Thought I would give a video for all the Canadians who are interested in firearms out there.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qHiSuhotgM. THis is a good video the whole series is good in fat to watch and gives a Canadian perspective which is most often overlooked.

Mass shootings don't spur on gun control: after mass shootings, Republican-controlled state legislatures double the number of laws that *loosen* gun regulations. Mass shootings do not have any impact on the number of gun control bills that Democratic-controlled legislatures pass.

Mass shootings occur disproportionately in states with higher levels of gun ownership, while rates of firearms homicides are higher in states with permissive concealed carry policies.

Hard Science Research Papers?

It seems this might not be the right sub, but I'm interested in actual gun research rather than sociopolitical stuff. Do y'all have any compiled resources to share with the community?

Thanks y'all!

The Trace firearm effectiveness

There was a article in "The Trace" that basically said theirs no benefit to using a gun in self defense. I wanted to know if theirs something misleading about this because it doesn't sound right. And it said the injury rates are virtually the same for fleeing.
