Right before installing my new Super Sabra, I noticed that spring that doesn't seem like it's in the right place. Is this an easy fix? I see "DO NOT DISASSEMBLE" on the trigger pack itself so I am wary of opening it up and tinkering
I know they’ve had one for the X95 for a few years which included a gasket to make it functional. The one Sven announced for the T7 yesterday doesn’t look like it comes with a gasket. So, what’s the point? Other than making it a pain in the ass to switch ejection sides, where previously, you could do it without tools.
My x95 malfunctioned yesterday at the range (not even a click when pulling the trigger), and took it apart today to find these pieces of a spring wedged where I marked. Put it back together and everything seems to function normally (dry at least) - but this has to go somewhere, right?
I know that Hux cans are the only cans recommended for the X95. Does anyone know if the new PTR Vent cans have low enough back pressure to be used on the x95?
Just got an X95, 1. Is there any way to reset the trigger without dry firing? Doesn’t seem to behave like other AR platforms. 2. Any attachments recommended?
So I went and put a couple hundred rounds through my new Tavor Sar. Upon disassembly I found what looks like brass shavings inside the bolt under the extractor. Is this normal?
I received the Tavor 7 last year during Christmas as a gift and I quickly fell in love with it. It has become my "shit hits the fan" rifle. Over 1k rounds through it and not a single malfunction (except for that time I didn't put the gas cylinder back on correctly its it shot off into the grass and I spent 30 minutes trying to find the peice, but that was a malfunction with my brain not the gun). The ambidextrous conversion is a wonderful feature.
Hello, I have been trying to figure this out for some time and I just can't decide between these optics. All have good and bad to them and at varying price points. Overall, what are you guys running and why did you choose what you chose. If you have a seperate optic than what I have here thats fine but keep it at red dot/holographic sight choice. Thank you!
Finally got the barrel chopped to finish this one.
I owned a X95 with all of the fixings a few years ago and ended up selling it. It’s one of the few guns I’ve ever really missed so I found a good deal on one yesterday and am back in action. It’ll be interesting comparing this completely stock one vs my old modified one and see how “worth it” the modifications were.
My manticore arms charging handle just broke today while shooting. Mid mag I see something fly off from the left and was like wtf, to find my handle had broke. Looks like the pin or what ever held it got ejected
Looking to buy my first x95 tavor. I'm wondering if the quality control has gone down in recent times given the situation in the middle east. Are current tavors still made with the same quality compared to before the whole conflict started?
I'm also in Canada, I've heard before that Canadian tavors are directly imported from Israel whereas American ones are made in the US. Is this true?
Recently put the full size Vortex on the top and took it to work at the open range.
Took bi pod off to thrown on hera grip , just waiting for my rail ..but not sure how I feel about it yet
I've looked on google and I can't seem to find a video or how to remove and replace a barrel pivot lock. I've found one that shows it but it's already out of the gun and I'm not sure the proper removal. Mine is jammed and it's been at a Gunsmith for over a month now and I keep getting the excuse that they are in their busy season and need to get through the hunting rifles despite mine being in before them due to the fact mine will take longer. So I'm trying to find a way to just do it myself. I have enough experience to do it, but I can't seem to find the process if it's a simple hammering a pin out and it comes out or if it's more extensive than that.
Edit: Disclaimer yes everything for the removal was done prior, the charging handle, bolt etc was all out of the rifle. So essentially what I was trying to do was switch the charging handle side to the right. I had already done a trigger install without issue and the pivot lock moved no problem. Once I tried to open the pivot lock to switch the charging handle side it would not budge and then my Tavor tool broke. I then tried multiple different things to try to get the pivot lock to turn and it won't. It's stuck at about just a bit beyond the locked position. I want to say maybe a couple centimeters towards open and it won't go any further despite anything I try to put in there to move it. So my question is is how do I pop that thing out so I can replace it since it's obviously broken or something has gone wrong.
Hey everyone, I’ve got a Tavor SAR I want to convert to the IDF model. Anyone have any tips or links as to how I would do this? I’ve done some googling but haven’t found anything. Thanks,

Have yall experienced issues with a QD on Tavors? Is it recommended to go direct connect? And does the suppressor tighten while shooting making it a B to take off?
