I moved to this area about 6 months ago, and there's this occasional loud engine revving and exhaust noise late at night. Several vehicles usually, maybe doing some burn outs & racing. It seems to occur a few nights a week, usually after 11pm sometimes as late as 3am.

My haphazard guess based on where I am hearing it is that it is near Route 1 & Charles Armentrout, or maybe further south in Brentwood?

Anyone know where these cars are revving their engines? Its really disrupting my sleep, and it is truly redneck asshole behavior. I wanna make it clear to the local police and PG county cops that this needs to stop.

I’ve been seeing a lot of condo units coming up for sale off of Riggs Road, Edwards Way and Metzerott. I just looked at the HOA fees and woah…$700/month?! Does anyone have any experience/insight into Racquet Club and any of the other condos along Edwards Way, Metzerott Rd or Riggs Rd?

Good afternoon all. There are a LOT of feral and stray cats that hang out on my street in the Queens Chapel Manor neighborhood in Hyattsville. Many of my neighbors and I provide these cats with food and outdoor shelter to help them live happy lives, but very few of them are ear tipped, which means most of them probably haven't been trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned (TNR'd/ TNVR'd)

Looking for recommendations for organizations in or near Hyattsville that offer spaying/neutering and vaccination services for stray cats (I plan to do the trapping myself (after coordinating with my neighbors of course)). There is this list from the PG County Cat Alliance website, but none of the listed organizations appear serve Hyattsville zip codes. I'm sure these organizations wouldn't turn me away simply for being from the wrong zip code, but I'm wondering whether anyone knows of any locations a little closer to home
