Is there a way to easily identify Gen 1 vs 2 when handling one of these?

I’m torn between Spear Lt and Rattler Lt but if I do go for the Spear would like to go with one recently manufactured to work out the kinks we all heard about early on (barrel shift, no return to Zero, etc)

Help me understand. I live in PA. I am looking to buy a P365-XMacro with a manual safety. My gun shop is telling me they can only sell the CA compliant XMacro with the 10 round mags and not the 17 round mags. I was confused by this because I've held an XMacro with the manual safety and 17 round mags.

Help me if you know one... I am looking for a thin, minimalistic holster for a P938 SAS - with optics cutout for Holsun 507k. Either many manufacturers don't make one for P938, or they don't have optics cutout, or when they do, the clip is in a horrible location - at the thickest part of the holster to make it bulky.

Safariland just emailed me about the new SOLIS® ALS® Concealment OWB Holster, comes with ALS locking, thumb release, paddle or belt loop attachment, light and optic compatible. $90 more or less. Why I'd OWB carry the P365 XL I'm not sure, but it'll be good to have a matching option across all four Sigs (P226, P320, XTEN, P365, all in ALS holsters for cool weather OWB carry). I’ve been looking at getting an 11.5” LT upper. They’re available on the Sig website but “discontinued” everywhere else. I’d also like to get a 14.5” barrel to swap in but it looks like the only way to do that is to get a 16” and cut it down.

Why is the selection so bad? Is there a refresh coming? I can’t imagine they’re discontinuing these products already.

Have been doing some window shopping for a higher end Sig. Looked long and hard at the 226 mk25 and legion along with 229 elite and legion. I’m primarily looking to use it for range/home defense use but would like to possibly be able to carry it on occasion when it’s feasible(fall/winter). What are some trade offs between going 226 or 229 and differences in listed models? Thanks

I’m hoping to hear from those of you with Icarus Ace 320 grip module, who made your holster. I’ve searched through the list of holster makers on the Icarus site and it seems they only make holsters for the 365.

Those of you with holster specifically made for the P320, who made them? I have a few for the factory grip and non fit properly.

I always have a light in the truck or in my pocket if we are walking the dogs.

This setup doesn’t have a gun light to keep bulk and printing minimal. I have other setups with gun light but I like to keep this one nice and simple.

I am a new shooter and jumped both feet forward with a P226 X-five legion 2 weeks ago. I am learning to shoot with iron sites, but would like to get a holo if any black friday sales pop up. I probably wouldn't install the holo for a few months to improve my accuracy with the iron sites.

I understand that the suppressor height sights on the p226 x-five legion may get in the way of some of the holos. Is there a particular holo that people would use on this configuration? It sounds like I should be choosing the romeo1 pro or the romeo-x pro. From those options, my impression is that the romeo1 pro sits a little higher and may not interfere as much with the front sight? Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Hey all. I bought a brand new P226 legion and it has the most loose slide out of my three hand guns. It rattles even with an empty mag in. Neither of my other pistols do this. I have a Glock 45 and Beretta 92 GTS. I’ve found some Reddit posts and forums but they are mostly from over 10 years ago. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!
