Did you guys see the NLCS Game 3 intro? Narrated by Jerry with Lindor saying the legendary Bania phrase 🤩
Francisco Lindor(Mets star player) dropped a “that’s gold, Jerry!” line.
Is the depiction of New Yorkers (Rude, Inconsiderate, Impatient, etc.) in Seinfeld and accurate reflection of New Yorkers at that time?
“Two races of flavor living side by side in harmony. It's a wonderful thing, isn't it?”
I know he can be seen wearing Jerry’s leather more than a few times. Before and after this one came into the mix. I also recall seeing this jacket another time but I forget where and when…. One of the biggest reasons I am the way I am when it comes to this show, is the fact they do this kind of thing. They will pay attention to continuity down to the minor details. Not even making a reference to it—that’s when I like it most.
But the other thing I’ve come to notice—jackets are a MAKOR recurring subject in this show. Think of how many plot points involve jackets in this show, whether it’s the Main plot or the B plot or a subplot that spans multiple seasons like Kramer’s Kavorka jacket.
Suits, shirts, and dresses are another. I know it’s pretty much boiling down to clothing but, not to much. There are SPECIFIC items, jackets being the biggest recurring plot point or device, second would be shirts/sweaters, and dresses third, suits fourth. I would put shoes in there too for honorable mention.
Honestly. Why don't people be dip for dinner?
Hi guys. Wondering if we can compile a list of "would you rather" situations in our favorite show.
On top of my head I can remember
Would you rather be liked and ugly or hated and good-looking?
If you were abducted by alies, would you rather be in the zoo or the circus?
For sure we can compile many more.
Btw, I would go with good-looking and the circus :)
Which character, who did not testify in the finale, should have due to a legitimate grievance? My vote would be Jason Hanke (James Spader). He apologized to George when he did not have to. George should have accepted the apology and moved on instead of continually harassing Hanke and driving him back to drinking.
How good of a Dad would Cosmo be? Why was he so excited for this man-made prison?
…the smoke irritated me so much the beer went down my windpipe, dropped the cigarette and it singed my shirt and I wound up having a coughing fit, much to the amusement of my friends.
Here’s to feeling good all the time!
I’ve been discussing Seinfeld with friends lately, we’ve been talking about the different character dynamics and the way characters change during the show eg I feel like Elaine is way more short tempered in the later seasons and later on the episodes don’t start with Jerry doing a stand up bit. What are some other things that change as Seinfeld goes on?
