I’m in the Solaire buildings and heard a super loud plane/helicopter noise for almost a minute (sounded like something wasn’t right with it or there was numerous planes) around 8:50/8:55 pm. Thought we were being invaded as I literally searched “breaking news dc” and “military planes dc” right after.

Did the black hawk fly above us en route toward SW DC? Was it the response team? Just curious cause I can’t imagine hearing the crash from ~8 miles away.

Hey could I get advice on renting at Silver Parc or any recommendations to rent a two bedroom anywhere else ? At the moment I have an MPDU 1 bedroom unit at DTSS and I love it but it seems like the two bedroom mpdu wont ever open so I'm looking into different options since I'm pregnante and will need a second bedroom for my baby.

I want to be frugal so I want to stay between the 1,700 to 1,900, any recommendations?

Is the Parkmobile app tied into the parking meters and they still have meter readers going around to examine the meters?

Okay, I am currently staying in 1200 E West Apts in an MPDU with 4ish months left in my lease. Since I have moved into my apartment, there has been some sort of suds/bubbles coming out of my toilet. I’ve complained to management and submitted maintenance requests, but I’ve been told it’s a building wide plumbing issue and there is little to be done. I NEED to know. Are there any other tenants experiencing this? I’m currently trying to transfer units but they are giving me a hard time. MPDU’s are so hard to come by and I cannot afford to move altogether.

Just trying to watch the football game and all I hear are what sounds like sirens from like a tornado or air raid? What's going on and when will it stop?

I have a car that has transmission issues and it can't move. I need to move it somewhere else temporarily so that it won't get towed while I get the necessary parts. Can anyone here recommend me places that I can put my vehicle without having to worry about being towed or tampered with. (I live in the greater Silver Spring area).
