So I'm watching Mud, Sweat, and Beards and the guy/host/whatever, goes on some holier than though speil about how mean only tastes good if you kill it yourself and there's no spiritual connection to steak and chicken bought at the supermarket. All I can think while watching him is, "You cut down an entire pine tree just to catch some scrawny raccoon with hardly any meat on it." Survival in the wild isn't about nobility or spirituality, it's about surviving.
I know I'm coming way late to the party but I just found Treadstone, binging Season 1. Being a Bourne fan I found it consistent and enjoyable. I was disappointed that a really good near theatrical quality program has been canceled.
Just putting it out there.
My apologies for the vagueness of this post...but I'm looking for a movie/tv movie that I happen to come across when I was a little kid. This had to be the late 80's/early 90's..and I wanna say it was on the USA Network. All I remember is the ending...which has a woman stab a man with a pair scissors and in the next scene she is cutting some other woman's hair and when they move away from the scene...the man's head is on display and the credits roll. I remember it freaking me out as a kid...as I felt that I probably shouldn't be watching this. Now as an adult...I want to find this movie. Can anyone help?
I've been trying to find the name of a show that came on late at night, I think it was on the USA Network. It was a low-budget "adult" rip-off of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but it had adults and they wore skimpy, revealing outfits. I'm pretty sure there was a talking head, too, but I can't be 100% certain. I remember seeing this around 1996, 1997, but only once, and never again. I think it came on shortly after USA Up All Night? I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. I've googled "Power Rangers rip off", "adult power ranges rip off" + "USA Network" + "1990s" and I've followed a ton of links, but to no avail.
Hi! Aside from having to pay per episode on Amazon? Is there a reason USA Network doesn't have a deal with one of the million streaming platforms for their properties, there are so many! It's owned by NBC Universal, which I know has the Peacock app in the states - but as its not a channel in the UK- any hope for them releasing some of their shows on ones that here?
Already paying a fortune for (Now Tv, Prime and Netflix) I am not going to pay for 125 individual episodes of MONK.
Just finished both shows (I know way late) but I would have loved to see an episode with all the characters together.
Does anyone ever wish that there was an Avengers-style crossover between the shows during the "Blue Skies" era? There were a lot of commercials that played off this, and I'm sure it would have been a huge undertaking, especially at that time.
But did anyone ever wonder what it would be like to have it be confirmed that Monk, Psych, White Collar, Suits, Burn Notice, Necessary Roughness, Covert Affairs and In Plain Sight all existed in the same universe and have the characters reach out and have to work together on a particular case?
Note: I do remember the series finale of Psych implied that it shared the same universe with Monk, but it was more like a friendly nod than an outright confirmation.
