Has anyone swapped their magazine plates for aluminum or Brass plates? Was there a marked improvement in recoil mitigation? Did it add an excessive amount of weight? Which is preferred over the other and why? If it's just an aesthetic thing, I think I will pass.
Upgrading my spring and guide rod. I came across ZR Tactical in a lot of forums. I am stuck between these two.

I have the PDP Compact 4 inch. I am going with a 15 pound spring. This will be a range/CCW piece. Which is more efficient and what is the difference. Thanks for the help and expertise.
Looking to upgrade the barrel on my PDP Match SF. Any suggestions? Thank you!
I have to say this pistol has genuinely ruined any other firearm for me the ergonomics and trigger have been amazing to me for a stock pistol. Glad to have joined the group.
all you pdp guys who live in europe I am looking for a holster like a tenicor velo 5 what aiwb holster do you recommend for pdp 4c? I have sharky from rh holster but it is not good for aiwb carry, for 3-4 position is good. tenicor velo 5 looks to be the best choice but it is not available in europe (tenicor does not ship international)
I've heard a steel frame 45acp is in the works. Anyone heard anything?
Picked this up last month and still can’t believe I slept on these for so long.
Not bad! I’ve been shooting M&Ps, Glocks, and P320s for quite a few years now. This is my first Walther and I’m very happy after the first rounds. It was the display model at the local store and I managed to get 15% off which was pretty great.
At some point I’ll either find a non-threaded barrel or go the other direction and put a comp on it. I’m excited to try it out at the local PCSL matches next spring/summer.
Any other left-handed folks in this sub? I’d love to hear what competition holsters you’re using. I started with Dara and it seems pretty good I just don’t love the belt hanger for it.
Like the title states, my local FFL sat on it for 2 weeks but finally picked it up today. Hopefully installing a DPT tomorrow
Got Em’ Walther PDP Pro X PMM Compact 4.6. The grip is just right! I thought it would be too small. Holosun EPS on the way!
Hey, y’all. I noticed there is still barely any information regarding the PDP Pro-E model. Seemed no one really knew whether the new polymer shoe trigger is here to stay or is upgradable.
After talking to a Walther gunsmith, it’s confirmed on Walther’s side that the PDP Pro-E allows for the aluminum DPT system to be swapped in at any time.
I know this info only applies to a small handful of people; still worth knowing! For those with a Pro-SD, this hardly matters. For those who want a twenty round beast version of the base PDP model that can effectively be upgraded to an SD if desired, we rejoice.
PDP looks sick in FDE!

For those of you with PDPs in a 6xxx Safariland: does a SRO fit? Or does the overhang bottom out in the pocket before the gun can lock into the ALS? Also, fitment on the acro?
Is there an OEM magwell floating around? Can’t find any on Walther’s website. Extended mag plates too.
My PDP steel frame 5 inch slide to frame fit has wiggle like a Glock or sig p320. Owners of the PDP SF is that your experience?
North Sea Machine Hybrid Porting with MC Black and a black nitride barrel.
—————
Most people will immediately recognize me previously as one of the founding owners of another business (Patriot CNC). In reality, I founded North Sea Machine LLC first in 2020, with slide work and barrel porting as the primary focus. A career machinist in other industries, I wanted to focus my expertise on premium slide and barrel focused services. After a short 1.5 year break building the other business, I have returned to focusing on slide and barrel services. My goal is to provide and maintain aggressive lead times while maintaining the quality of application that I am known for. Providing a great Customer experience is my priority. My flagship product is definitely the Hybrid Porting System that I designed 3 years ago and started offering 2 years ago.

Pretty much what the title says any good ideas for a lockbox that’ll fit my walther for a car? Me and my wife are going on a multi state road trip and we’re gonna be at a concert for one of them and I don’t wanna leave the guns in the hotel. I’d rather not keep them in the car, but knowing that they’re in a lock box tethered to a seat for less than four hours Makes me feel better than all day or possibly more in the hotel and then I can bring it with me until we get to the parking lot.
I'm a big fan of da/sa and hammers. Walther put out the pd380. Why not something similar in 9mm? I understand it would be a bit larger and heavier but could still good for concealed carry
For anyone trying to decide on a small compact for carry, I'm throwing out my two cents, if anyone cares. I purchased a Walther pps m2 over the summer for the Mrs. I did my due diligence with research in the forums, you tube, and websites. I purchased the gun without ever handling it. I'm glad I did. I liked it enough I bought another for myself. Today I had the chance to shoot a Glock 43 and a Hellcat. I confirmed that I made the right choice. The Glock wasn't bad to shoot, just really snappy and more difficult to get back on target. The Hellcat is aptly named. After one magazine, I had no desire to shoot it again. I will happily deal with the low capacity of the Walther because of it's shootabilty and the extending striker indicator. That is all

where can you buy a decent priced supressor?
Looking to upgrade the guide rod in the Pro-X. Looking at ZRTs website it’s states that the steel and Brass rods may not fit non ZRT compensators.
Was wondering if anyone knew if either of those would fit with the PMM comps or if I needed to go with their captured guide rod.
Thanks!
Approximately two weeks ago, I ordered a PDP Professional ACRO through the IOP with Walther. Does anyone have any recent experience on how long the lead time is before shipping? The disclaimer on the webpage said it could be over to 3 months for firearms and 6 months for magazines.
I've had stable macular degeneration for over a decade but recently y right and dominant eye had developed geographic atrophy which is causing my eyesight to diminish and will eventually make using that eye impossible. It's my right eye and I'm severely right handed.
So I just got a new Walther and put the SCS-PDP green dot on it and tried different sighting methods.
I'm hitting the bull at 15 yards and still need to continue to move back until I get to 25 and keep tweaking the sight but all seems to be well.
What is interesting to me is that while I was shooting I've closed my left eye and I don't even see the sight with my right, it's just looking straight ahead to the right of the gun. When I close the right, I'm pretty much lined up with the sight so my brain is subconsciously lining up everything to my good, left eye.
