We're like the Gilmore Girls, but we came first so we're better.
A subreddit for the ABC series Happy Endings.
Six friends hang out together. Hilarity ensues. There's also a good chance there won't be a Joey spin-off this time. Well, maybe Fat Joey.

What was the actual mountain name?
You’re really going to hate this latest episode with Paul Lee.
The quality is a struggle. It’s the Zoomiest of Zoom calls. The improviser in Adam and Casey really come out as it feels like they’re really desperate to make Paul laugh.
So just a heads up.
give me something Happy Endings related.
lmaooo. i will also name the aisles with quotes bc that's me.
Y’all remember S3E20 when Alex, Penny, and Brad show Dave the painting they while wearing scarves with super whitened teeth? Brad said “It's like a portrait of two lipstick lesbians who adopted a lost boy of Sudan.”
I want that painting. Anyone know how I can get/find/buy a copy? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Para Hoy!
The guest was Jason Berger, a writer's assistant on the show as well as owner of the @happywrites account on Twitter (infamously known for the Happy Endings countdown clock a few years ago that led to nothing). He took tons of notes as writer's assistant on the show and has pages of jokes that were pitched by the writers but didn't make it into the show, and today's pod episode is just Adam and Casey doing like reads of the never used jokes.
For example, some never used jokes from the S2 Halloween episode (when Alex is sick), Max tells Alex she looks like Tom Hanks in the third act of Philadelphia. He also tells her she looks like a walk-in clinic. In the same pile-on, Dave tells her when she's not sick she looks like Baywatch Pam Anderson, but in her current state she looks like Kid Rock Pam Anderson.
How do you guys think Penelope is coping after all this Diddy stuff came out? 🤣🤣 Do you think she was victim? Or if she helped him do some illegal stuff? I'm sure she definitely regrets meeting him.
2024, year of Penny.... getting arrested 😬
Work really has been crazy and had my first day off in 3 weeks yesterday and went to see Ben Fold at the Wiltern in LA.
His opening act was this lady that performed the most amazing one woman musical. It was funny, sad, sweet, and just plain wonderful. When it was done, the artist said that she would be in the lobby selling her music and I knew that I had to go. So just as I was pulling up in line, I realize that it was Lindsey Kraft that played Lindsey that was going to give Dave the 2V threesome from The St. Valentine's Day Maxssacre.
I told her that I just realized who she was because she had been on my favorite TV show and she laughed and said that she was barely on one episode and I laughed and said, you don't realize how much I like the show.
Anyway her music is wonderful, check it out!
Today was the first episode interviewing a fan of the show, TV critic Damian Holbrook, instead of a cast member/writer and it was one of the better episodes.
P.S. There have been a few Adam Pally being insufferable (early on) stories told by cast and crew members on the pod, but the article Casey read today by a critic that attended the first Happy Endings cast panel back in 2010 might be the funniest 😂
Considering this is one of the most quotable shows and we all love quoting it, I got the idea of a game where we must quote the show for 15 days. Rules:
1. You can post a new comment using a word, phrase, or a full quote from the show.
2. If you are replying to a comment, it must be the continuation of the quote/dialogue for the show.
3. You can switch the quoting in the comments but it should make sense conversation-wise. For example:
Reply 1: "What kind of bank won't let you make a deposit"
Reply: "Wow, wow, wow, she marches to the beat of her very slow drummer"
These are two quotes from different seasons and episodes.
4. The goal is to have fun and see how long we can keep this up. I said 15 days to give us a goal, I just figured since we all love quoting this show this would be a good thing.
**If you have questions, let me know!**
It’s a Max joke and it involves a car accident and possibly cocaine. That’s about all I can remember.
Shups for LIFE!
Created by David Caspe and the Libman brothers. Adam Pally stars.
It’s definitely nothing like Happy Endings, but then a joke will pop up that’s clearly from Happy Endings people.
I just found this sub and feel like I've found my people. I love Happy Endings so much and as time goes by, I have less and less people to quote it with because I can't find it anywhere to watch in Canada (no Hulu up here 😭). I have found terrible quality episodes on YouTube but that's it. If anyone has any suggestions on where I might find it, I'd love to hear.
Edit: Ok fine guys, I caved and bought all 57 episodes on Apple and I'm 9 episodes deep in a day. Thanks for all the suggestions!
