Any collectors in the area?
I’m looking to hire someone to do a deep clean of my house when I move out. Does anyone know of any good house cleaners in the area?
Hey I wrote a travel blog using only google maps about Cumberland, would love to hear what you think.
I'm getting married and honeymooning in January in Cumberland! My fiance and I are completely unfamiliar with the area and would love some suggestions on things to do, restaurants, a good place to get flowers/small cake, and locations for our wedding photos. We're planning on going to the roller rink and hitting Curtis' Coney Island for our wedding night.
Hi all. I might be interviewing for a job in Cumberland soon and was looking for advice about living there or places nearby where people live and commute to Cumberland. Any advice is helpful. Thank you!
I would like to visit to see the new downtown. Any recommendations? I would like to take a small scenic walk and get food. Maybe shop or some landmarks. Any recommendations? We are not picky.
I have short curly hair and everyone always fucks it up even though it's not even that curly. Is anyone around here good with that
Mid-Atlantic? Appalachia? Something else? All of the above? I’m an outsider trying to learn more about the geography of the United States.
I'm not a local, but I've traveled through most of the US. I'm wanting to settle down and start investing in a home; when I look at pricing, cumberland is second to none. I know there has to be so much more I'm failing to understand. Any advice for what locations would best suit for accommodating, affordable housing? I'm out of state presently and unable to view properties. I notice a lot of the attainable properties seem dilapidated on a good day. What is your opinion of cumberland versus other towns in Maryland?
Just wondering, hopefully there is. So I don't feel lonely in this tiny town
Would be better if you are a suiter. Lol
Hello,
I will be visiting Frostburg/Cumberland for the rail bike tour this weekend with my younger toddlers ages 5 and 7. We're wondering if there's any local spots or recommendations to keep them entertained after we finish rail biking. Any farms in the area with pick your own?
Thank you!
Looking for recommendations for a place offering Thanksgiving catering. We are renting a place nearby for a family gathering and it would be nice to not spend all day cooking and cleaning up after.
Looking to relocate somewhere cheaper from Florida. I live in a high crime area already, was the murder capital of Florida for a few years recently. Grew up in Wisconsin so not a stranger to cold winters. I work 100% remote, but need to be closer to the office in DC for periodic in person meetings. My options due to work restrictions is PA, MD, or VA. I heard good things about Cumberland through my post on r/samegrassbutgreener. Is the crime rate high, in terms of random crimes? Or does it stay within drug circles and drunken brawls?
I put in for a bear tag and just to be prepared I’m trying to figure out places to hunt. It looks like savage mountain, dans mountain, warrior mountain, and Frederick city watershed are all popular places. I’ve heard clear spring area and Indian Springs WMA holds a decent amount of bear too. Any other recommendations? I’m in the Hagerstown area. Ideally I’ll find someone who has private land and a bear damage problem.
Looking for attentive, responsive ,reliable insurance agent in Cumberland, MD. Any outstanding ones? Ones to avoid?
Hello! I am looking for a small office space to rent. It can be an office, apartment or a private room. I will need my own dedicated high speed internet service. If you have something I can rent or know of something I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
I'm planning on getting my driver's license soon and was wondering if anyone had done so before at the Cumberland MVA and had some insight on the public portion of the test. Other MVAs have routes posted on YouTube so I was curious if there was any information like that out there!
