Pritchett

I just got back from the first-time season ticket member, and went I went into the locker rooms, I saw a white board with training assignments with Pritchett on one of them. Anyone know who he is?

What to expect this year?

Hi all!

I’ve been lurking the sub and spoke to some of you in the past, I’m from Portugal and moved here recently, (big Belenenses fan) and will be going to my first MLS game at the season opener.

(I watched the game against Celtic but that doesn’t really count lol.)

I’m sure lots of you have more insight than me, what are some realistic goals for the year? I have to say I was super surprised with the signing of Kim Joon Hong, he was referred by a couple of European times but chose DCU.

Hope we get a dub against Toronto!

Away Match at San Jose - Left Coast Legion

Any DC transplants here in the SF Bay Area want to get together at Paypal Park to cheer on DC united in San Jose on April 6? https://www.facebook.com/groups/DCUCA/permalink/8821050638021012/

I spoke to San Jose Earthquakes Front Office - If we get 10+ people - tickets will be $30 each in Section 134. The FO rep I spoke to is a former DCU FO person who moved to CA recently. DCU Supporters and @Left Coast Legion - Please let me know if you are interested.

[Eliot McKinley] With a little more than 3 weeks until MLS is back, rosters are almost set. Portland leads the league returning 96% of minutes played for 2025 from 2024. The Revs at 37% are fewest returning minutes from the previous season since I started tracking these prior to the 2019 season.

Content Related

RFK Refugees mentioned this on their podcast releases today but does anyone know what is up with the lack of content DC United produces? They rarely produce anything and have a very lack of presence on Instagram or YouTube when introducing new players. I know we’re a month away from the season but there is little hype even coming from the organization.

First DC United Game

Hello all, my friends and I (6 of us total) are going to dc for the first time without parents (we just turned 18) next month for DC united’s home opener. We’re really excited but I have some questions for people that live in the area. We will be driving to college park and taking the green line in, where would be the best spot to hit along the way for an english/irish pub? Also are tickets going to sell out soon or do we have time to buy them, also any advice for us is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

European MLS fans lookin for help :)

hi, I’m a representative of AmerykańskaPiłka, a Polish portal dedicated to USMNT and MLS (our site is https://www.facebook.com/amerykanskapilka). Every year, we publish a MLS guide, and this year it will be printed again. We've added a new theme to this year’s guide because our plan is to interview passionate fans from each team about topics like matchday traditions, away days, tips on how to enjoy a match to the fullest, and include this in the guide. If we gather enough content, it will also be featured on the guide and our website. Here are the questions we’re asking:

  1. What does matchday mean to you, which match are you most excited for, and what’s your best memory from away games?
  2. what do the team colors mean to you, your experiences, traditions, how long you've been a fan, and when did you join the supporters' club?
  3. Practical tips for European fans—what’s a typical matchday like, how to get to the stadium, where to stay, when to arrive, how to find the supporters' section, where to eat and drink, any specific spots where fans gather, is there a pub/bar, and what are the must-see places in the area around the stadium?
  4. Is there any other sports team in the city worth checking out when we come for an MLS game?
  5. Do you have a dedicated fan shop—does it exist at the stadium? Is it possible to tour the stadium? Is there a club museum?
  6. Are there different supporters’ groups? If so, can you share a little bit about what makes each one unique?
  7. Any special tips for newcomers? Which opponents should we go see, and which ones might not be as exciting? What are the prices for different matches?
  8. Is there a chance to see how the supporters' groups prepare their tifo or banners?
  9. If you have any other ideas, I'd love to learn something new

Where can I watch old finals of the MLS cup and Open cup?

I want to rewatch old matches and finals, the one I have in mind is the 2004 MLS cup final between DC United and Kansas City. I hate not being able to watch these outside of like a 7 minute long highlights video. Feels like some good team history I’d like to relive.

Usually I’d have to wait for these videos to get uploaded to YouTube but like I don’t want to wait years hoping the DC United YouTube channel will one day decide to let this one be free.
