's if that's relevant info that you might need to know.
Thanks in advance.
Anybody know of any good semi auto shotguns? Any suggestions?
Is there a KBB equivalent for firearms or is it just a supply and demand situation?
Hey all happy Sunday! Hope your day has been awesome thus far. Any local gun shops that would maybe by chance carry a Laugo Alien? Gotta be some higher end shop out there, that has higher end pistols and rare ones. Thanks in advance!

When police scan your license in CT (for example, after being pulled over), does concealed carry permit come up in their system?
Thanks
