Hello girls
I will do my SRS in 20 days, I will do the small intestine graft technique. I would like to know about the girls who did intestinal techniques, or even peritoneum, if you need to douche.
My surgeon says there is no need, that this technique is self-cleaning. But other surgeons say that after every dilation and after sex it is necessary to douche. The information is very conflicting, and there is nothing better than asking the person who had the surgery directly.
I will have my consultation for brow bone shaving , but I have a concern, what will happen if I get only brow bone shaving without eyebrows lift , will that make my eyebrows saggy, I am thinking of only getting brow bone shave and temple lift , but I am not very excited about getting brow lift with them because I feel that it will make me look more fake and clockable.also did you notice major hair loss in the scar area that is going all around the head.
I have a consultation in three days.
I think I went all over the internet, looked at all the pictures on Reddit, and interviewed several people who had surgery from him recently.
There was not one negative mention or significant complications mentioned anywhere. Also, everyone talks about minimal pain and quick recovery. I also like his technique.
Perhaps someone here can give more varied information or is this really a maestro of the plastic surgery world?
I see people all over the place asking about Australia BA results, so I thought I’d post. My surgeon was Dr Topchian, he works out of Melbourne and Brisbane.
The second photo is 3 months post op and I’d been on hormones for 6.5 years at the time of surgery. These are teardrop implants, dual plane, cohesive III, moderate profile and 270cc on each side.
I’m 6 months post op now and they’re great. I’m 5’11” and was a 34A before, I only really wear bralettes now but I’d say I’m probably a 34C or D.
A question for those who've had FFS - did you work with the surgeon on a simulated FFS, and if so, how well did the actual results match the changes you agreed on via the simulation?
Hi all! Long time lurker here. I’ve been contemplating getting FFS done but am so terrified of the healing process (and also the cost haha) so just have some questions about that, as I am trying to figure out where to even go for consultations.
- Even if you are someone who was able to get it covered through insurance, could you share like an estimate (if you remember) of how much it would have cost?
- Could you share about some lower-cost Drs (that may not be so well-known compared to others) that do really great jaw/chin reduction work?
- I know that some Drs require you to stay in the hospital for a min number of days, due to the jaw/chin area being very delicate. What was your experience with that?
For bottom surgery, I am leaning more towards zero-depth vulvoplasty rather than a vaginoplasty. I was wondering if there is a difference between the hair removal required for each procedure? From a few anecdotes online, I get the impression that vulvoplasty needs less hair removed?
So it looks like this is the best I'm going to get with my boobs. The doctor did his best. I'm currently coming up on 7 weeks post op. Because the doctor botched me so bad in 2022 the current doctor said he did all he could. I'm not super discouraged because I'm even at the top and can't atleast go out but I'm not super happy either, and after 5 boob jobs in 4 years I I don't want to put anymore money towarrd them. So I guess the good thing is that I'm satisfied enough that I can focus on FFS and worry about the boobs later. They are a little softer than before but not super soft like I see some the girls. I have 645 cc silicone subfascial
He is quite famous for bottom surgery but when I consulted w him last week, he says 50% of his work actually is FFS which surprised me bc I don’t see him talked about in the FFS world. Anyone gone to him for FFS and would you mind sharing before/after?
I posted another thread about this over on r/asktransgender a few days ago but I thought I’d ask here too.
I’m considering vulvoplasty over vaginoplasty but I want to talk it through with my surgeon first. I’m just wondering if anyone here has gone for this procedure and what your experiences have been like? What made you choose vulvo over vaginoplasty and are you happy you made that decision?
Part of my reasoning for considering it is that I’m asexual and somewhat sex averse. I mostly just want to alleviate my genital dysphoria and I think vulvoplasty would suffice for this, but it’s such a big decision to make and I can see pros and cons to both. All I know for sure is I want genital surgery either way.
Hey everyone just looking for some insight/advice. A little background on me to give a full picture. I am active duty U.S. military currently stationed overseas. I come back state side next year and am looking to get TS January 2026 and maintaining nipple sensation is at the TOP of my list!!
I’ve been doing a lot of research and I found Dr. Lisa Gfrerer through some subreddits. Since making calls is not an option for me right now I had someone call for me to get some information on how to get this process started. They finally got a chance to call her office today and they were told she only does video consults for patient that live in NY or Mass. On the website I found she had 2 numbers listed and the one they were able to get through to was the plastic surgery office she had listed (if that matters). I’m wondering if anyone has had experience working with her office coming from out of state or maybe even out of country? If not, does anyone know of any other surgeons that do nerve reinnervation? TIA for any insight/help!!
To preface, I just scheduled my consult for Dr. Tommy Liu at Seattle Polyclinic for FFS but it’s not until it’s april 2026, which is the soonest he’s available unfortunately. Im also based on the northeast which makes planning it definitely more expensive, however, I know he’s who I wanna go to (I’m also very set on getting FFS, and will have been on hormones for 3 years now this february). However, my family has been on the fence of me traveling to the west coast for surgery and saying there’s great surgeons around here and that’d be easier. I can’t really seem to find any located near me and can’t find any reputable that take my insurance (Horizon BCBS). There’s Dr. Kuperstock in virginia, but he’s very conservative from what i’ve seen in his aesthetics. I’m just wondering if my best bet is to wait to see Dr. Liu in Seattle since he does take my insurance or try consulting and seeing about other surgeons in the Northeast.
As for my FFS wishlist for a surgeon, I’m specifically looking for someone who does
Besides Mardirossian, I haven’t seen much surgeons around the area perform under these kind of aesthetics to my liking. And I also know he doesn’t take insurance. Does anyone have any leads? Is it best to call my insurance network and see if they can point me to any?
I know that many of us do not have support such as insurance that pays for this type of surgery and we have to pay for everything out of our own pockets. My question is, how long did it take you to gather all the money? Were you affected by the exchange rate? And what advice would you give to someone who is just starting to save for her ffs?
Any comments would be very helpful, thank you. xoxo
Hi,
I am wondering if it’s okay to have anal sex post op once everything is healed or will that cause damage to the vaginal canal?
hello everyone! I’m currently looking into both FFS and VFS in the northeast USA area and have seen a couple different options, I’d like to know if some of y’all who have had VFS specifically can give more info
as of now my most probable option seems to be VFS with Dr . Courey in mount sinai
As far as I know right now, yeson voice center in Korea is basically the most advanced option with the best success results/rates, I’m curious as to the technique of the surgeons there compared to that of dr. Courey
id like to also know if you ladies who have gone to yeson were able to have that covered by insurance at all? it kinda seems like that’s a more “luxury” option that I don’t really have the money or resources for considering the distance + travel and whatnot but I’m curious Thank you so much
Hey guys I have my consult in February for FFS and I’m super excited. I constantly see her being recommended and good reviews but 50% of reviews with pics seem to be complaints. Has anyone gotten any work done from her before?
What I’m looking to be done is jaw contouring, genioplasty, brow lift, tracheal shave, and a lip lift.
I really don’t want a nose job but I’d be open to it if she wouldn’t change the integrity of my nose (I’m a black girl if that helps add any perspective).
Thank you for all help.
Hey everyone, I hit 3 months post PI with scrotal graft few days ago and dilating is only getting harder.
I'm dilating 3 times a day for about 40 mins, started at 4 times a day for an hour, never missed a day.
The enterance is getting very stiff and the first insertion of the day is taking me 15-20 minutes, fairly painful too. At the beginning it was almost instant and barely a discomfort.
I'm hoping that this is the worst phase and it will get better but I'm scared that with the current trend, it will only get worse and close up or something...
Hi, I'm looking at surgeons to book for SRS that would be within my travel budget and I've seen a couple really great photos from ppl saying they went to Del Corral (who is not very far from me) but he doesn't really seem to have any website or anything.
If anyone's willing to share about their experiences with him I'd love to hear more.
Specifically what kind you got (I've heard he offers all three techniques?), how happy you are with his results, and how his demeanor has been?
Feel free to dm me instead!
Question for the masses: if you have had a tracheal shave, did you experience tightness/hoarseness in your throat/voice (tightness when swallowing or speaking, some slight hoarseness when speaking)? If so, did it resolve? If so, how long did it take?
I am experiencing this now having had surgery on the 22nd of November, and am looking for other people’s experience (and, preferably, for people to say “yes that happens and it goes away”)
Thank you!
Officially 4 days post op with PPT vaginoplasty with Dr McCormick and Dr Agarwal. I was initially nervous about coming here as there weren’t many opportunities to read reviews or experiences online. But every consult, every message exchanged… just kept me so sure this was the place to go.
And as I lie here in the hospital recovering. This experience has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Day 0: They were very thorough in consults, worked hard to make sure my insurance covered. And just generally helped me feel like this was the place I should go.
Day 1: Check in - 0600. Fill out paperwork for the hospital. Head over to the operating waiting area. Get taken back to pre op room and meet everyone including the surgeons. They go over everything. Answer all questions and just make me feel overwhelmingly happy that I stuck with UofU. Signed consents and before you know it… time for a quick versed snoozzzzzzzzzzz
Woke up around 1. Everything was a blur. But surgery was complete.
Days 2-4. Your job is to just relax and take it easy. They keep you there til Saturday when they remove the packing and catheter and you go back to wherever you’re staying. I chose to stay at Little America which I booked through the hospital at a discounted rate. (This hotel is absolutely amazing. Love it so much). The pressure is pretty intense the first few days… being stuffed with gauze and full of air from the laparoscopic surgery. It was about day 3 that I was able to pass gas, and now today, day. 4. Things are much better. I walked quite a bit. Didn’t need to use a walker. And am still a bit sore… but nothing unexpected….
The nurses are beyond amazing. I love the nurses. They are passionate for the department they work in (LGBT+ surgeries and high risk transplant surgeries).
I will try to post a new update Saturday when the packing comes out. Or at the very least, update this post.
I’m so happy. So excited. And so happy I came to UofU
Not much to see right now otherwise I’d post pics. Maybe Saturday.
Since this is such a lacking post for any helpful info, feel free to AMA… I’ll respond in the threads the best I can.
