My P-01 is currently using stock internals. Took an advice from a user on reddit to use 20lbs or 22lbs recoil spring to reduce the snappiness. 22lbs recoil spring works flawlessly and I noticed it taking the bite off the recoil. (it's only 9mm, I know)

Now the Wolff Spring Kit came with firing pin springs but I did not install them. Didn't have any malfunctions with various ammo. My questions is: If I install a CGW Pro Package in my P-01, will I have any issues running the 22lbs recoil spring and the CGW firing pin spring? Or would you guys suggest installing the newer Wolff FPS?

That is, without the reach reduction kit. I've been going back and forth about when to install the RRK, but am curious if anyone's noticed a difference/endorses just swapping the trigger.

CGW is what I'm looking at for the rami or PCR, but am open to other options and everyone else's experiences also

I know there is already a plethora of video/written instruction on these installs, I’ve been watching plenty. Just wondering if anyone has a small tip/trick they found helpful. Disassembly went way easier than I expected, sear cage pin came out with barely any effort, probably has been disassembled before. I haven’t done the hammer/strut pins yet which people say is a bitch.

I like the direct mount shield cut and it feels good in my hand. If I take the decocker out and convert it to a SAO would it be worth it? I assume a TLR7A would fit? Thinking of making this a carry gun and using one of my current G19s that I use for EDC for a nightstand suppressor host.

I recently converted a shadow 2 OR to SAO. If the gun is on safe while hammer cocked, then I hold down the trigger and move safe to fire the hammer drops. Is this typical or do I need to make some kind of adjustment?

That was an unpleasant little surprise.. first for me.. stripping a screw, sure, usually the staked one inside, but snapping one like this? Damn.. 🤦🏻‍♂️ so glad I had another whole catch ready to go.. but now I’m not sure what to do about this one.. it feels likely ruined. 🙄 any advice?

I wanted the Shadow Compact really bad but the price was a bit out of my range. Picked up a P01 many months ago and did my best to upgrade it. I don’t carry this much anymore but man is it fun to shoot and so pretty to look at.

So I installed the cgw pro package on my p01 and put in the blue 13# spring. Gun has around 200 rounds through it. Occasionally I am getting light strikes on only double action, single action never has a problem. After a Light strike the round fired every time when I pulled the trigger again. Does the gun just need more break in time or should I get a 15 pound hammer trigger from cgw or is there alerting else I should look for. Thanks.

My metal mags are really chewing up the lip of my magwell. I’m wondering if there is anything I can use that wouldn’t technically be an external magwell to protect the lip that would be USPSA carry optics legal?

What are you guys thoughts about getting it done?

Anyone notice any wear on your frame where the over travel screw meets the frame after installing the CGW pro package? I watched the CGW trigger tuning video and I feel like I got it tuned right. Notice the wear in the photo after taking out to the range.
