This thing wont budge. so bad that the charging handle strips metal. any advice
Trying to make this even better. Optic is being debated on either going back to prism with piggyback or removing riser with magnifer of going unity FTC with magnifer.
Thanks for yall advice about the trigger screw. Turns out it was the trigger pack. The sear is kind of sticky. Took the rifle all apart expecting the adjustment screw to be out of whack but I had red lock right when I installed the trigger. Any way all the parts that would fit went into the sonic cleaner with some LA Awesome and water. It was time for a cleaning any way it is pretty much exclusively suppressed. I started messing with the trigger pack and the hammer would not release manually. I have a new spare one and put it in and it worked as it should. I put the broken pack back into the sonic cleaner one more time and sprayed some break cleaner to make sure there was not more carbon. The hammer falls now some times. But you can see it jump on the sear if it doesn’t drop and you push the hammer back a little the sear moves on its reset spring then it will let go. Kinda disappointing that that is the weak link on what I thought was a bullet proof gun. It has around 3k rounds on it total if I had to guess. Luckily I had bought a spare peck when I saw they were in stock. Thanks for y’all help and suggestions though!
Basically buy a spare trigger pack.
I have had a 556 SAR for almost a decade, maybe longer. Love it. Since the Geissele Super Sabra/Lightning Bow trigger upgrades it was changed from an interesting looking safe queen to my go-to. Screw you, AR fans! Anyway, blah blah blah. Love it.
One thing I've noticed over the years is that the piston collects lead residue or something. Maybe 10k rounds total through it at this point, no real clue but that's probably in the ball park. I shoot a bunch of everything, but mostly my reloads, 55gr and 62gr (H335, CFE223 powders, reasonable velocities, 2800-2900ish). After awhile there's, what looks to me, like lead residue on it. It's on there good but cleans up with some lead cleanup goo and a brass wire brush. Still, what's this doing to the other plumbing in the rifle? Should I even care, or messing around will only cause issues (i.e. plugging an important hole, etc). I haven't had any feeding extraction issues but thought I'd ask about it. Thanks!
For my new x95, I can’t decide between the 2, so looking for opinions.
Usage : anything from 50 yards to 200 yards, mostly plinking. Budget : no budget to add red dot on 12 oclock on the 5x Lvpo : don’t know if this an alternative maybe
Anyone had both and can share experience?
Thanks
Here's mine...
Another one of my prototypes that is a close copy of the original...
For anyone looking for a side mounted weapon light. I purchased a 7 slot picatinny rail with a quick disconnect for my sling and attacked an Inforcer WMLx gen 3 light. Works perfectly, looks awesome and has momentary, strobe and toggle settings. You can't go wrong!

Was bragging about how great my tavor is with family today out shooting and and I have a dead trigger. Rifle is about 2 years old with around 2500-3000 rounds on it. Only has the lightning trigger bow with out the pack. Trigger is dead and won’t let the hammer go. Has had that trigger on for quite a while. Maybe 1k rounds on it .not sure if others have had any problems with that upgrade, but that’s one of the reasons I’m usually hesitant to do any modifications if there’s a chance it will decrease reliability. Time to take it apart and see what happened I guess. Anyone have issues with the gieslee lightning bow?
18" X95, modifications as follows:
i'm left handed and got myself in a pickle because the shells hit my face and i cant find this part anywhere
I have to hunch over with to get comfortable aim at the target. Does anyone running this with riser on? Which mfg and height yall recommend?
Not sure if this is how I am supposed to reach you, but I am looking to buy a plain black charging handle slot dust cover for the X95.
How big of a problem is this crack? I just noticed it after shooting. I might have accidentally over torque it.
Hi,
I am just here looking for help to locate the Canadian version of the TAR-21 sling swivel (see picture).
Anyone have a spare?
I recently put out a review on it, and I think it's totally worth it. And for only $40.
However, I want to hear from everyone else on it. Good? Bad? Just meh?
I knew I should've got the SBR version. Almost fits in the saddlebag.
Just got a good deal on a SAR i know they are discontinued but does IWI make replacement parts or is there something i should stock up on?
IWI Ts12 Manticore booty Magpul MBUS Pro Carlson rifled choke Streamlight RM2 (although I'd rather a TLR1). Talon Grips "Pro" all over Meprolight RDS Pro v2 Esstac shell card w/ random 3m loop straps. Amazon cheek pad cut to fit for the left handed ejection port.
I was shooting my brand new Tavor 7 today and put it into single shot for shits and giggles however the charging handle was sheared off by my trying to pull it back. Does anyone know if the warranty would cover this or do I need to find one on sale somewhere?
