this one just doesn’t sound as good as these, seems forced and doesn’t have that gravitas to it.
I’ll preface this by stating I’m watching the show on Netflix in the UK as the reason for my question may actually be to do with watching it here as opposed to on the U.S Netflix
So I’m currently continuing a rewatch I started months ago (for some reason I stopped just before the end of S6 but recently picked up from there a few days ago)
I’m three episodes into S7 and every time someone swears (at the moment it’s just been for work ‘fuck’, no other swears have come up but if they do I’ll edit the post), it’s censored. I don’t remember this EVER happening in prior seasons before S7. Can someone confirm if it did? If not then I’m absolutely baffled as to why it’s suddenly started
Thanks in advance
So if you keep up with a few of the posts in here that I normally write, you'll know that I do love a good what if, and I thought an interesting idea would be to go back over the Series and present what I think the Worst scenario/outcome could be with each season
Season 1: >!Mike gets caught by the police before he can meet Harvey, he gets arrested and thrown in prison and the rest of the series doesn't happen.!<
Season 2: >!Harvey and Jessica's plot to get rid of Hardman in "High Noon" fails and as a result, the two of them plus Mike are removed from the firm and due to the non-compete cannot practise law in the city for a year.!<
Season 3: >!There are a couple of places I could see the worst scenario happening like Louis discovering the truth about Mike here instead of the season after or Harvey losing the Hessington trial, but I think the worst case scenario in this season is Louis not being able to convince Harold to not testify and as a result, Mike is carted off to prison after refusing to make a deal to turn on Harvey.!<
Season 4: >!Mike doesn't listen to Louis and begins working for Forstman, and as a result is able to point out the weaknesses in Pearson Specter.!<
Season 5: >!This one I think is quite simple, Mike is found guilty before he can make a deal with Gibbs and as a result spends the rest of his life in prison leaving Harvey, Louis, Jessica, Donna and Rachel distraight. And Gibbs then starts prosecuting them for being co-conspirators to Mike's crimes.!<
Season 6: >!Mike is able to get out of prison, but unfortunately is stabbed fatally by Frank Gallo before he can be released.!<
Season 7: >!Stanley Gordon's scheme with the former partners is successful, with Harvey and Louis being ousted from the firm in the process.!<
Season 8: >!Harvey resigns from the firm in an attempt to get Hardman to drop the case against him, however he double crosses Harvey and reports him to the Bar, getting him disbarred as a result. !<
Season 9: >!The "One Last Con" plan that the partners had is unsuccessful, and Faye dismantles the entire firm as a result. This results in a similar ending to the series with Harvey and Donna leaving for Seattle, Louis taking on a Judgeship, Alex would return to Bratton Gould and Samantha would likely be disbarred at the request of Faye.!<
I can't fathom the amount of evilness all of these guys had.
Reform Corp runs the prisons, they sell the prisoners to Masterson Construction that builds the prisons in order to enslave them and build more prisons.
On top of all that, they make them kill each other for rewards, even kill a guard that they employ.
And to add to all that, the lawyer of these 2 corporations was in on all of this, and he takes the evilness a notch higher and implicates a father (Alex) who is his goddamn partner.
All in all very disturbing people who are worse than the devil himself. But on the outside they look normal day to day people.
You know what's the worst part? Is that I'm sure a very similar story happens in real life. Slavery in disguise.
Any lawyers meet their SOs through work too? Everyone on this show is so neatly paired up with a coworker almost so I got curious even though I know it’s just a show!
So, I'm starting the show and I'm on episode 3. So far, I'm liking it BUT I'm pretty sure that the writers want to make Rachel and Mike one of the main couples but I just can't feel it like... I'm a fond of banter relationship (I kinda have one myself with someone) but weirdly enough, I find it too much in their case. I know I'm just in episode 3 but usually, those kind of relationship work on me immediatly .
What do you think ?
So....is this the suits spin-off 🤣🤣🤣 Nice to see Patrick still acting though
only included the ones i found interesting, so feel free to add more info <3
i'm on season 8 and like donna (hehe) i sensed that something will kind of happen between them so i spoiled myself cause i didn't like where it was going and even though they didn't push through, still, EW???? they normalized cheating so much in this show lmao
I just watched this episode (I’m a first time watcher) and I think this episode is one of the best episodes I’ve seen. I loved seeing bits of their pasts, the flashbacks and everything. I think seeing their vulnerable parts, all of the emotions and stuff contributed to the show. Them being under a concerning threat and Harvey sacrificing for the firm… It was a really good ep. except for the ending which was a bit unpleasant and heartbreaking. I’ll see what comes next. Also, great acting as always. Overall 10/10
Title
I know being mad at them is going to happen very often. S3E2. So lets see the situation: Louis is given the opportunity of having his own associate and he of course wants Mike. He gets Harvey "permission" (As Harvey wants NOTHING with Mike at this point of the series). Mike is skeptic at first, but eventually, same as on previous seasons, he ends up liking working with Louis. Mike accepts Louis offer. Louis goes to get a gift for Mike l, to celebrate that they will be working together. MIKE GOES BACK WITH HARVEY JUST AFTER ACCEPTING BEING LOUIS ASSOCIATE. Louis deserves better. He really does.
Edit: Sorry for the formatting. Mobile reddit.
It's so funny at times how everything in the show is discussed on papers, Harvey literally shares news of Alicia Hardman dying to Jessica by giving her a piece of paper, I mean he could have just used words.
Was on spotify listening to music when I saw this as the poster for one of the spotify playlists, I believe these are automatically curated.
I’m rewatching Suits and I noticed this the first time but I didn’t realise how much it happened. They’ll be stuck on a case and completely out of options then someone says something like “I wish I could just go back in time” and Harvey and Mike will be like “That’s it! Back in time, now we’ve solved the whole case and sent a whole company to prison”.
It happens almost every episode but like what would you do if you didn’t have a conversation with this person at this exact time? Would you just lose every case? I know the whole show’s unrealistic but this happens wayyy too much.
(Sorry if this has been discussed, I just joined this)
I've rewatched Suits so many times, but I just noticed a small writing mistake in Season 1 Episode 3! Harvey introduces Robert Stensland to Mike and tests Mike's knowledge of the corporate lease to prove McKernon Motors is in good hands. Mike seems confused at first, but only when Harvey mentions Glendon Enterprises can he confidently answer Stensland's questions. However, when Stensland asks 'Who signed the lease?', Mike correctly answers 'You did'... which is weird because Mike already knew Stensland and the lease! Not many leases would have Robert Stensland as the signing authority, so it's unlikely Mike would be confused in the start of the inquisition. Just a small nitpick from a dedicated fan!
It's weird now that m watching gangs of London and seeing ava hesington as Marian Wallace . She's still a rich dodgy British business women so not much has changed
I’m on season 2 and I feel like there are a lot of things that should be changed.
1- weed should be replaced with cocaine They were making a bigger deal about weed as if it was cocaine, the sting, the addiction , etc.
2- Mike Ross should have been bisexual or gay towards Harvey. I want them to explore that storyline.
3- Mike Ross could have been a girl.
I cannot stand him. He’s like 50% of what’s wrong with religion. He is so close minded to the point of being almost sadistic at times. He gives Mike so much shit about not being honest and then lies to manipulate him in to a job. He says terrible things to him throughout his childhood, and always assumes the worst. He is so terribly smug and has such a gross holier-than-thou attitude. I don’t see why Mike trusts him at all
…..
Just finished my binge and Viva La Vida is still playing in my head. I thought it was a well-done finale! A few thoughts:
Mike Ross's appearances this season showed that the show works better without him. Honestly. I like the actual cases and the other characters much more than I liked him.
Rachel not coming back for Louis's wedding was dumb if Mike was there.
Faye not backing down was great. I love Harvey and the gang, but they were absolutely wrong every Goddamn time and needed to get got.
Katrina and Alex deserved a better law firm than Litt and the bunch.
I would watch a Samantha spinoff.
Donna became absolutely useless by this season.
Where was Gretchen? She deserved at least a final shot. She was my favorite addition to the show.
what do i do now? i will probably rewatch ion know what else would i watch
Just started watching, and I enjoy it. But, two things bug me a little:
The way they treat weed like it's crack cocaine. The gravity with which Mike bought a baggie from the coffee guy when his grandmother died like he's about to throw his life away SENT me.
How insanely attractive every single person is. Lawyers, clients, friends, secretaries, you name it: Everyone is a model. Every time Harvey has to go up against a female lawyer she's like the most beautiful person you've ever seen.
Mike takes a blow to the head in a freak accident on the wharf in Seattle. No one witnesses the incident. Mike wakes up on a boat, or hospital, in Vancouver. Discovers he cannot remember a thing about the past but finds he can remember every word, face, etc. since waking up. Takes a job on a fishing boat since he believes that must have been his profession and hopes to trigger some memories. But he finds more fulfillment reading and seems to understand everything he studies. Boat captain gets in trouble of some sort and enlists Mike to help him with some legal mumbo jumbo. Success! Mike takes off to find himself. Every episode, Mike's helping someone different while continuing his journey to rediscovering his identity.
I’m new to this series, and late, but I need answers because this seems so silly. Is Harvey going to improve from here? because he’s definitely regressing backwards.
Hardman said they can’t trust each other—and he’s right, but mainly because Harvey is suddenly stupid. He only cares about himself, which is the primary reason why he’s trying to ruin this merger (which would get his name on the door and benefit the company). Thus, Jessica literally doesn’t trust him—because he’s acting opposite to the company’s interest.
I’m wondering if I missed something because logical, loyal characters suddenly seem like they’re trying to ruin their own careers and lives.
Dana deceived Harvey abt the company merger—bc her boss told her to, then told him the truth asap, and he got mad. Dana is trying to HELP Harvey, and he’s mad she’s trying to help him (the merger is objectively a good thing).
And now Harvey is trying to ruin the merger??? I could understand if Edward Darby was like Daniel Hardman 2.0, but he isn’t—he’s literally the opposite. He seems like a great dude.
But what really gets me is Donna telling Dana to walk away from the merger, from doing the same that benefits Dona and BOTH companies the most—just to soothe Harvey’s ego. As Donna says, to make a “Sacrifice”.
This sacrifice leads to Dana betraying her boss, getting fired, rehired, and nearly ruining her career… all just to make sure Harvey knows she loves him.
Literally no one won from this. The merger happens anyways, and Jessica confirms that Harvey is too full of himself to be trusted.
Why?? Harvey welcomes the dude in without a hard blink. No one gets punished. What is WRONG with Mike Ross?? Pick a side, pick a girl, stick to it.
No one seems to get punished for their actions in this series, and no one seems to have any remorse.
Louis is my favorite character, mainly because he seems to be genuinely sorry—despite being the only person who’s been genuinely wronged. If I were him, I’d be so petty. And yet, he too was never punished for his betrayal (though it was arguably deserved). Idk. Does this series get better?
