Hey I've just recently done a full rewatch of Adventure Time and have thought about "Ocarina" (season 6 episode 12) ever since.
I noticed it has a 7.7 rating out of the 10 I gave it, how come people don't get the meaning of this episode?
For the whole time Kim Kil Whan tries to change Jake's way of living into his own, and Jake's is like "nah" showing that forcing someone into a lifestyle isn't always the move!
Jake then crafts an ocarina for Kim Kil Whan, a piece of clay that doesn't even play. It's a half-assed attempt at showing love, but it hits Kim Kil Whan in the feels, making him realize his dad's love is there, and even if Jake's expression of it is different, it doesn't mean it's not there.
It really made me reflect on my relationship with my girlfriend, I've struggled a bit with understanding her way of loving me and tried to change it because I didn't think it was "right", while in fact, she just has another way and is a different person.
I love "Ocarina".
I feel genuinely feel robbed we didn’t get Simon be somewhat of a father figure to Marcy or Finn or someone to go to for reassurance. Pb and Simon would be excellent lab partners talking about history and book worms stuff honestly I can hear a conversation like this pb explaining a subject to Simon and then he says I did a whole lecture on that subject.
I wanna hear your head canons in the comments and conversation on how they would interact
It’s not completely accurate or anything but this was for fun and I really enjoyed drawing it :)
It was for a CRAZY late inktober art assignment Ive been catching up on today.
Found this on instagram
How do I explain that my favorite couple in life literally has no scenes together or anything like that? They don't have interactions, they don't have the people, but they have chemistry.
I hate to think that in ONE EPISODE BEFORE FERN'S FIRST APPEARANCE TIFFANY DISAPPEARS!!!! Man, thinking that following the Butterfly effect, Tiffany is the reason Fern appears for the first time makes me CRAZY! Even more so when I think that in the episode where Sam dies we discover that Tiff is alive!
I live drawing them, writing about them and talking to Tiffany being Fern (Or the opposite) on C.Ai!
I dunno, it has always seemed like a really boring and pointless episode to me.
I hate this plot line for Jake’s character personally. Like really? Blue alien jerk dad? Gross.
Max loved his JtD snap bracelet. He also used to enjoy watching Rin Tin Tin on TV. He died of old age this morning. He was a good dog 😔
