Can students take classes from one core more than once? I need to take a few electives next semester but I’ve already fulfilled a lot of my cores so I’m confused on what to do. I emailed my advisor and I’m waiting for him to get back to me.
In other news, Towson also beat Hampton. Good job Associated Press (or the AI they had write this).
I was at a frat party last night and this guy kept talking to me about the “Towson Toucher”. He told me that there’s this 6 ft tall blonde white dude who goes around campus at night and “touches” people…whatever that entails. He added that it wasn’t even freaky touching, more like he tickles you then bolts. Is this true? Just wanna know if I was being trolled or not haha.
I’m a bit confused about fulfilling my core requirements. This is probably a dumb question..i'm a freshman so this is all pretty new to me.
In my academic requirements page, I see requirements listed by core topics, such as Core (5) Arts and Humanities (G1670) and Core (6) Social and Behavioral Sciences (G1671). However, I’m not sure how to identify which classes are affiliated with each of these core areas.
Im looking to take WELLNESS FOR A DIVERSE SOCIETY | HLTH 101 which is an online course, but how do I know that this course will fulfill one of my cores?
I’m graduating next spring, and want to do a career pivot due to an employment offer.
I want to get a second degree in business management, but I apparently need some classes before I can even be admitted to the major, itself. I called around and they said I have to reapply through the common app as a ‘pre-business’ major, and unless I’m illiterate, I don’t see that as an option. I only see business major degrees with concentrations.
How do I properly apply?
Hey! If anyone took Math 231 could you tell me if you need a graphing calculator for the class? It’s my only math class that I have to take and I don’t want to spend extra money buying a new calculator just for 1 class. Thanks
I'm just finishing my transfer application to Towson (Spring Semester) but I'm a little worried about it. I'm coming from Full Sail University as a Music Production Major. I'm pretty sure it's an accredited school but I know that some schools are weird about it. I have a 3.4 GPA from the school and solid A/B grades throughout the semesters I went through. I've also heard that Towson is lenient with transfers and I have a letter of recommendation from a Towson Alum. Could anyone give me a rough idea on the chances of me getting into the school? If you need more info just comment and I'll elaborate.
Hi I was wondering if i were to request a end of semester roommate change will it inform my roommate? Thank you!
As a junior in high-school I took Pre-calc, but then chose to take statistics in Senior year, With my ALEKS score I can take Pre-calc, but its been a while since I have fully went into calc and I'm wondering if I should just take college algebra (MATH-155) and trig(MATH-117) to fully prep for calc or just jump into pre calc.
(I'm a Cs major who needs to do calc I and calc II)
Does anyone know good places to go to get your car a good paint job? I’m thinking between a nice orange and are they expensive or what are the prices like?
Just finished my Bachelors in CS from Towson and was wondering about doing PhD Information Technology with a track in CS. Wanted to see if someone who did the program or is doing it could share some of their experience? Thanks
Let’s go boys, first game was great effort against a top 40 team nationally. Let’s destroy Penn tonight 🔥🔥

Registering for classes next semester and trying to fill core 11 and it sounds interesting but 200 level makes me a bit nervous. Think ik the music well but if it requires a bunch of essays or understanding of how to make music then I’ll pass.
Looking for a gym buddy either on or off campus
I’m new here and I’m in need of a good mechanic

Anyone have any recommendations regarding volunteer work in Towson?
Im looking for receivers to throw routes to and willing to pay $15 per hour. Graduated a couple years ago from umd and my friends dont play football so its hard to find people to throw to hence the 15/hr.
Hello everyone, I’m a junior at Towson and been struggling to make friends since I live off campus, I like playing video games and also watch anime. Love playing soccer and pool. Message me or comment if you just wanna chat or be friends.
Hey everyone,
I’ve found some classes for my next semester and have a question about my schedule. I noticed that my CIS 377 and COSC 237 classes seem to overlap on Wednesdays. However, CIS 377 has asynchronous online sessions on Wednesdays.
Does this mean the classes will really overlap? Can I still take both courses without any issues? Will the system let me register for both courses without giving me an error message?
Is anyone throwing anything tonight? My bestfriend and I two juniors have been looking for something to go to for Halloween and don’t want to go to like bars so if anyone has anything lmk :))
Is this a health hazard?
Hello, I'm currently at a small liberal arts college out of state and im suffering- so i was thinking of trying to transfer into Towson for this spring.
My problem is that i wouldn't have a letter of recommendation and would only really have three courses to count as credits. Do i have a chance? What should i do
Can some one explain to me how one card works I’m transferring next semester and I also would like to know the difference between dinning dollars and 100 all access tiger meals on the block plan
Who are the best professors to take for math 115? Also which sections of math 115 are online? Any help is appreciated
