I received a letter from WGL Energy. Statements in the letter include that my variable rate will end by December 31. I need to sign up for a fixed rate or my account will return to Washington's Gas Standard Offer Service at the end of the year.
The problem is that I am not a customer of WGL Energy. I've always have stayed with Washington Gas. The WGL letter is misleading at best. My current rate with Wash Gas is better than the fixed rate WGL is offering...

Gizzards, hearts, brains, stomachs, intestines, kidneys, I’m a big fan. I really miss Wang Manor near the shady grove metro.
I currently live in Baltimore City (but originally from MoCo - North Bethesda) and the person I got assigned to as my secret Santa is also from Rockville! I’m trying to think of a MoCo themed secret Santa gift that would sort of lead her onto thinking it might be me because of the Montgomery county connection.
Any MoCo themed gift ideas?
Got an automated (photo) moving violation in Gaithersburg recently but it was incorrectly sent to my wife. Presumably because she registered the cars. We just went ahead and paid it this time and hopefully it won't be a frequent issue, but does anyone know how we change who the "default" driver is for each of our cars?
Edit: thanks everyone that's helpful. I knew there weren't points at stake but wasn't sure if it had any impact on the driver at all. More an annoyance to my wife who is proud of her clean record and doesn't want to be associated with my mistake haha. Doesn't seem worth it to transfer title or anything like that.
Hi all! Anyone know of holiday markets coming up in MoCo for local arts, crafts, small businesses? Other than the Silver Spring market happening tomorrow, I'm curious where there are others going on. I know there are several in DC but haven't really been able to find any lists around here, even though I see random neighborhood signs out and about (but I'm usually driving and can't really make note of where and when they are!). Thanks!
Edit: Thanks all for the great responses!!
Odd request, not sure if there is an answer in the area.
Normally for Thanksgiving my family and I prepare a spread and have plenty of leftovers, but this year we went out to a restaurant (Morton's, superhighly recommend if you don't feel like cooking and are ok with spending $70 per person for their Thanksgiving special)
It was awesome, but I miss my leftovers. Is there anywhere in the area that serves Thanksgiving type dishes like stuffing etc that I may be able to buy a tray of? Either somewhere that may have leftovers themselves, or that typically prepare dishes like that.
Not sure if this is possible or if I may need to just make the dishes from home if I want them that bad haha.
Thanks in advance!

Excited to see them open, but like most new stores, needs time to work out the kinks. So in my humble, give them a few weeks . I'll be back.
Best place to get eyebrows microbladed as a first timer? Especially for blondes or people with light coloring. I’m seeing a lot of local small salons but need to do more research before booking appt. Would love if it was close to Germantown or upcounty. Thank you!!
Howdy y’all - I just moved here from Texas. It looks like lows will be below freezing starting Friday and lasting for the next two weeks. With highs in the 40s, do I need to worry about shutting off outside bibs? What else do I need to do around the house?
I’m not accustom to seasons, basements, or not being able to buy beer at the grocery store. 🤠
Happy Thanksgiving!
I recently bought a pair of denim I want to alter and i’m not sure where to look. Can someone recommend any places?
Hi neighbors,
Has anyone recently replaced their patio French doors? I’m curious about how much it cost and if there were any specific challenges. If you have any recommendations for reliable contractors or companies in the area, please share! Door is 60x80.
Thanks in advance for your help!
I saw a hound/lab mix run into traffic and get hit by a car today around 1pm. There was no way for me to pull over and help/check on it but I have been worried sick about it since. Does anyone know what happened to the dog??
What was your experience?

I was planning to order from Bob's Shanghai 66 but I just called and they said they'd be closed.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a place that is open on Thanksgiving? If they do dim sum that'd be great. Thank you!
