Our WIKI is a work in progress but is now up. We will be posting more in the weeks to come.
Benefits of a Concealed Weapons Permit in Arizona
One of the wonderful things about Arizona is that we have so much public land available to us to use. You can legally shoot on National Forest and BLM land as long as there are no fire restrictions. Pick up your trash, and maybe a little extra if you have the room.
You can't shoot across any road or with 1/4 mile of any occupied building. And always be safe.
Use Magnifying Glass to search for address or coordinates, better on a computer as mobile doesn't always work.
OnX Maps also has land ownership info

It's impossible to search for anything and the prices are so low none of the posts can be real. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used it.
As the title says, looking for a Colt python. I have called like 10 gun stores and the only one that has some in person is Tombstone Tactical and they are kinda far and overcharging, anyone else have one closer to me? I live in Gilbert/QueenCreek
Does anybody in town sell a SIG P320 trigger bar spring? I found it online at several retailers but the shipping rates are ridiculous. The spring is 6 bucks and most places are charging $8+ for shipping. Any shops selling them locally?
Anything interesting that I can do? I want to hear what everyone else do there. Is it worth for the $15 a hour Tomestone shooting gallery? What to do with the bays, and long range platforms?
Anybody has been to Sycamore as of late? Planning of heading down there tomm to shoot.
Anyone else ever have issues with them? I purchased a Smith & Wesson 3.1 inch performance center shield plus. When I get there I hand the guy my drivers license, which has my middle initial. He hands it back and says he needs some form of ID with my full middle name. I’ve purchased multiple guns from multiple local gun shops and have never had this issue. So I look it up right there in the shop and it’s all fabricated bullshit! I get my registration, insurance, student ID everything has my middle initial on it.. Then the asshole has the nerve to laugh in my face when I mention I had to drive from Queen Creek and leave work a little early just to make it out there. Had the asshole cancel my order and I will never come back!
Worst LGS I’ve ever experienced!
Looking to get one of the newer Walther PPK/S threaded locally, and EVT already told me they couldn’t do it, unfortunately.
Hi all - I found 3-4 handguns I'm interested in purchasing soon. I'm talking to a retailer about doing a bundle to buy through them, and I'm starting to wonder will I run into any obstacles? I looked up and AZ laws don't limit the number of guns, but apparently my FFL may have to notify the ATF if multiple are purchased within a certain period of time. I don't mind that, but I just don't want to put them in an uncomfortable position or lose $ having to return them because of a denied transfer.
Is there anyone with history buying multiple firearms at once who can share their experience? I'm a newer gun owner but I do have my CCW (if that makes any difference). Thank you!
I was thinking about going out this weekend. Is it open? I got a fat ticket a while back because I was shooting south of the big berm against the mountain. The US forest service website is so confusing.
I remember going to the last Crossroads event in Pima County, they did not allow any Carry-Conceal. Any word if they do the same in Mesa this weekend?
Looking for people to shoot with and run Tacticool drills. I’m a fairly casual shooter, but have done a few Thursday night pistol matches up at Ben Avery. Open to whatever, I typically go out to BLM land off Carefree.
Looking for an outdoor gun range to take a group for afternoon shoot within reasonable distance from Chandler. I was told this site had a sidebar with ranges but I don't see it?
Looking for a shop in the east valley that has any 454 Casull firearms in stock. Can be a rifle or revolver.
Soon to be AZ resident. I have my TX license to carry. I know I can't use my TX license to bypass NICS check if I buy a gun in AZ and both states have reciprocity. Is there any other benefit to getting an AZ CCW apart from the nics check?
Hi all - I saw a post a week or so back about someone looking for consignment recommendations for an AK. I'm wanting to consign a couple custom Colt 1911s for an opportunity that came up. One is a Lew Horton engraved limited edition. Gun broker seems like a pain as an individual since I can't get set up to accept credit card payments. Any local suggestions are appreciated.
Went out to Saddleback Mountain this morning. Pretty nice range. Camp Church seemed much busier. I guess since SM is more of a long range range, it’s not as popular. I think as there for probably an hour before another person showed up.
Steel targets at 200/300/400/500/700. I don’t have a range finder so I couldn’t verify the ranges.
8/10 would shoot again. Just too bad it’s so far from my house.
Howdy y’all. I recently had some slides stolen for a few pistols and I’m looking to see if it worth it to replace the slides or just buy new pistols. I know I can get a caliber exchange kit for sig pistols but does anyone sell a complete slide for Glock 20 gen 5?
Can’t be a random gunsmith who’ll “figure it out”, prefer someone who knows the platform, or has references for quality work done on rare or out-of-production (no factory support or replacement parts available). Thanks fellas
Hi I'm shopping online and looking for a FFL in North/Central Phoenix for transfers. Preferably a FFL that offers pricing on multiples ($20 for the first, $10 for each additional, etc.). I'm also a CWP holder if that helps!
So far the best I've found are MMP Guns and Harrison Brothers Tactical - $30 per transfer at each place, unfortunately no special pricing for CWP or multiple transfers at once.
Thank you for the help!
I know the Whitlow fire had us restricted in the area, anybody know if it's open again? Checked the sidebar but unclear
