With the current rebate and prices at the moment, the standard and TORO models will be essentially the same price. Is the added flexibility of an optics mount Worth one less magazine in the box, especially for a first-time owner? I've heard mixed reports on how an optic affects reliability from the added weight on the slide, so unsure in general...
I seem to be having issues with my rebate saying my UPC numbers and serial numbers are incorrect however I’m using the exact information PSA gave me with my receipt. Im hope its just me making some dumb mistake but i cant get it to go through
I’ve seen some other threads here and there but they’re mostly referencing the TX22 standard, so I thought I’d just ask more specifically.
I’m not seeing a ton of options online for holsters for the TX22C, so I was curious if anyone had experience with holsters that were made for another brand/model but still fit the dimensions of a TX22C? I saw one comment that suggested holsters made for a Glock 17, but nothing beyond that.
Thanks!
I've asked this question before in various places and gotten conflicting answers, so I figured I'd come here and get conflicting answers as well. I have a brand new Taurus GX4 that came with an 11 rd magazine (2, actually). Would I be able to use the 15 round magazine made for GX4s in this gun? I know it will take 10, 11, and 13.
just out the gouge grip on the g2. Let me see yours!
Can’t hit the range today so I’m dry firing with some snap caps. Smoothed out the trigger quite a bit already. Love that I can swap cylinders from .357 and shoot cheap 9mm at the range.. shes gunna get some use that’s for sure 🫡
They can hate on Taurus all they want.. I have these guys and a g3c and they’ve all been flawless 👌
So I maintained contact with CS, was specifically told the code was good until Oct. Haven't heard from them since July. Actually made the purchase in June and was a month before the mags were in stock to apply the rebate. Now we are have way through the month and I've not received the rebate items. The sole reason for the purchase was because of the rebate.
I just ordered a gx4 carry and was wondering if I can buy these alternate color mag followers and put them on the gx4 carry mags or not since they are Glock branded you can see the video if you don’t know what I’m talking about
Hey! Per the title, just got my G2C and am wondering about any upgrades I should invest in as a beginner. I've already ordered the Hogue grip.
Uploaded my first vlog of the Taurus g3 on my YouTube. My video skills are horrible, I have zero editing experience hahah, it’ll get better
Two main take away from my practice today;
clean the firing pin chamber well. My handloads have a hard primer and I had light strikes because of gunk in that channel.
if you’re shooting competition loads, but the Galloway uncaptured guide rod with a lower poundage recoil spring.
Ill post the mag in a minute, 1/1. Have not seen it anywhere on the net, kinda wanna gatekeep. #WisconsinMan
I just got a G3c on Thursday to add to my array of 9mm handguns which also includes a p365 and a Springfield Echelon (oh, there is also a Helwan Beretta copy in there too but it is a trash gun). I shot it for the first time today at my club. I posted earlier in the week about wanting a gun "in between" these two in size and sub-$300. Damn... I love this gun! It is the cheapest handgun that I have ever purchased, the ergonomics were great, and I shot it very well. I brought my 21yo daughter with me and it was her first time ever shooting a handgun and she also did great with it, shooting a bullseye with her second shot at 7 yds. My groupings were tight, even with some rapid fire. Anyway, at least for now this is my favorite.
I am looking for opinions on getting a poly. How long have you had it, how many rounds through it, how is it holding up? I had a stainless Judge Magnum but my son wanted it so I sold it to him. I am an olde guy, retired law enforcement. I am not overly recoil sensitive, shot lots of .357 and .44 mag back in the day. I am thinking the poly might be a good gun to make someone get off me up close and personal.
IK that both glock and taurus have the same firing mechanism and i heard the taurus g3 fires on its own when dropped, is this true, because i like the leave one in the chamber with the safety off both at home and when i leave the house with it, i dont want to be carrying some cheap gun that will fire on its own. And yes i know that it is impossible for a gun to fire by its self unless its a SIG or a Taurus pt24/7, but even the manual says the G3 will fire on its own if its dropped.
No words can’t explain how lucky I am to be able to hold this magnificent gun! I know it’s not a Glock but it shoots perfect! 500 rounds of the armscor 9mm ammos and not even 1 jammed! 🙌
Hello! So I had purchased the tx22 compact 6mo ago and loved it so much I had to get the full size one, with the new “enhanced look” and 22rd mag. I first shot it a couple weeks ago, and it seemed like the groupings were a little looser then the compact. I figured it was getting use to the new grip and didn’t think much of it.
Today, my father-in-law and I went shooting, putting probably 300-400rds through it. It seemed like the groupings were changing, but still in a 3” grouping at 10ish yrds on paper. It started out just left of center, then shifted low, then right. And it was shifting the same for both of us, with an okay grouping, but like moving around the target. Which makes me think it’s either a gun issue or a ammo issue. I was running all types of ammo from bulk Remington, CCI, Winchester, etc.
Anyone have experiences with this?? I’ve heard some of the TX22’s had bad barrels in some batches, and Taurus seems to do an awesome job with replacing them under warranty from what I hear!
I found a HUGE forcing cone issue on my first cleaning. The lower half is not tapered; it looks like they went straight in with an end mill. It took a lot of discussion with Taurus support to get them to look at it. They turned it around pretty quickly after firing 20 rounds through it, writing a ticket claiming that they "adjusted" the forcing cone, and added a new scratch. They couldn't even be bothered to put the pistol back into its plastic bag before shipping it back. I'm looking at gun forums to, hopefully, get an opinion from a gunsmith. So far, local smiths I've contacted won't touch Taurus guns.
Got a gx4 carry. Quick question for yall. Ive seen red dots on this model but im not sure what theyre using. Anyone have any information on any red dots that will work or if i can attach one at all?
