I'm trying to sell a WW2 production No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield with a lot of extras on the side, but I haven't been able to sell it through my usual avenues (LGS, TGT, etc). Is there some sort of Texas-only message board specifically for military collectors interested in buying battle rifles? Because I'm stumped on where else I could try to sell this thing
I have noticed that TGT has been very slow, like 15-20 seconds between each click.
Also, I have been getting a lot of "500 Internal Server Error" messages.
Anyone else been seeing this?
When I was younger (17) I was put into a mental institution for a couple days involuntary due to a poor choice of words that I shouldn’t have said, around the time of Covid, it’s been a couple years now and I’m looking to buy a gun, but I’m unsure if it gets in the way or not, some places I read says I have to apply for an Appeal and others say I should be able to, I’ve been to the range and shit with my friends and such, I just don’t own my own, I just don’t really want to go apply somewhere and get rejected and have some problem with it come up
Got a junk car in Kyle and just need it gone. Take it for free. Don’t run so it would have to be towed. If you are close enough I might be able to pay for towing.
Is texascarrycourse a legit way to get my online course done?
If you are 18 years old can you legally carry a pistol? I know that you have to be 21 to buy a pistol but can you carry one if you are under that age?
Looking for knowledge. I am in DFW and looking for best option to sell a S&W 8" barrel .357 (local gun sales store, gunbroker, take to a gun show etc). Also, are there legal guardrails I need to be aware of?

I’ve got a Marlin 30-30 Glendale 30A I’d like to get threaded as well as a Model 60 in 22LR. Just moved to Arlington TX from out of state thanks.
I am looking at defense ammo currently for my Canik Mete MC9 and was wondering which ones yall recommend. I do have a few in mind but wanted to see if anyone has the mc9 which ones work best with it. Thanks in advance.
Friend has a deffered felony and successfully completed probation charge was non violent and she says happened more then 10 years ago. She is also scared to buy a gun because she thinks she might go to jail for trying. Can she legally buy a gun?
Bought the wrong ammo and realized when I got home. Not sure why I didn’t realize it was 7.62x51 and not 39. Well wife won’t let me get another gun so need to see where I can sell it.
I have been talking to some people about a reputable place to buy my first gun in San Antonio. I have a few people telling me to avoid Academy. Has anyone had issues with Academy before? I’ve been to a few shops already and the gun I currently want I’ve only found it at one place, but they had just sold it. I have found it at Academy, but some people are saying that they’ve had issues buying firearms in the past from academy and so they don’t buy there anymore. I just was trying to find some guidance on whether I should keep trying to look at shops or since I know they have it at academy. Just go and get it from there.
He ya'll i currently have my florida permit is there any benefits to acquiring the Tx ccw permit? Do yall have waiting periods? Anything I should know about ya'lls laws before the move? Looking to move to the Montgomery county area.
Hey guys I have a couple of these Ruger m77 compacts chambered in .260 https://www.rifleshootermag.com/editorial/featured_rifles_rs_rugermodel77_201004/83848 . Any ideas about what they go for used? I'm not really finding anything as a price. Thanks 🙏
Recently moved from Washington and absolutely LOVE IT HERE. FISHING, FOOTBALL AND FAMILY!!!
I’m a long haul truck driver and unfortunately have to leave my family for weeks at a time in some cases. With no family out here, I’m constantly worried about the safety of my wife and kids.
With a clean criminal record, I’m BEGGING my wife to get something (ANYTHING) to give me a little peace of mind while I’m on the road. Been on TGT for a couple weeks but some say it’s full of scammers or flakes. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL!! Make model? Caliber? Like I said, any suggestions help.
Just came across the smallest sign I almost missed it. I’m sure the letters are 1 inch long though .. per legal requirement
I'm sitting on a couple guns I'd like to move in order to attain 2-3 specific guns and I've been unable to move them as quickly as I'm used to. Usually this wouldn't be a big deal, TGT tends to come through eventually no matter what, but I swear this ALWAYS happens when I'm in the market for a new gun and trying to sell or trade old ones to afford it. Am I the only one this happens to, or do y'all have better luck than I do? I've had it happen maybe once or twice in my time as an owner where I've had at least a somewhat decent or fair trade for correct values on both sides, but much better luck with just selling and putting the cash towards the next item. I can't even begin about the ammo and accessories side though, like I've been storing the same fancy Mosin ammo, sling, and bayonet in a corner for months and can't be bothered to list it since everybody wants it bundled with a rifle. Just seems like maybe the market's dry right now or I'm not getting the correct pairs of eyes on my stuff, not sure if y'all relate
I moved to Austin not long ago. I have a DMV appointment a few weeks out, I was wondering if I could use my hunting license to buy a gun.
Hi all, I'll be in the DFW area for work for a few days. Is there any range renting firearms to solo people if not bringing your own ? I'm aware of why most ranges have that rule... it' just a PITA.
TIA
No I’m not here to change your state I love being here and am embracing the freedom especially when it comes to firearms. I’m also here for military reasons so work more or less. That being said I left a couple stripped lowers I bought in CA when I lived there and forgot to pack em and I would like to get em sent here now that I live in TX. Anyone had a similar issue like this before and would they have to be sent to an FFL? Brought all my other hardware already that’s fully built or just another gun for that matter. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Hey guys, just recently turned 21 about a month ago and moved to Houston Texas about a year ago from New York. As y’all know the gun laws in NY are beyond different from those here and i just need some help. Been thinking of getting a handgun for home self defense and just a little confused. Can i really just walk into a store and buy one since i’m 21? I assume they have to do the whole background check and stuff but in New York it was a long extensive process along with needing a license. Just curious and excited to hopefully own my first handgun, thanks guys!
so i have decided that owning a handgun would make me feel more safe alone in public. i have shot several guns before ranging from small handguns to large shotguns. my issue is that those were all my dads guns and i don't remember what each gun was for or what it was exactly.
i am looking for a medium weight gun that is reliable, doesn't have a ton of kickback and is more wallet friendly, this would be primarily used for self defense. i would be buying a holster to go with it so take that into consideration. TIA
EDIT to add: i am in the austin area but travel to the lubbock area occasionally
Any good brick-and-mortar stores that sell military surplus rifles/older firearms in the SATX/Austin area or their outskirts? I know online shopping for is likely a better option, but I enjoy going in person sometimes. Thanks!
Hey, I'm 19 and I've heard that I could get a concealed carry license even though im under 21. Does anybody know the steps I need to do to accomplish this?
I live in nc, I’ll be visiting Texas in February to see an old friend of mine. I know since I’m not a resident of Texas that I can’t purchase a firearm. But I’d like to do something for my buddy as a belated birthday gift. So if he went and got something and I just gave him my card then would that be legal? Or would I be considered the purchaser thus making the transaction illegal? I know cash is an option but if don’t have to go to the atm then I won’t lol.
