This is the most recent I can find, and says "The plaintiffs have until Oct. 15 to show cause, at which point the defendants will be able to respond until Oct. 29.":
Also, vote NO on prop KK!
If you actually can’t vote for a presidential candidate (which is dumb, sorry) at least vote on local politicians and propositions/issues.
I have my eye on some handguns but several of them come with 15+ round mags which we cannot get here. Could I ship a purchase to a WY FFL to get the full capacity mags?
Currently living in Texas and I’ve amassed quite the collection. I’ve got a bunch of 30 round mags for Glocks and ARs. I really miss Denver and Colorado as a whole and planned to move back in a couple years, but considering the existing laws and recently passed ones, I’m seriously reconsidering moving back. Am I crazy?
Obviously, voting No, but I didn’t see anything specifically mentioning suppressors in the proposition language.
They probably fall into this:
“Certain firearm parts, components, and accessories, and parts that may be used to construct a firearm;”
Also, if passed, does it go into effect right away or Jan 1 2025?
In a few months, I will be leaving Colorado and moving back east to NJ, a less-free state with respect to firearms. I need some compliance work done on one of my rifles - basically just pinning the adjustable stock in place. I do not have the tools to do it myself. Any recs for a shop in Northern CO (Boulder/Longmont/Broomfield/Loveland/etc) who do this 4.5-min of work and not charge a ridiculous amount of money?
I just noticed the Harris Park range has been taken off the CPW shooting range finder. Looked it up on google and saw it’s listed as temporarily closed. I know we got some snow last weekend but I doubt it was enough to shut even that road down. Anyone know what’s going on?
I recently bought an aero epc lower and I want to built a suppressed 7” barrel 9mm carbine for home defense. What makes this a legal vs illegal build ?
I’ve seen a lot of information surrounding the AWB laws in cities like Denver and Boulder, but I can’t get a definitive answer as to what is legal and what is not. Are there penalties associated with purchasing/possessing an AR or standard-cap mags? I’m asking because it’s likely that my family is moving to Broomfield in the coming months for my father’s job.
Just curious... Considering a suppressor, for which an NFA trust is required. Would there be any sense in adding ALL my non_NFA tools to the same trust for potential future transfer, hopefully painless, to my adult sons or spouse? In my mid sixties.. thinking this could avert future stupid CO laws that I can't anticipate. But also cognisant/concerned that I really don't want AFT knowing everything...
Got orders to fort carson and I understand gun laws in Colorado are different from most states, anything I need to know before I come out there, thanks
I know it was shut down a few weeks ago and KRDO reported that it was open again. Seems like people on FB are saying it's still closed, is this due to the fire ban right now or because of that fire a few weeks ago?
Went to summit today, any place I can shoot 200-500 yards within two hours of Denver?
This is my first time posting in this sub, but my rifle, which I am taking deer hunting for the first time, has two QD sling mounts, one at the front and one on the front left side. It is a bolt-action rifle. These are not the usual mounts that I know of, so I am having some trouble finding a good sling that I can use to hike comfortably with the gun. I came here hoping some of the knowledgeable people of this state could help me with some good suggestions. I thank you all in advance.
Sorry for any formatting/mistakes, English is not my first language.
Not a troll post. Emails from escalante suck worse than hearing that killed bills will be brought back next session. Haven’t seen any good done from RMGO yet they claim to be doing so much.
Someone set me straight if I’m off.
Any opinion on which judges to retain? @rmgocolorado

Pleasantly surprised at the short turnaround time based on many previous posts. I know other counties have shorter renewal periods but I am still happy with 30 days start to finish.
Lots of things I don't like about Denver gun rules but this is not one of them.
