Hey everyone. Hoping someone can shed some light on parts compatibility for the ZF-5T (wanted direct thread). Im very new to the platform and I'm having a lot of difficulty understanding what works with which clone.

For sale is a new and unused reproduction of the unobtainium KAC (Knight's Armament Company)  HK MP5 RAS Picatinny Rail Mount for use with the famed MP5 and KAC RAS rail system.  These were temporally produced in very small volumes until Knight's forced a C&D order onto the manufacturer. There was no IP existing based on the timing of the product, but the expense of legal fees kept the project from moving to a full scale commercialization of the mount, which was unfortunate. I have both KAC and 78M mounts, multiple MP5s and they both are indistinguishable from one another.  This sample was never installed and will be your path to building an "old school", period correct, MP5 with an optic such as an Aimpoint Comp M2. The hardware for installation to your RAS is obviously included.

Just looks right, need to figure out the SBR thing. A2 stock has always been the best fit and look to me. Would look great on the ZF any of you went that route? Trust vs Single User etc?

Used the straight mag I got today and built the mp5k from black ops 1 , I kinda like it I think ima keep this one this way

Cross post from MTS: my wife told me it’s the Christmas season now as I was pulling down 2 giant skeletons in the front yard this morning…. SO, I bring you a project I’ve putting together. I’ve always wanted the iconic weapons from Die Hard, but decided to put a twist on it: what if it were filmed in 2024 and what if they were a k version? I’m a poor so decided to go with a PTR 9kt, which has some modern upsides (welded pic rail on receiver and mlok hand guard), with my TP9 suppressor. Also went with the 92x Compact G.

I have a PTR with an overall length of 26 inches, including the brace. Since it meets the ATF’s length requirement as a firearm, am I allowed to add a vertical grip?

I have a SS from Sko with their buffer and printed lower. When testing it the other day, one round fired, bolt came back and passed over the hammer and got stuck. Not sure what the fix is here. A longer buffer? 80* locking piece? Lower back pressure can? Tested with my omega 9k and Alaskan 360, I did not however test it without a can (mainly as I have no intention of ever shooting it without one, but I suppose I should give that a try). I did shave the hammer down so the bolt can pass over it, but yeah, seems to be going too far back.

My MAC5k came in this week. The grip is designed for right handed use, left feels weird and I'm southpaw. The magpul.ambi.grip doesn't seem like it will fit despite it saying it'll work with clones. But there is a pin hole and the Magpul doesn't seem to have the hole for the pin. See circle in pic. Has anyone actually installed an ambi grip on a MAC5K? Which one, how etc?
