iCarly is a Nickelodeon sitcom starring Miranda Cosgrove that ran from 2007 to 2012, with a revival now streaming on Paramount+!
iCarly is an American teen sitcom created by Dan Schneider that originally aired on Nickelodeon from September 8, 2007, to November 23, 2012. The series stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Jerry Trainor, and Noah Munck. The series tells the story of Carly Shay, a teenager who creates her own web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson in the apartment loft that she and her older brother Spencer Shay live in. As the web show quickly becomes an internet phenomenon, the youngsters are tasked with balancing their normal teenage lives with the wacky situations their newfound fame lands them in.
In 2021, the series was revived for the streaming platform Paramount+. Set nine years after the events of the original series, Carly Shay has moved back to Seattle, where she shares an apartment with her roommate Harper. Carly's older brother Spencer has become a wealthy artist after accidentally creating a renowned sculpture. Following two divorces and a failed tech start-up, Freddie Benson has moved back to live with his mother, accompanied by his adopted 11-year-old stepdaughter Millicent. When Carly decides to relaunch her iCarly webshow, she receives help from Spencer, Freddie, and her new friends.

As title says, what would you say are Freddie's best episode in each season of the show for both the original and revival?
idk can someone identify this top?? icarly (2021) s3/e3
Plssssss its a very cute top 🥲😭
Remember Steven Carson the guy who cheated on Carly and Tori in Iparty with Victorious. He was a homeschooling guy who switched between Seattle and Los Angeles with his parents because they were amicably divorced. They exposed Steven live on ICarly as punishment for it, whether or not it was the right thing to do is highly debatable but do you think he is redeemable???
People genuinely do change and it would be a shame to see him have to deal with the backlash for his entire life that would be unwarranted and just plain cruel, I know a lot of people love him for his good looks but looks aside, is the character genuinely redeemable. I don't condone cheating, but I doubt you can call him an irredeemable monster because he cheated on him, there are far worse people in society than a cheater. Usually infidelity stems from some unresolved emotional issues or childhood trauma that they went through, plus what they did was like the equivalent of cyberbullying, there are characters like Nevel and him who are punished for their actions yet there were plenty of times when the ICarly girls needed to be punished but never were. What do you guys think??
Honestly Carly, Sam, and Freddie easily could have and should have pressed charges against Mandy for constantly stalking them and called the police on her to have her arrested. Mandy literally followed them everywhere they went, transferred to Ridgeway just to hang out with them all the time despite them being unhappy and annoyed about being around her, kept disrupting their iCarly webcasts, inviting herself into the Shay residence, and most disturbingly, sneaking into the Shay residence in the middle of the night by literally climbing in their window on the 8th floor which is incredibly dangerous. There is also a definite possibility that Mandy was thrown out of the building where Backflesh was playing live on Seattle Beat However, they seemed to hate Mandy far more than they hated Spencer because they originally liked Spencer until they heard his bad drumming abilities, but they hated Mandy the minute they met her.
Also it was later mentioned in an episode of the revival series (which of course was well over a decade later) that Mandy is still an obsessive iCarly fan because Freddie mentions that they should delete any ideas sent by Mandy. The trio didn't have to put up with her there must be some way they could've gotten rid of her sooner.
In your opinion do you think exposing him nationwide was the right thing to do??? I know a lot of people find Steven very attractive but putting that aside he still cheated on his girlfriends. While cheating is obviously wrong, their retribution was probably disproportionate, their actions definitely appeared worse. Plus there were definitely a lot of times in the show that the ICarly girls definitely should have been punished but got off scot-free. Their revenge was basically getting him cyberbullied online for the whole world to see and torment him as they please.
While it is understandable that they felt hurt and betrayed, publicly shaming him online and orchestrating a cyberbullying campaign to ruin his life definitely seems like them going too far. The girls took justice into their own hands in a way that exceeded the harm Steven caused in my opinion. Their online hate campaign could have severe social consequences for Steven for a very long time regarding his relationships and obviously his dating life and obviously his emotional state and really anything that they were indifferent to because they went too far with their revenge.
I realize that their feelings could have clouded their judgment and they felt they could regain their power or dignity by getting revenge on him and they probably legitimately thought it was the only way to get him realize just how seriously wrong cheating is, but they went way too far as I said earlier.
Cheating is hurtful and betrays trust but it does nor justify a huge public shaming campaign to ruin his life, subjecting him to a massive wave of overwhelming online hate. It is one thing to confront someone privately about their wrongdoings but turning it into a big spectacle for the whole world to see is cruel and inhumane and heartless. Plus the intent behind their actions was to ruin his life for their own amusement. That goes far beyond them simply seeking justice or closure, it was about inflicting maximum damage to ruin his life, which they sadistically laughed about live on their webshow too, clearly seeking to cause as much pain as possible exposing him live on their webshow. It was more than just them making him feel bad, it was about them trying to destroy his reputation and make him suffer for life because he cheated on them, clearly seeking revenge not justice.
Just to be clear I in no way support cheating, it is objectively morally wrong. I believe if you are unhappy than you should leave, but there are also deeper psychological reasons why people cheat, usually from some childhood trauma.
It is a crossover of two popular shows created by Dan Schneider where his characters are famously amoral and heartless and toxic to each other, so maybe cruelty like that is expected in his shows.
We could talk all day and night about all the things Sam should have been punished for or called out for but now she suddenly has some morals with Steven drawing the line at cheating when she does way worse than that on the daily. She commits a plethora of crimes daily and regularly engages in violent bullying of every kind yet she never faces any consequences for her actions, and in Dan Schneider shows, everyone behaves exactly like that, which is equally frightening and just looks bad on him, but I digress this is my opinion on the situation with Steven Carson and how they handled his infidelity so what do you guys think????? Please be respectful with your responses in the reply section. Do you think he got what he deserved or do you think the ICarly gang went too far with him????? How would you imagine a show about Steven following his exposure as a cheater nationwide, maybe he is friends with Ryder Daniels and it follows his redemption after the incident. Their live webcast was at midnight so maybe not that many people saw it live, but it will likely still have a significant impact on his life for a while. What do you guys think?????
As title says, what would you say are Sam's best episode in each season of the show?
Here's my top 10 favorite:
"HOW MUCH YOU SPEND ON THESE? SEVEN NINETY FIVE? WHOOP DE DOO!" - Lewbert
"Watch the attitude! I haven't forgotten about Pee On Carl!" - Officer Carl
"You scared of pickles? Scared to walk on the pickle side of town?" - T Bo
"ANYONE can roast beef, but NOBODY can pea soup!" - Spencer Shay
"Whoa, deep voice! Can I feel your Adam's Apple?" - Sam Puckett
"I LOVE pig's milk! I love it right from a pig!" - Gibby
"Don't you like how travel-sized bottles make you feel like a giant? ERR SHAMPOO! ERR MOUTHWASH! ERRR RARRR RERR!" *puts bottle in mouth* - Freddie Benson
"Rhinoceros? No, she made you a hippopotamus!" - Principal Franklin
"How did you KNOW the cottage cheese was on the top shelf?" - Mrs. Briggs
Since it’s confirmed that an iCarly movie in the works, most likely it will pick off at the cliffhanger that made many fans mad, the one where Carly and Spencer mom mom showed up when Carly and Freddie were going to get married, so who do you think would be best or most likely to play the mom, and what do you think she’ll do in the movie
Gibby ssks what king of did you serve at a karma party. Freddie says "just desserts" Is the joke here because it sounds like "justice hurts"?
Because Sam came from a neglecful home
Why is Mrs Benson so overprotective of Freddie?
My theory is Mrs Benson had another child before Freddie, which tragically died. Mrs Benson is traumatized by the child's death, that she treats her next child, Freddie, with too much care, scared that he will also die.
Freddie doesn't know about his dead sibling, because they died long before Freddie was born.
Sorry if this theories already been said before, if it has send me a link to the post :)
In the episode, Carly, Spencer, and Freddie don’t drink when Spencer says “never have I ever been skydiving.” But they went skydiving in the Japan special? Is the a mistake or am I missing something?
Having been checking the show out, I thought it'd be fun to ask about Carly's best episode in each season.
As the title says, what would you all say are Carly's best episodes IN TERMS OF CHARACTER in each season of both the original and revival and why?
Please leave a comment down below and don't be afraid to express opinions.
I know that the first 4 are on DVD, and that the 5th didn't get an official DVD release, likely due to the rising popularity of streaming when the season aired, but is there any possibility of an offical DVD release of Season 5?
Has Nickelodeon expressed any desire to do so? Would they, if enough people were to show interest in it?
GUYS PLEASE HELP
I cannot remember the episode name of a certain scene I'm thinking of. There's a scene where Spencer is in the iCarly studio and he is playing some sort of card game on a table. There was some sort of fan and when it went off, the table (and Spencer) went flying. I've searched youtube up and down but the only thing that pops up is the scene where Spencer gets pushed into the table by the MMA fighter.
After watching a iFight Shelby Marx and a few clips from Victorious, I wonder what it would be like if Jade West fought with Tori Vega's doppelganger, Shelby Marx?

As you all remember, the episode iPity the Nevel ended where after the iCarly gang managed to finally help Nevel earn forgiveness from the little girl he yelled at as well as the general public, Nevel got himself cancelled all over again bcuz he was caught on video yelling at a man in a wheelchair who accidentally backed into him. The episode’s ending made it seem as though Nevel finally became friends with the iCarly gang, especially since he met up with Freddie right before the wheelchair incident happened, so if they were all of a sudden now his friends, why did the iCarly gang all of a sudden decide to offscreen hang him out to dry and not help him get over and earn forgiveness from this incident? My guess is that the iCarly gang realized he hadn’t changed and they didn’t want to go through the same situation all over again, but nonetheless it still feels kinda crappy when you really think about it that they didn’t help him when they now were all of a sudden supposed to be his friends. Not to mention the hypocrisy of how they tolerate Sam and her constant cruelty towards the world but clearly weren’t willing to tolerate a mistake like this.
Got to meet Nathan Kress at Nostalgia con this weekend, and he was pretty cool to chat with.😄
