Don’t think I have to explain why!
Does anyone have a high res image of when Opie is riding to go after Clay?
I think giving Opie a better death scene would've been that plot point.
I'm wondering what happened to the grim bastards. Jax helped them to become sons but in the mayans MC they still exist. Was T.O. the only bastard who became a son? it seems like the patch over never happened.
The series takes place in the 2000s. Scanners and copiers exist.
Okay this is a long shot but I have this memory of a show and I can’t figure it out and it is driving me crazy so I was wondering if it was from SOA. The scene in my head someone ends someone life by putting them in a truck and making them overdose on heroin. They actually killed them but it looks like an accidental over dose. I feel like it was either this show or breaking bad. Did this actually happen and does anyone know which show. Please help I’m going crazy!
In 2011, 'Yellowstone' creator Taylor Sheridan was working as an actor and down to his last $800. When his attorney attempted to negotiate a pay raise for his role as Deputy Chief David Hale in FX's 'Sons of Anarchy,' an exec told him: "He probably deserves to make more, but we’re not going to pay him more... There are 50 of him. He is #11 on the call sheet. That’s what that guy is and that’s all he’s ever going to be." That was the final insult that convinced Sheridan "I didn’t want to be #11 on the call sheet for the rest of my life.” So he got to writing, and four years later, he'd turned in a screenplay that became Denis Villeneuve's highly acclaimed 'Sicario' (2015). The following year, Sheridan racked up award nominations for David Mackenzie’s 'Hell or High Water' (2016) starring Chris Pine and Ben Foster; before making his own directorial debut with 'Wind River' (2017). The real game-changer, however, was when he co-created one of the most successful modern television franchises: 'Yellowstone.' The five-season run, featuring Kevin Costner, has already spawned two spin-off shows, and has three more under development. These results convinced Paramount to let him produce five more passion projects — 'Mayor of Kingstown,' 'Tulsa King,' 'Special Ops: Lioness,' 'Lawmen: Bass Reeves,' and the forthcoming 'Landman.' Today Taylor Sheridan is worth over $200 million and is the proud owner of the historic Texas Four Sixes Ranch, which he now rents out to Paramount to film some of his shows. How's that for being #11 on the call sheet? You own your path. No one else is going to pave it for you. What's holding you back?
Did Jax die without discovering the secret that Gemma had "helped" kill his father?
might not be a popular opinion but i think the finale was perfection best ending to a great story
The one scene where the cops force Gemma and clay to bang in front of them felt so forced. Why did they have to shove that in like that? She was about to leave the cell, end scene but then they shoehorn that shit in there. And then the whole Teller Morrow place blows up and they get out because of a fucking shamrock pen? Why would the guy give them a shamrock pen? This show isn’t exactly fine film making if you know what I mean
The scene in The Shield that played during Juice and Potter’s conversation in holding to the consistently referencing of Potter to Mayor Quimby (The Simpsons) when talking about Hale both have excellent references when you understand them. Same with the Judd Clampett joke Clay makes during season four and the George and Gracie joke Gemma makes in the same season. It’s easy to miss them when you’re not looking for them, but once you’ve seen what they’re referencing it brings more significance to the scenes. What are others you’ve noticed?
Why did Rat ride a Softail while the rest of the sons rode mostly dyna's?
In season 6 ep11 was the idea that Jax gave the feds Galen and the guns. Instead he kills clay and Galen . Why didn't Jax follow trough with his deal with the feds, and gave the guns and Galen to the feds? He left Galen's body and the guns right in the hangar so I don't really get it.
I almost want to fast forward through all her scenes. Please no spoilers I am on s7e2. I really hope she gets what’s coming to her. The 6 season finale was one of the top most shocking episodes I’ve seen in my lifetime. How do people in this sub feel about Gemma ?
Hunched over, oxygen mask; I think he's great in the entire series, but something about how much more cunning he allowed himself to be to get the gavel back is was such a great performance by Perlman. I appreciate it on every rewatch but the first time was awesome.
First time watching, I could shoot with my eyes closed and I’d be more accurate than every single club member in this show
Jesus Christ
The prison fight scene gets me every time!!!!
Years ago I quit watching and told myself I'd start again someday. Well, took quite a while but I think I'm ready. But for the life of me I cannot remember where I was, and I don't want to spoil it for myself to read into episodes.
Can ya'll help me out? At which episode did I drop off?
Possible spoilers ahead.
I think that the last episode I saw may have been a season end. The motor guys were caught and being transported to prison. But somehow they managed to not go to prison. It was all a scheme and everyone was happy in the back of the van(?).
No spoilers please. I have been avoiding any news on this series for years also.
Another person that I couldn't stand was Collette. O M G. I hated her in Fear the Walking Dead and in Deadwood. A lot of the actors on SOA were on Deadwood, btw. I couldn't stand her blonde bimbo bootie walking around Jax. I was kinda glad the Chinese got to her. I know everyone will disagree with me.
Lee Toric comes along and my god I hate him! It’s my first time watching and aghhh I keep having to take breaks because I just get such rage watching him!
I’ve watched this series at least 8 or 9 times. I’m really not sure. My hate/love for Gemma and Tara waxes and wanes every time. But the way Gemma changes her reality about the death of John Teller always gives me different perspectives!
This time…as she tell Nero during season 6, I realize she truly believes none of it is her fault. She has zero responsibility!
Just thoughts as I watch this amazing and crazy alternate universe again…
Okay, I just got done watching an episode and even though it probably wasn't right for what Jax did to Wendy. She did technically threatening to rat them out. She was going on how she had prove of Abel being kidnapped and she was going to report it. I could be wrong but doesn't that sound like she was going to rat them out? Like I said I could be wrong but I always wondered about that.
And I know it'll be said again but FUCK Clay
I'm doing a rewatch for the first time in a few years and clay just talked to the Cartel about Tera, he didn't learn anything after his mistake with Opie
They made his character for us to hate I understand that and Ron Perlman plays it so wonderfully
Yeah I get it, his wife was brutally murdered and a quality kitchen fork was wasted. So he unleashed the darkness a bit.
But killing Wayne Unser, just nope. In my mind, I cannot justify the killing of Wayne Unser. Granted it probably saved him a death from cancer, but still.
At that point, I just lost all respect.
Basically I am looking for people I mentioned in the title to make one of my personal projects happen. That being the game about Bikers and motorcycle clubs, I have ideas for the plot, characters etc, I just need people with peoper education and skills that will help me a little, I could be the overseer and sometimes background guy who will help ocassionally, of course the project is non profit, but it's very personal and I want to make it happen. It will be targeted towards SOA fans and Mayans MC fans. So yeah, message me if you want.
Doing a rewatch and just came up on the scene with miles and happy, when happy is trying to make it seem as if miles is being tortured by banging a hammer on the table is hilarious definitely one of my more favourite scenes. A close runner up would be the entire adult film vote in, clay asking if he even needs to ask, oh man pure comedy gold.
