I'm starting to really like these heavy metal folktale type songs, have any recommendations?
Im an artist and Idk if its their voice overs or really well written scripts. But i find my brain to be really inspired and drawn to their content. I hope to find more youtubers like them.
I really like any fiction or story where you can read between the lines to analyze the characters and plot. Ballads are my current “thing” as I love the way the tune sticks in your head so you keep going over the lyrics; however I hugely enjoy books and movies as well.
Favorite song examples:
Two Sisters- Emily Portman, rework of traditional folk song
The Highway Man- Phil Ochs, from a poem by Alfred Noyes)
Father Finlee- Spencer Hood
Thanks in advance!
Yeah yeah yeah I know it’s poser music and whatnot but does anyone know songs like this I really like the depressing yet intense riffs on top of the way chino sings (that’s optional though) but does anyone know anymore songs like this? It can be more deftones songs but I prefer a song(s) not by them
Specificaly how the synthesizers go with the vocals and just sound really nice.
Havent listened to anything elser by mitski bdw.

I'm basically looking for death or black metal albums that have predominantly the type of riffs this song has in the first 2 minutes: dual guitar harmonies, a thin, sharp guitar tone, no tremolo picking or blast beasts, and no rhythm guitar. Thanks in advance!
I want something that’s like the gangster rap from the 80’s that also has a fast beat and lyrics and lots of energy to it.
Mostly for nostalgic reasons but I recently listened to Bridget 2012 album and it is surprisingly good. What are some other family channel stars that actually made good music?
Looking for one song that has such a similar intro to Mary Janes Last Dance, it has a similar chord progression but then has a slight riff at the end before it repeats. Its kind of beachy and slow and docent really have much of a rock structure to it.
Edit: I found the song its Wind & Anchor by The National Parks, must have thought it was more up beat than it is but the intro follows a similar chord progression on acoustic with a little riff.
th
I want some anime style fantasy games, like the two mentioned. Other Zelda games are of course also examples of that, you don't need to recommend them.
Also I want fantasy just like these, in an original world with magic, cool creatures, etc.
Not science fiction, not science fantasy and certainly not urban fantasy.
I'm looking for visual media (tv show, documentary, YouTube video, etc.) related to poetry, poets, their lives, and/or their writing practices—things of that nature.
Fiction and non-fiction are both fine, and I'm particularly into things related to mental illness or with an excess of emotion, especially when that emotion is centered around love and/or sadness.
I hope this post is specific enough, lmao. And thanks in advance!
I found 빗속의 여인 by Jang Hyun/Hyeon yesterday and I want more. Anything similar to the whole album 장현 베스트? The artist doesn't have anything else listed on Spotify. Language doesn't matter I just like the sound.

Tagged TV shows but open to movies too!
Yes, I’ve seen Community. Guessing folks will also suggest Ted Lasso , TGP (for some reason the Kristen Bell show is auto moded here?) and maybe Shrinking (which I’ve also seen.)
looking for funny channels that dub over stuff like the channels i mentioned dub over infomercials among other things.
Any songs with that sort of dreamy chorus that gives a soothing mood? Doesn't just have to be anime, anywhere from the world is fine by me.
To clarify: I love the black ops campaigns (bar 3), but I want a more single player focused experience, such as you might find in games that are NOT FPS titles. I love AC, fallout, older gen console games that focused more on story aspects of games. I’m not sure if I am explaining effectively, but I am currently bored of all the internet/multiplayer focused games of today, and want a more classic, story focused game where I can immerse myself and not have to worry about grinding to the next meta weapon or loadout.
I’ve been asking around and scavenging EVERYWHERE for anything that sounds JUST like this KMFDM album but nothing given to me scratches that itch! :( I NEED help

I really like the documentary type of videos on their channel like the philly streets and san francisco streets ones
Igorrr makes some super unique and creative music. I can't get "ieuD" out of my mind though. It's a mix of like metal with hardcore EDM or something like that. It also has an Opera singer which is super sick but I'm more focused on finding something with the other aspects of the song.
Anyone know anything?
The songs that are in the same vein are:
They convey this sense of awe and significance. Like angels singings but you can't make out what they're saying, just letting their voices fly.
I've been obsessed with this song for the past few months and I can't find a song that hits the same😭 idk how to describe music well, but I love this upbeat blues (I believe...) sound with the sort of idyllic lyrics in the chorus :3 honestly could ignore the lyrics and js give me something close to this instrumentation 😖
So I don't know what to exactly describe what's in the songs that I like here. All I can get is that their heavy songs with semi or fully aggressive raps on them with heavy instrumentals underneath them, The best I can provide is a few example that I like.
Heartbeat - Childish Gambino
New Magic Wand - Tyler, The Creator
Stop Breathing - PlayBoi Carti
Fuckin Problems - A$AP Rocky
Corso - Tyler, The Creator
Distorted Records - A$AP Rocky
The Brown Stains of Darkeese Latifah - Tyler, The Creator
Show of Hands - Future
R.I.P. - Playboi Carti
These are some songs that resemble what I'm looking for. What genre is this exactly? If y'all can, can you recommend artists and songs of the like? This stuff has lowkey been like Crack in a way to me lol. Thanks in advance!
title :)
I actually don't think there's a tempo change in Ode to Sleep, but there is in their song Guns for Hands. I would really love to hear other songs that sound mixed up or maybe a little "all over the place". But really with just interesting changes in the song. Like maybe if you hear two different clips of a song you may be surprised they're from the same song. Thank you very much
I also like Gilmore Girls, Desperate Housewives, and The Fosters, but I’m looking for shows more along the lines of those I listed above.
