RULES AND GUIDELINES
DO use the search function. Are you interested in what everyone thinks of Season 9 or why the music is different on Netflix? These questions have been asked a ton of times.
DO use your own discretion with spoilers, especially with titles. If a user says they're still watching the show for the first time then please use spoiler tags when necessary:>!text goes here!<
, ex: text goes here.
DO NOT Post your personal text, facebook, DM, etc conversations. They will be removed.
DO NOT use hate speech/slurs or use personal attacks.
DO NOT Post animated gifs, please just submit the video link from YouTube or upload to Gfycat or use imgur .gifv. GIFs take larger bandwidth over video formats.
DO NOT Comment with just "There is no Season 9" These comments will be deleted, they add nothing to the discussion. There are people who want to discuss Season 9/Med School.
DO stay on topic. Posting social media updates from the cast that do not relate to the show will be removed. This is not /r/ZachBraff. Social media posts from the actors that are about the show are more than welcome. Posting things that vaguely relate to the show may be removed if blatantly off topic.
DO NOT Post about outside news or US or World politics. Let's keep it about the show and not what's happening in the real world.
YOU CAN post photos you've taken with the crew, but please post a comment giving a little back story, what was the person like, how'd you meet them, etc.

Kim, a likable character, a well-constructed chemistry with JD
and then what?
the writers decided to insert a pregnancy....
I wonder how they thought this could be a good writing idea.
a pregnancy in a TV series is a turning point in writing from which there is no turning back.
so I was sure that the story between JD and Kim would end in a miscarriage, to “make up” for the bad writing choice.
instead they preferred to make Kim a detestable and dishonest character and then have her practically disappear from the show.
I wonder if there is anything behind these poor writing choices.
because I find it hard to believe that the writers really wanted this.
There's a funny scene in an episode of scrubs where JD approached the janitor who was cleaning with spic & span. And i watched all the DVDs and just couldn't find it. Anybody know what I'm talking about?
In season 8 why is Elliot working over night call and training interns when she’s a private practice doctor who just works out of Sacred Heart?
Ight, so me and my girlfriend had pitch perfect 1 on tonight. I’ve also been rewatching scrubs because it’s been a gift doing so as a pursue medical school. And the scene where Donald F(Turk) is about to fight one of the girls, his friend says “So Gandhi are we doing this?”
Am I crazy or is that not 10000% a reference to his nickname from the show? I can’t find it confirmed anywhere
Terrible lie aside, her fears were 100% correct in the end, no matter what. JD didn't fight/want to stay with her when she first told him this lie - meaning he was only with her for the baby. When he took her back, he still agreed that he was only with her for the baby (granted because it was hard to trust her now, but then again reference the first lie - it wasn't enough before either). Either scenario, her lying was bad but it was fair and justified.
I think Kim's fears were fair and it's obviously much better for her to not be forced to live with someone who didn't want to be with her. It's one of those things that I agree is selfish but I understand. I felt really bad for her.
Lightly connected is Jordan lying that the baby wasn't Dr Cox's, this was obviously a much better lie but it was to show the same thing, whether Dr Cox really loved HER.
Edit because a comment pointed out my post was sort of confusing:
My point is that even though it was selfish of her, the reasoning makes me think saying a "terrible lie" is fair. It's a coexistence between the lie being bad or doing something bad/selfish/"terrible", but that not bothering me because I think it's fair/justified.
I feel similarly about Lily in season 1 of How I Met Your Mother.
Would anyone be willing to sign a petition that streaming services separate season 9 from the rest of the show? I wasn't paying attention and it accidentally came on. If they won't do that, can they just edit out Dave Franco? Med School would be so much better without him.
I'm watching Scrubs properly for the first time since I watched it as a kid. I just got to season seven and is it just me, or is it off? The comedic timing feels off and the characters feel like caricatures of themselves. Granted I'm only on ep 4, so we'll see I guess.
Hello, people of Reddit. I'm just wondering which episode from Scrubs references Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Matthew Hussey Goes Deep on Relationships
October 29, 2024 • 89 mins
Zach and Donald are joined by relationship guru and British heartthrob Matthew Hussey to discuss all things meeting, courting, and figuring out love. Sorry ladies, he's taken.
I watched a few episodes randomly back in the day. So I’m late to the party. I’m currently on Season 5.
I’m purposefully not scrolling the sub and I honestly have no idea how the show significantly progresses or ends. I knew a few plot points. Please don’t ruin it for me lol.
I am so happy about this and I don’t know why. A bit moronic lol.
Anyway, the reason for my post - I just need to tell someone and this may have been repeated to death, apologies y’all. There are a few episodes in Season 5 that are absolutely sending me emotionally and I did not expect this. I don’t know if I’m just sensitive from insomnia just damn. I am very pleasantly surprised.
EDIT: I HAVE FINISHED THE SERIES. Best sub ever. Thank you so much for letting me “Just tell someone” without giving me spoilers. Season 8 finale was great.
I just saw a preview for a new comedy medical sitcom. Makes me think they are trying to make it like scrubs. It's called St. Denis Medical.

Neil Flynn once again rocking out to More Than A Feeling
I've never seen a Scrubs DVD at the thrift shops I frequent, and today I stumble on 6 full seasons. 😃
Kiss Bob Kelso on the lips or have to spend a week sharing a bed with JD and Turk? Nothing sexual but you'd have to listen to their banter all night
