Will the gen 1 holsters for the tx-22 toro,fit the gen 2?

I know people do that t for the old TX22. Also how big is the grip? Similar to Glock 19 or 48?is the backstrap changeable? Thanks a lot

Got a TX22 over the weekend put about 300 or so rounds of thunderbolt into it and a couple of CCI stingers. Ran the cheap thunderbolt 100% the Stingers I had FTE issues.

Got home and my bore snake and my nylon brush wouldn't even go through the barrel. It is a absolutely trashed. The rifling is gone near the end and it's totally chewed up. I'm at a loss.

Gun was new. Thinking the barrel is defective. Anyone else go through this recently with the compacts.

It's going back to Taurus.

Is the Sig P365 barrel interchangeable with the Taurus Gx4 barrel? They’re extremely similar in dimensions I only ask because of the recent Radian Afterburner Ramjet release. I would really love to put that on the GX4 but have no idea if it would work. At first glance the barrels don’t seem to have much of a difference. Anyone know? Sorry if this is a stupid question

Came up with a cheap mag holster for TX22 magazines. I'm assembling a get home pack and figured I'd put my TX22 in there because it's light, reliable, inexpensive, and I can carry a lot of extra ammo. I wanted to see if TX22 double stack mags will fit in a 9mm single stack holster and it works. I had to set the adjustment screw quite a ways in, but it holds the mag securely and there is zero play. Best of all, I got two of them for $9 shipped to my door.

Hey all. Recently, my TX22 compact has had issues resetting the trigger when my SilencerCo Switchback 2.0 is attached. Shooting Aguila 38gr and 40gr high velocity ammo. After a shot, the slide blows back enough to eject and load the next round, but just not far enough to reset the trigger. Gun shoots 100% with no suppressor attached otherwise. Any ideas on how to fix?

I’m looking to pick up a cheap and reliable 22pistol to learn and practice gun handling/safety in addition to having fun at the range. This has lead me to the tx22.

I know the new gen2 is out with certain upgrades and such but staying with the “cheap and reliable” theme, I’m considering one of the now even cheaper 1st gens and prob in a weird color like cyan since it seems you can grab one for ~$200.

I’m not planning to put any red dot or anything on it at this point, want to learn how to use and be comfortable with irons and keep it simple (cheap!).

Before going for it, wanted to get some opinions on if this is a good route or should I “future proof” myself with a toro version from the start or any other suggestions.

In search for RMR Plate recommendations for the TX22 TORO Gen 2. I know it has the holosun footprint, but I wanted to try out my Gideon Omega with it. Any recs?

I was taking a look at my Gen 2 TX22 to get pictures of the barrel, it has chattered rifling and I plan on calling Taurus tomorrow to remedy the issue wasn't sure if they'd request pictures so I took them just to have them on hand (hoping to just have them send me a barrel rather than send in the whole gun). While doing so I noticed that the gap between the slide and frame on my gun increases as you go from the back of the gun to the muzzle end. After looking at some pictures of other Gen 2 TX22's to compare I determined that it's normal, but l'm not sure it's normal to be able to push the muzzle end of the slide into the frame. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask so if it's a problem I can send the gun in just once.

Finally decided to make the purchase after doing a lot of searches and asking many questions on everyone’s take on the G3c. Wanted some pointers on how to get this guy up and ready for the range in a couple of days. Feel it’s ready to go for the 1k round testing. Needed some recommendations on which ammo to go for also which attachments anyone uses that works for them.

I'm having a hell of a time finding a smooth fitting light for my G3X. No one has one specifically for this gun that I can find. I'd be grateful for any recommendations
