Hi all. My family and I were wondering if anyone knows what happened to Peeglies? We were driving by where it used to be and the windows were covered up and the sign was gone. Seemed to be doing fine business wise when we went. Always at least one other person popping in to grab an order. Tried to look up if anything was posted on their website and that was gone too. Can't seem to find anything about it online either... very strange. If anyone has suggestions for local take out places please let me know...

We moved to Severna Park in January and had to find daycare last minute for our then 6 month old. We ended up at Guidepost and we love it, but we're thinking of having another baby and are not sure we can afford it. We like the big center model, and are curious if other options may be cheaper.
Does anyone go to Celebree/KinderCare/Kiddie Academy/Goddard School or a local bigger center that could share your experience and cost per week or month for full-time for a one year old? And if the tuition decreases once they turn two?
Thanks!
My family is newish to the area and would like to try some new places out. So far weve really liked Tai Chi and Gary's Grill for a sit down place as well as Thai Paradise and Peeglies for take out takeout. Any recommendations would be great. No dietary restrictions. Thanks.
I've been looking at the schools to enroll my daughter in, she's a rising 8th grader and currently in her schools honor program. I've heard good things about Indian Creek but, I'm wondering if the public middle school is a place to consider. Thanks for any and all help.
Moved here about 2 weeks ago. Have yet to find a single dog park... hoping someone can point me in the right direction... my dogs would appreciate a nice place to run around. Thanks
Hey everyone! My family and I are moving to Severna Park from PA.
Just wanted to ask for some insight/advice on typical things and anything else you can think of.
Cable/wifi companies, gas and water companies in the area, daycares and preschools, parks and playgrounds.
Hey Parents!
Summer break is coming up soon for most kids and they're probably going to be looking for something to do. If that's the case, then a small business called Warriors of Grace Karate in Severn, MD is having a Karate Camp all summer! No karate experience needed! They have two different options for camp: Weeklong and Friday only.
Your kiddos must bring a lunch Monday-Thursday, but a Chick-fil-a lunch is provided on Friday. Also on Friday will be a water balloon fight and popsicles.
Each week of camp will have a different theme with games and activities to match! See the flyer above for more information and check out this link: https://www.warriorsofgracekarate.com/book- online
Have a great summer ☀️!

Hello all,
I just moved back to Maryland and will be on Medicaid here. I wanted to ask which MCOs you guys think are best, as there seems to be little information about how they compare to each other in terms of lab test coverage and doctor networks .
In particular, I will be trying to do a variety of less common/frequently ordered lab tests, such as special tests for vitamin and mineral deficiencies. I know that getting coverage for these may be difficult, but I would like to choose a MCO that covers (or will make an exception to give me 1 time coverage for) as many less common lab tests as possible. I don't know if such coverage is actually different between the MCOs at all, but I just figured I'd ask.
In addition, I was wondering which MCO you guys think has the biggest and best networks of doctors. I strongly prefer to see younger doctors as I've found them to be more helpful for my complex health issues. So though I live in Annapolis, I'm planning to mainly go to Glen Burnie, Pasadena, and/or Montgomery County, as it seems there are lots of younger doctors in those areas. However, I'll also need to see a variety of specialists, so where I go for that will of course depend on where the specialists' offices are.
So far, I'm strongly considering either Wellpoint (formerly known as Amerigroup Community Care) or CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield Maryland Community Health Plan (formerly known as University of Maryland Health partners), as a doctor I'm considering seeing only accepts those two. However, I'm also considering Priority Partners, Maryland Physicians Care, United, and Aetna. Any reports on any of these would be great.
Anyway, so I know this a bit long, but to summarize, I would love if people can share what MCOs they think are best, either in general or for my goals. In particular, I'd love to know if anyone knows how Wellpoint (/Amerigroup) and/or Carefirst BCBS CHP (/UMD) are. Thanks so much.

My can is really heavy this time. Some is water I'm sure. I tried to pour it all out but this can hasn't been moved to street for a week and is heavy. Should I just put a five in the can for the extra effort?
Adult cigarette smokers age 18-65 years old are needed to take part in a research study at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
We are seeking current cigarette smokers who are thinking about quitting. Participants will be paid up to $615 for study completion. The study involves taking cannabidiol (CBD) in different doses over the course of 6 weeks while completing brief practice quit attempts. There is also a separate 2-3 hour screening visit to determine eligibility.
