Very loud bangs and constant jet noises near by. Anyone else hearing this? Been going on for 15 minutes. Planes still in the area but no more loud bangs
Edit. Some festival tonight and a busy BWI. Thought it was something interesting waking me up. Coffee is going to be great in the morning!
Hello. I was wondering if there were any shops that were best to sell records to. Especially horror soundtracks or classic rock. Anyone have any opinions?
Moving to Centreville and commuting to Severna Park for work. I already know it’s going to be rough in the mornings (specifically 7/7:30am) and probably just as rough in the afternoons (3:30ish) but I just want to know how bad should I be expecting? Longer than an hour? Obviously this all depends on weather, accidents and such but just want to know what to truly expect from someone who does it. Also how frequently is the bridge down/closed? With winter coming I am concerned with closures/delays due to possible snow/rain/wind. Curious how that works? I’m sure it’s not as often as my anxiety is telling me but I know shit happens. What do y’all do for work if that happens? Call out? Brave it? Wait til it’s clear? Sorry if these are all stupid questions just trying to mentally prepare myself for the commute (cries silently thinking about the traffic)
When I lived in Allston there were a few Korean grocery stores where you could buy little deli containers of pre-made banchan— Not just kimchi but also stuff like bracken, spinach, fish cakes, etc. Is there anywhere near Bethesda that offers something similar?
And right across from a Dunkin’ Donuts. Would’ve lost my mind if I was 18 right now :)
hello. i am new here and live in a rowhouse in baltimore. i am looking to craft an awesome backyard in my little corner of pig town. specifically i am thinking of outdoor cooking, moss garden, evergreens. i plan to start collecting clay, terracotta, ceramic pots for herbs and flowers. trying to connect with people for ideas on bringing the woods into the city! anyone else do this? have wisdom, spots, or wares to share/sell? if you have moss on your property i would pay a little to collect it responsibly. also if theres a mushroom/wild herb collecting group in maryland?
I’m from the south and had a hairstylist from Baltimore that would make rude comments about southerners every time I came to get my hair done. She would try to disguise her disrespect as a joke and when I called out the fact that Maryland is technically in the south she acted all surprised like she didn’t even know and said something to the effect of “Maryland is in the middle”. She was shocked when I stopped using her services and as much as she would talk ish about the south she also absolutely HATED Baltimore. Said she would never go back and told me she wouldn’t even recommend a visit. So my question is why do a lot of people from Maryland hate being called southerners even though you’re technically a part of it? Further more why would you move even further south if you really don’t like the region and its way of life. Make it make sense.
as title says I'm curious to what people for career jobs on eastern shore as I'm moving down to that area. Like Salisbury area ocean city. Should I look for remote jobs or what would be the best bet to get into
Currently, visiting MD and I remember there was a really great place to get a chicken box near Aberdeen Proving Ground but for the life of me I can’t remember the name/location. It was a 4 wing and western fry(potato wedge) style. I refuse to go to Royal Farms, any suggestions on where to go?? Need to satisfy the craving.
Looking for houses/streets that go hard for the Christmas season. For context I'm in Elkton but not afraid of a drive. Any places you'd suggest?
I’m looking for recommendations for family lawyers in Maryland who are experienced and also reasonable when it comes to payment options. If anyone has had a positive experience or knows someone reliable, I’d really appreciate the suggestion. Thank you!r
