She did give only them their plates before anyone else...
Just seeing just joy when being included when they were seeing what Stanley would and would not notice.
Yes sure it all ended well but Jim was a terrible person for leading her on the way he did. Even if everything worked out in the end for them both Karen had it ten times worse than what him or Pam had to go through. Pam trying to break them up ( the beach declarations etc) especially pisses me off because sure Jim did the exact same thing when she was with Roy but the big difference is Roy was an idiot who didn’t actually support her whereas Karen was arguably the perfect girlfriend even being willing to move to New York with him if he got the corporate job. Sure Pam and Jim were nice to see as a couple but for that to happen both of them did terrible things to others.
“WHOA! MY STUFF!!!” 🤣🤣 It’s the way she screams it idk🤣🤣 I die laughing every time. She sounds so different lmfao😂 idk why it’s so funny to me I rewind it just to hear it again😭
I searched the sub and am so surprised no one has talked about the Cathy and Jim dynamic after the sueprfan release of season 8! Spoilers-ish below if you haven't watched the superfan edits:
I feel like with the deleted scenes and in context it is very clear that there was never anything going on there! Yet I have seen so many arguments of how inappropriate Jim acted over the years (especially for the Tallahassee bits). He literally tells pam that she (cathy) won't leave his room and she makes fun of the situation. I can see why they edited out this plotline but at the same time why?? Lol
I know that those with the DVDs already know this, but can we please absolve Jim of the naysaying and admit that the network just wanted there to be drama between Jim and Pam to add zest?
It's annoying but likely true - and now I really want to see the superfan for season 9 to see the boom mic guy plotline again, since it was included for a similar reason
Would love some discourse on this in here and want to see others' opinions!! Let's dish, friends
I know it’s fiction but I’ve always been curious about this. I feel like he gives enough information about his past and his actions speak for themselves.
Why we’re at it, do you think any other characters have a certain dx? To me, seems like Dwight is autistic, and when he has that conversation with Toby about trains I started to think he might be too. Super stereotype! (I’m on the spectrum too so I relate to a lot of these characters but I’m no professional)
Hey guys i need your help please! My sister is a BIG fan of the office and she LOVES michael he's her favorite so it's her birthday and i wanted to send her a video of michael singing happy birthday but all i could find is two videos, one is him singing to creed (which i was intending on sending this one but I didnt like that he said creed) and the second one is him calling jan to tell her it's his birthday (the one linked) which is funny and thought she might like it more since it shows michael'a personality. What do you think guys? Thanks!
I was asked to give a presentation in class (management course), which I'll show a scene from a TV show that one of the characters faces a management dillema. I really want to do it about The Office, and I'll be glad if someone could write down related scenes. Thank you in advance!
Yes all humans are prone to mistakes... but some of these characters were just pure slime.
Management: Michael: toby harassment, adulterer with dave and busters chick
Dangelo: not enough time to tell, but he was accused of sexism, and favortisim
Robert: winners and losers list, kills Sabre store and almost makes Dwight take the fall
Jan: dinner party
Charles: kicks soccer ball full force and hurts a person, then blames jim. His treatment of Jim was targeted as well.
David: splits up Holly and Michael. Refuses to respect Michael which causes Michael to quit.
Sales: Andy: also manager, but as a salesman he tried to sabotage Dwights job
Stanley: adulterer. Threatens michaels job during the fake termination
Phyllis: threatens others with violence, also hapily has husband beat people up
Dwight: adulterer. Fire safety demonstration. Tries to get Jim fired because he is jealous he is a manager
Jim: Dwight treatment. Uses females as rebounders
Pam: Dwight harassment. Hypocrite when she was happy Michael was dating an employees mother until she found out it was hers.
Ryan: manipulation of Kelly. Power hungry VP role. Fraudster
Annex Kelly: the typical mean girl to other girls. Also used Daryl to make ryan jealous. Didn't she abandoned her son in the final episode?
Toby: he's the Scranton strangler. Jk. But he does not do his job. He could have stopped Jim's harassment of Dwight but chose to ignore it. Also creeper towards pam and nellie
Accounting Angela: sleeping with 2 men at once. Earlier seasons she was cruel to other employees
Oscar: adulterer.
Kevin: feet into ice machine. Tries to make Pam lactate. Stares at Jan breastfeeding. Overall he is just a dufus, but nothing that really screams "awful person"
Others Creed: no comment
Meredith: a crude person that has conflicts of intrest for steak haha. Probably one of the better people as an employee. That is impressive based off of her trashy personal life
Kelly (Erin is her middle name): honestly I have forgotten most of the last few seasons, but did she ever do anyone wrong? One could say dumping andy for pete, but andy abandoned her to go sailing. Could she have the most redeeming character arc?
I know there are many other characters. What do you think? Who is the least awful person?
African Americans were your thoughts when you first saw the scene of Nate doing black face? Are you glad they removed the scene?
Again I don't want a political fight, just honest opinions from the community about the scene.
Great idea if the gift is for an eight-year-old kid, not so much if it's for a grown ass adult man.
I have been rewatching the show for the 7th time and i just noticed how well Andy manages the office as the branch manager. I know hes not as lively and funny as michael but HE IS. The way he handles his employees in tense situations by being funny or doing something goofy. Thats exactly how michael was.
I was just watching the episode where andy is fired by Robert California and how andy goes back to david wallace to get a deal with him. This scenario is somewhat very similar to how michael got back his position as the manager. He may have started his own paper company and his efforts may have been more than Andy’s but andy just needed one opportunity.
I just wanted to say they’re both geniuses. Dont mind me, i just wanted to share my thoughts on this because i dont see how not many people talk about how well they both handle the office.
Thanks! Ciao
how is everyone liking the new season???? I didn’t know when it was gonna be out but I saw it the other day and I’m stoked!! this is the closest I can get to watching the show for the first time. it’s awesome. also side note- does anyone else just watch the whole series of the plain office then switch to superfans when that’s over then go back???? my boyfriend thinks I’m crazy for it haha but it’s my comfort show as I’m sure it is most of us here too lmfao
So Michael Scott once said, “I am running a business, and it is a great business. I make great decisions. You guys make good decisions too. But I am always gonna be in charge. Always!”
Then he goes and opens a "Dundie Awards" box to fund the company’s annual Christmas party…
Michael, buddy, we get it, but maybe try using that world-class business mind for actual revenue-generating ideas instead of handing out trophies to people for “Best Mom Jeans” or “Best [Blank] on the Block”??
I think we can all agree, as much as we love him, Michael Scott running the show is the reason Dwight is probably secretly tracking every penny. 😂
What’s the worst (or best?) “Michael Scott business decision” you've seen?
