Remaining threads

So Venture Bros is finished, (for now anyway), But there’s still a few lingering plot threads remaining, such as the OSI having Jonas’ brain, the whereabouts of characters like The Sovereign and Molotov, various romantic subplots like sirena and warriana, and a personal hope of mine, the location of the original Rusty Venture. Should WBD decide to allow the show to receive a final season or another movie, what plot threads would you want to see addressed before saying goodbye (again?) Are there any that need to be, in your opinion?

For those who aren't aware, Jonas and the original Team Venture are parodies of Doc Savage and his Fabulous Five. Doc Savage was a brilliant scientist-superhero who would "cure" his enemies with forced brain surgery.

H.E.L.P.eR and his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day(s)

Let’s give some love to one of my favorite characters, H.E.L.P.eR.

I recently rewatched Careers in Science and H.E.L.P.eR’s incredibly bad day made me feel so sad for him. In this episode he: Gets sucked out of an air lock, crashes into a communication satellite where his distress called are misinterpreted as fax machine communications, bursts through the wall of Gargantuan 1, is savagely beaten by Hank and Dean because they mistake him for the Phantom Spaceman, is EJECTED ONCE AGAIN from Gargantuan 1 back into space by Hank and Dean after they’ve pummeled him, and then somehow survives a fiery reentry through Earth’s atmosphere only for him to crash land at Venture Industries (what luck to land exactly there!). Poor H.E.L.P.eR!

But this made me think: H.E.L.P.eR has many bad days through the course of the series. What are some other terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days he has had and in what episode?

Started the show recently. Just saw the scooby doo episode and it was some of the funniest stuff i've ever seen.

The Way Fred was so overtly sinnister and creepy was brilliant and the Brock subplot was magnificent too. I think Orpheus is my favorite character with how overdramatic he is all the time.

I thought Hank and Dean were actually going to find out they were clones but maybe they will later. I'd like to think Rusty lied to spare their feelings but maybe i'm giving him too much credit and he just didn't want to deal with it.

S1 Ep9 Venture Bros. reviewed and rated – Ice Station – Impossible!

New YouTube video essay about "Ice Station Impossible". I think it is thematically the darkest episode of Season 1. The situation with the Impossible Family - especially the dynamic between Richard and Sally Impossible. I also learned that Jackson Publick thought about using "Sweden" by the Divine Comedy for the scene when Dr Venture nearly freezes to death. It really would have been perfect, so now I consider it to be an official Venture Bros song, along with "Like A Friend" and "Everybody's Free".

The plot of the episode reminds me of "The Shining". Richard Impossible really is a scumbag and I can't wait to see him getting his comeuppance.

Revisiting the timeline Of Rusty and cloning

Okay so something that occurred to me is that if the Monarch is born in 68 and Rusty was born in 1960- 61 how is it that there's a picture of them playing together as children roughly the same age? I know they're both clones but knowing that means there's two possibilities to consider with very dark implications. 1.) Is that the Monarch is in fact not the original monarch, the picture is in fact older and that's why Malcolm doesn't remember. 2.) (More likely) Rusty had died and been cloned already multiple times when that photo was taken. And that means that Rusty's pretty much been cloned and re-cloned from the start. Odds are Rusty probably died on a number of his Adventures, (eaten by a pterodactyl, on the moon with poor little Dimitri, trying to save Scamp) and he kept getting resurrected by his father and brought back to run around on these missions And I don't think it was out of love, I think Jonas Venture Sr. was passive aggressively trying to punish him. So here's my theory: Rusty Venture ate his twin brother in the womb, this was a very traumatic experience for both his parents and as a result Rusty's mother took off not long after he was born. Saddened by this Jonas Venture Sr. Began to develop cloning tech so that he never had to worry about losing his child again but also so that he could put him in harms way. He essentially wanted to Arch his own kid. Because he was the weaker scrawnier twin that survived he would die over and over as punishment. Now the rest of original team Venture doesn't realize this except sort of maybe the Action Man who I think doped out of his gourd would stumble into Rusty's room early in the morning and dry fire is pistol saying "not today Rusty" that was him trying to express his guilt over the multiple child deaths.

Also I suspect that this would explain why the Monarch is genetically modified seeing Rusty at the Lesser twin that survived Dr venture tried to see if he could improve upon his own work by genetically modifying a few of the Clones This also ties into the theory that Billy quiz boy is in fact a rusty clone as well.

F it I want a full Shallow Gravy Album

I don't care how the series ended, if they can't make more episodes they should just release a full Shallow Gravy album. Like how Marvel did back in the seventies with Dazzler or Adult Swim with Deathklok. That should be the series epilogue; Hank, Dermot and H.e.l.p.e.r get the band back together Pete white produces get a few audio clips of the other characters chiming in

That would be the perfect to go bag for the series

So I finally saw the movie thoughts about that end

So the end of the movie we found out that Rusty pretty much made Hank and Dean on his own with some donated eggs from Debbie St. Simone Bobbi's daughter

And we know that Rusty has had a lifelong obsession with Bobbi stemming from a single encounter when he was 10 and eating breakfast alone in his kitchen. In an earlier season Dr. Killinger revealed that one of Rusty's core traumatic memories is seeing his father's Gargantua 1 while eating breakfast

Did both events happen on the same day? Is Bobbi the woman he heard his father sleeping with? Is it possible that the emotional whiplash of meeting his first crush then beging traumatized by his father, inspired Rusty to later want to take revenge by having 2 kids with the daughter of his dad's EX

A final FU to the man who took so much from him
