What’s your favorite line from any blooper you wish they had kept in? My favorite is Gabe’s “I’ve been taking karate classes online”
I realize they’re drawer-slide boxes but the metal strips on the sides are what have me puzzled. Can these boxes fit into some sort of rack somehow? Or do they interlock? Has anyone used these irl in an office or work setting?
I appreciate what they did include from Scranton, even if it wasn't filmed in Scranton. But there are places and events that could have been great backdrops for some Office hyjinx. Michael played hockey as a youth. It would have made a lot of sense if Michael was a fan of the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Penguins, the AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins. They used to sell out the Mohegan Sun Arena for almost every game, especially when it was Calder Cup Time. The Mohegan Sun casino. They didn't have to have casino night in the warehouse. Nay Aug Park. That's probably where Pam's art show would have been. Another great place for walks on dates. La Fiesta Italiana over Labor Day weekend on public square in Scranton. It's as big as the St. Paddy's Day parade there. Old Forge Pizza! It's another great night out, Dave Portnoy even suggests going there in his pizza reviews. There are also old times train rides through the Poconos. There are many events like Oktoberfest and Wine festivals as well as a water park at Montage Mountain Ski Resort which is just outside Scranton. Right above the baseball Stadium which was the home of the Philadelphia Phillies AAA affiliate and now the Yankees affiliate. Also no one goes to study art in New York, there are a couple places in Scranton or Wilkes-Barre where people can go and the do get jobs in Philly or New York. That's just of the few places the show missed out on. If only they hired a writer from here 🤔
“You realize that with no way to earn more commission now I have no incentive to sell.”
Jim had a good point. If he hit his commission cap, then he’s done for the pay period and has no more incentive or reason to work or show up until next pay period. He’s met his commission cap, yet Sabre expects him to stay and continue doing work for free.
Gabe then complains that Jim doesn’t even “at least look busy”. Sabre definitely shot themselves in the foot with that change in policy from the old “unlimited commissions and sales is king” policy.
This honestly was a good depiction of shifty corporate rules and policies today, doing all they can to get cheap/free labor out of people with quiet fancy footwork in their rules and policies. If I’m a sales person and I do super well for a pay period/quarter/whatever the commission period is, and hit my commission cap….what reason do I have to show up or keep selling seeing that I can’t make any further money myself?
I mean come on... For those many years hovering around front desk, pretty sure people will talk.
I saw a post that said contrast now im wondering what it is for you. Mine is The S3 finale and “New Boss”
How have I missed this? Was this the only time “GD” was used?
Watching the early seasons everything he does in relation to Pam feels he is very obsessed not in good cute way, like a very creepy way. Like if he wasn’t the protagonist of the show I feel many would hate him. If Pam decided to be with someone else I feel like he would have lost it. He is a funny character and enjoyable to watch at times but I feel like people shouldn’t take real life advice from him, which I seen happen unfortunately.
That trailer was rough…
I could have watched an entire season of this show
Meaning an episode that actually gets worse with more scenes. For me, it's Training Day. There's a lot of really unfunny stuff added and Michael is insufferable. He rips off Kevin's toupée and passes a photo around of Deangelo when he was over 400 pounds. It's very mean-spirited and just not a fun episode.
This morse code prank... all the time and effor
Am just watching branch closure, and wondered who people think would have been transferred to Stanford. Presumably as best salesman Dwight would have been one if he wanted to move away from his farm. If he moved, how do people think Josh would have managed him?
Mine is definitely after Bob Vance introduces himself,
“Kevin Malone.”
“Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration”
“Stanley Hudson”
“Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration”
“Ryan Howard”
“Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration”
Ryan: “So what line of work you in, Bob?”
