I just finished rewatching Black Sails on FuboBoxIPTV, and it reminded me how hooked I was from the very first episode. It's such an underrated series! Recently, I’ve been exploring a lot of new shows, but it feels like it’s harder to find that one gem that grabs you right away. Does anyone else feel the same? Always down for recommendations if you’ve got any good ones!
Some of the shows I already watched and loved
The Crown
The Haunting
The Boys
Westworld
Lost
Dark
Alice in Borderlands
Fargo
Band of Brothers is my all time favourite - can't watch the Bastogne ep though where we lose Guarnere and Toye. It absolutely breaks me. But the ep after with Spiers forrest-gumping across enemy lines is brilliant
I know Netflix is infamous for canceling their shows even after cliffhangers, but since these two are animated, they likely cost much less than most of the live action ones. Both got decent reviews, but I’m not sure if they pulled enough views
I just finished watching "Time Cut," and I highly recommend it, especially if you're a fan of sci-fi and time travel. The film offers a thrilling and mind-bending experience that keeps you engaged throughout. The plot intricately weaves together complex timelines and thought-provoking concepts, challenging your perception of time. With its captivating visuals and strong performances, it immerses you in a unique narrative that explores the consequences of altering time. Whether you enjoy puzzles or just want an entertaining watch, "Time Cut" delivers on both fronts. Don't miss out on this intriguing film—it's sure to spark discussions and leave you pondering long after it ends!
Who gave the best / your favorite acting performance in Killing Eve?
Just came on here to discuss new documentary on Netflix - My Wife, My Abuser. Watched it last night…can’t stop thinking about it. Horrific abuse by an absolute vile woman. And she only gets 4 years in prison! Which is really 2 years in British custodial system. Absolute disgrace.
Me and my partner want a horror movie for Halloween and I was wondering if any of the movies on Netflix would fit our likes. We tend to like more thinky horror movies that are less super natural based and more real mental health based.
An example because I probably explained that poorly or didn't use the exact right wording, we really like the babaadook- sorry spoilers- because of how it was a metaphor for mental health issues and how the horror came from seeing the mother slowly losing her sanity and stability and acting out in a more crazed way. Another example, we really like saw because of how, if your smart (Im not at all XD but they are so help me follow along), you can follow the plans and see how it fits together and whats going to happen. A final example being tarot, we liked it because the entire movie was kind spoiled through the tarot reading and if you paid attention to them you could predict what was going to happen and it was really cool seeing it come together like it was said to.
I hope I got the idea across, feel free to ask clarification if I didn't explain something well enough, but do you know any Netflix horror movies that would fit these criteria? Thanks for your time!

I have nothing against romance in shows but I am just so done with on-and-off relationships, miscommunication leading to cheating, killing off love interests (I'm looking at you Veronica Mars) etc.
I would like to watch a witty show, a dark comedy maybe, where there are relationships but they are unproblematic by themselve - Amy and Jake from B99 come to mind. They get together, life throws a lot on them but they are together despite it all and then start a family.
Thanks!
I enjoyed the interview style, use of old footage, special effects, and dark atmosphere of this documentary.
Are you team Carol or team Linda?
Well, my stance on this has always been that this universe is too vast. So, surely we can’t be the only living intelligent beings in it.
More than that, I cannot tell you. I dont know anything with 100% certainty and I leave it at that. Im fine with it.
Linda certainly makes a captivating subject, as Carol originally thought. I dont really see what the motive would be for her to lie? But, people have done far worse for no reason.
Apparently she has sued Netflix recently for defaming her because she thought this would all be presented differently. Hmm, so🤔
Who you believe is up to you. But i think it’s a good pre Halloween or Halloween watch👽
Looking for next show to watch
shows i like :
Mare of Easttown
Black Bird
The Queen's Gambit
The Night Of
Bodies
From
Vikings
Silo
last of us
Chernobyl
The Haunting of Hill House
Ozark
Breaking Bad
what should i watch next i want something to be good from start to end ( dont need to be netflix show)
I'm into sci-fi and shows that make you think and laugh. I loved Breaking Bad, the OA, Severance, Silo, etc. I also like Tim Robinson, John Mulaney, the Daily Show, Ted Lasso. I'm going to be laying around a lot after my surgery and need a bingeable show that checks a few boxes: feel good, no violence/dark negativity, still interesting, funny but not sitcom funny (No How I Met Your Mother, etc). Doesn't have to check all the boxes, per say. Definitely avoiding dark stuff right now though. Thanks in advance!
I have to say, the whole “slaves for the afterlife” thing is pretty fucking dark. I don’t think any other killer has said something that dark before. He didn’t seem as vile as some other killers like Gacy but who has said or done things that dark?
Basically, as the title puts it. I've about 2 months to spend and I'd like to watch shows that are immersive (a la the Walking Dead or the Expanse) with great world-building and also where the relationships between the characters grows over a
Hard to search Netflix without seeing the same dozen titles they promote. I want something with subtitles. Do I need a VPN to get the real stuff? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Like many people I enjoyed David Fincher’s Zodiac film.
I wasn’t sure that I was going to watch this true crime doc, even though I love true crime. I guess because a part of me felt that I got what I needed from the film, and I agreed with the film’s conclusion on who did it.
Then I told myself, ok, even if Ive never been that interested in the zodiac killings, let me give it a shot.
It was actually not bad. We get some new perspective and points of view on everyone’s favorite suspect for the case.
I have to say though…I knew after watching Fincher’s film that someone out there definitely knew more and one day that person would say something. Just a matter of time.
Im glad that Robert Graysmith is alive and able to see it.
I am open to anything except romance and comedy, here are my fav genres:
Thriller | Psychological | Sci-Fi | Fantasy
Couple Fav Shows:
Wentworth | Marvel Runaways | Sense 8 | Queens Gambit | Parks & Rec | The Resident | Anything Narcos
Edit: omg. I did not expect these many replies but I’m so thankful for all the options! Finally I have a list I can curate and I will get to everyone soon :)
Who gave the best / your favorite acting performance in Harry Potter?
J'ai récemment regardé le documentaire sur Netflix et je trouve vraiment ça ouf d'être en relation avec quelqu'un si longtemps sans le rencontrer. Et sa cousine, qui a le temps de créer 60 fake profils ???
I’m looking for something like Heartstopper (Love this one so much), Nobody wants this, Anne with an E, Virgin river, Emily in Paris
I just watched the Monsters series of Ryan Murphy and need something to tone down since those shows really disturbed me somehow
It would great if it has a nice plot as well!
Hello guys, I’m looking for a netflix series. Recently I finished watching Orange county, and i also loved On my block and All American. If u guys know what I’m talking about, I really like adolescence dramas and things like that… I would like to find another show just like the others I mentioned before. Could you help me?
I’ve watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, Adventure Time, My Neighbor is a Cat, Bluey, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe on FuboBoxIPTV with my family, and they were all great! Streaming was smooth, and everyone enjoyed it, but now we’re looking for something new to watch together this weekend. Any recommendations for family-friendly shows that won’t drive me up the wall?
If you haven't watched it yet I highly recommend it. I recognized his face from local news stories here in Norway, as there were some news articles about him after his death because of his thriving online gaming community. Turns out there was a lot more to the story than what they wrote in the news articles. A story that will touch your heart.
Hii, I’m gonna be on a 7 hour flight today and I really need stuff to binge watch on that flight! Can anybody recommend me series/movies based on thriller/horror/fantasy OR more importantly anime series recommendations? I’d appreciate every single one of you!!
Just finished rewatching Peaky Blinders on FireIPTVBox, and it reminded me how captivating it was right from the start. The atmosphere, the characters—it’s such a hidden treasure that deserves more love! Lately, I’ve been exploring a lot of new series, but finding that one show that pulls you in immediately is getting tougher. Anyone else feeling that? I’m always up for recommendations if you’ve got some hidden gems!
Here are a few I’ve already seen and really enjoyed:
Would love to hear your recommendations!
Hi, looking for a binge season to watch with OH. We have previously liked Dexter, Prison Break, Dark, Manifest, The leftovers. Last Kingdom (LOVED this but couldn’t get into Vikings), Wentworth, OITNB) I do prefer psychological thriller type shows but open to anything that’s a decent watch! Have Netflix, Amazon, Disney + and Apple TV. OH has already watched Slow Horses, Fleabag etc! Thank you!
I prefer movies that are true stories, nostalgic, suspenseful mysteries, or have a good twist.
