After moving from moco and living in college park for the past 3 years. I’d have to say college park is pretty boring. Not much to do here. In terms of restaurants there isn’t much in this city. Things to do, well you got lake artemesia. If your filling brave can go to the Greenbelt mall which by the way recently had a shooting and is always filled with crazy hobos or a bunch of young hooligans. I guess you can drive to the mall in Hyattsville but is that any more safer? I find myself driving back to moco or dc to do things. Even Frederick. At least we got a green turtle now and looking forward to shake shack opening

Glad Greene Turtle is open and doing great business. Any updates on timing of Honey Pig, Shake Shack, Chopt, Banditos?

P.S. I’ve tried biryani city before- its descent, anything better and more authentic will do.
Thanks :)
The city just hired a second animal control unit. I’m wondering if this is a widespread issue or if you’ve had any experience with animal control: https://dbknews.com/2024/10/24/college-park-city-council-animal-control-officer/
