I'm relocating soon, from the Philadelphia metro area. I like the outdoors, kayaking, paddle boarding, cycling and napping in my backyard hammock. I'm a young-ish empty nester and will be commuting to DC and NOVA two days per week. I've had a hellish commute for 20 years and don't mind driving - if it's worth it. I recently wandered around Deale and am considering moving there. I understand Deale doesn't have a lot of amenities. I'm not interested in great restaurants or bars but would love to have peace and outdoor fun along with reasonably close health care facilities should I ever need them. I did a search on "Deale" through this thread and I see "best breakfast, best coffee, best outdoor seating restaurants". It seems like AAC likes Deale! Can any of you offer your impressions on Deale? Or your experiences there? Thank you in advance!

So Hogan just straight up won the county and Trump got like 40% of the county. I am surprised how this happens considering that it is generally an urban county and does not seem possible. What are the liberal, moderate, and conservative areas of AA county? I am just curious and want to know. I go to AA county pretty often, so this will help me get a sense of the vibe and voting.

We went to Lewnes and had quite possibly the best meal we’ve had in Annapolis ever but I had a strange to me situation with the cocktails. When it was time to order, I asked for one but to use gin instead of vodka, and the waiter let me know that it wasn’t possible due to the drinks being made in premixed batches. To my knowledge, I’ve never been to a restaurant (let alone such a nice one) who hasn’t been making the cocktails to order and allowed a substitution etc (even if it cost more to sub). Is this normal/common? I remember walking past the full bar when we walked in and there was a bartender.
