As of today, November 7th, I’m wondering if it’s too late to get a hunting license for this year, I’ve never held a hunting license before and have not taken the safety course, I’ve looked online and it seems like the only issue I might have is finding a field day this late in the season. Wondering if anybody has any insight, thanks in advance!
Does anyone happen to have a mechanical front rest like a bald eagle or anything fancier?
I’m interested in getting hands on to test before spending that kind of money.
Thanks in advance!
It looks like the Executive branch and Senate are now controlled by the GOP. How likely is it that we are going to see the old legislation cleared out?
We have anti 2A tyrants running for high office in this state. Get out and vote against them.
Got a old wheelgun that needed a new arm to turn the cylinder, seems it might need actual fitting to work properly as I can't put it at battery.
I'd hate to go to Shooters, but they're right down the road, 3 minutes away...I expect an arm and a leg cost though for something that will probably take any half decent gunsmith a few minutes.
It's a 1875 Uberti Outlaw in .45 LC. Nice gun, got it from my fathers friend "barely fired", he said.
The internals really show that to not be true..but I got it at almost a criminal price, so I guess I can't complain.
Covers; Gun Safety, Gun Storage, Type of Firearms and their parts, Magazines, Ammunition, Sights, What to expect on the range, What you need at the range, Cleaning your gun etc. Happy halloween. Instructor: Dan Gables , 60+ years of expertise in handling firearms. I took several of his classes. 10/10 recommend.
Just moved to the area not too long ago and purchased my first firearm, looking for any outdoor areas to shoot any information greatly appreciated
With some love and decent ammunition this model 94 can do some good work (at 50 yards though).
Does anyone who’s been through a course at Wilson Hill Pistol club in Manch know if the instructors allow drawing from an Appendix holster?
Was in a rush and grabbed a box of 357 SIG instead of 357 MAG at my LGS today. Obviously can't return it, but I also don't think I have ever even seen a gun chambered in 357 SIG. Guess its going to live in the back of my safe for the next 40 years.
Hello All, I am very new to the firearms and I am totally hooked to it especially to rimfire marksmanship events after I attended a appleseed event recently. It was a blast and 10/10 recommended.
I have heard of pioneer for uspsa/ idpa style pistol competetions. I carry a cz p10f which I am preparing for such events in near future.
Is there any roster at llcal clubs that welcome new novice members with no experience to register for such rimfire rifle competetions ? TIA.
Full 15 round Glock 19 mag with HP stolen from backpack at work recently, just the mag, gun was safe in different pocket when I discovered this. Dumb move to keep it there, but is it worth reporting? I don't think so but just want a second opinion. Thinking I just count my loss and move on. Learned my lesson the hard way, could have been worse.
Slightly worried about my fingerprints being on it, might be used for crime later but also not too worried about that, might just sit in someone else's sock drawer, who knows. Don't want to mention it to anyone because it's already a liability that it was accessible to someone else like that. Wicked stupid move on my part, don't always like carrying on person while working. didn't have car with me that day to lock it up.
To my understanding a rifle with a barrel less than 16" is classified as a pistol. So is it legal to keep one let's say under the back seat in a vehicle with a loaded magazine in it (not with one in the chamber)? Any information is appreciated.
Is there a process to sell a gun purchased in NH to an MA resident? All I read suggests I have to go through MA FFL, but this almost sounds like I need to get an MA license to sell firearms which is extremely complicated. I know someone who bought a gun in NH and just gave it to his son in MA. His son just went online and registered the gun in his name. But that doesn't sound right to me.
I’m curious the legality of riding a motorcycle with a rifle. Can you sling a rifle on your back while riding? For context I would be going from my house to class six “roads” to hunt so basically taking a Dirtbike into trails but would need to transport the rifle. Not that it makes a difference going through towns, but I’m not trying to ride my Harley with an AK in downtown Manchester or anything before everyone gets all mad.
Can a MA LTC conceal carry while in NH?
Looking at moving to MA with an AR. Should i not be able to, am i legally allowed to store my gun with family in NH?
Have you guys seen the review responses from the owners at Shooter’s Outpost? The responses reach a whole new level of immaturity and vindictiveness. Totally unprofessional and unbecoming of a “veteran” owned store. As a veteran too, that shit is beyond embarrassing
Does anyone have any favorite gloves for the colder weather? Went out this morning and it was a little chilly. The grip started bothering me a lot sooner than usual. Not ready to sign up for the indoor range just yet
Have been working on getting out of the MA hellhole for years. Finally got pre-approved for a house around 400k! I have always been in love with Coos county. My only real requirement is being able to make my own backyard rifle and pistol range. I've spent years at public ranges/friend's ranges, and I'm done with it. I want my own.
With the market being what it is, most of my feasible options for homes are around 2 to 5 acres of land. Specifically, near the Jefferson area of Coos.
Just looking for some natives advice here. Is 2 acres enough to not bother neighbors? Are most folks up that way pretty gun friendly?
Thank you!
I was gifted a case of ammo mostly full of 40 and 45 caliber. There are easily 40+ boxes of 50+ rounds per each one, different brands mostly between 150-180 grain
Unfortunately I only own 9mm for handguns but I’d like to venture out to 10mm, maybe use the funds for a Glock 20 since the ammo is just sitting there
Is there anywhere in NH that outright buys ammo? I’d be willing to sell it all in bulk
Hello all, recent NH resident here, moved from MA. Would it be legal for me to purchase a handgun? I did a small amount of research and ran into a lot of grey area. A commonality I saw states that I may purchase a long gun such as a shotgun, but not a handgun. Would I need to aquire a NH license or form of ID? Thanks in advance
Just bought a SAM7 from my buddy who has a cabin in NH but I live in RI
Can I do the transfer up in NH, or does he have to bring it down to RI?
Wasnt sure if that gun is considered a long gun for the purposes of out of state transfer
I need help because I was convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence after taking a plea deal. I was young and made a mistake seven years ago, and now I feel like I lost all my rights because of it. Since then, I've built a great life with a family and a home, and I want to protect myself. I want to know if I can legally own a gun in New Hampshire, where I’ve lived my whole life. We don’t have gun laws other than restrictions for felons, drug crimes, or active protective orders, none of which apply to me.
My question is: can I legally own a gun in New Hampshire? I always thought I couldn't, but when I looked it up tonight, I noticed that it seemed to have been removed from the RSA.
