Guilty Gear Strive season 4 tomorrow! Any gamers?

Hey peeps! I’m Madi, I’m 33, and super excited for the new Strive patch and Dizzy tomorrow, I’m returning to the game after some time away and wondering if there are any other Strive players here who fancy meeting and mashing with new people? How do you find people to play games online and on VC? MTF 37 Europe - total fail for me

Hi,

I was wondering - how you guys find people to play games with?
I used to play with my niece until she stopped playing games altogether, and now I find myself, at 37, completely unable to find people to play games with. I have joined discords, tried scheduling something with people IRL who play games, but it never seems to work. I can't find meaningful connections on discord as I am pretty bad at writing / following conversations which are written (severe case of diagnosed ADHD), and, as a 37year old adult, I usually game EU times between 5PM to 9/10 PM Monday to Thursday (but often not daily).

I play a variety of games, I play FFXIV, started Throne and Liberty, but also would love to dive in and play Nightingale, Enshrouded, Palworld, potentially Granblue Relink, perhaps even BG3 and Divinity 2, Remant 1 and 2, maybe Code Vein and Elden Ring and Demon Souls with people.
I play on PS5 and PC.

As I mentioned I have a severe case of ADHD where I find myself I am pretty horrible with writing with people, and it seems like VC is never a thing anywhere, where you can just hop in and talk with people.
I also tend to switch / play multiple games at the same time due to ADHD, but that hasn't been an issue so far as I sort of don't have anyone to play with anyway.

I do have a discord where I ocassionally get to talk to people, but they are not especially LGBT+ friendly which bothers me, and I play ocassionally with my nephew, but we talk like twice every 3 months.

Also, even finding people to play with on LGBT+ friendly, gamers, or game specific discords just doesn't seem to work.

How do you guys do it?
Find it extremely hard at 37 to make friends, both IRL or online.

MTF 21 looking for new gaming friends

Hey I’m Ori I’m looking for friends to play Fortnite and paladins with (I’m on Xbox but they’re both crossplay) I also play pso2ngs and Tera on Xbox. I have a switch and play warframe and overwatch 2 on it. I would prefer voice chat over texting in game if that’s important. I have a laptop I hook up to my tv for paladins as well because I accidentally bought a 3rd party controller so it only works on my laptop lol

Hi I'm looking for people to mainly talk to and preferably play games with and in particular DayZ on PC I have a Xbox and a Switch but I only have DayZ on steam, and preferably between the age of 20-30 I'm not like picky with the age just over 20. I'm AuDHD and like on the quiet side at first but once I get comfortable I'm pretty pretty fun (so I'm told). Witchy Trans Girl LF friendsies to play Destiny 2 with :3

Hi, first off, really only looking for Destiny 2 friends, I don’t have alot of time and I rather dedicate my time to a game I am very interested in. I love endgame activities and have a friendly clan but I’m looking to have two-ish friends I can play weekly with, I do play other games but it is wonderful to have a consistent group of two others to grind with. I do play other games, but I don't play them enough to list them, I like shooters, MMOs and RPGs, and I will be playing the beta for wilds.

Currently doing the Halloween event but I wouldn’t mind doing dungeons and I can host raids with my clan if you need any drops or anything like that. I am EDT or Eastern timezone I play afternoons/evenings. Not really interested in toxic people, but I don’t mind funny or banter once we get to know each other better. I also do raid races with my clan so if you are ever looking to try a day one we can try and fit you in.

I am kinda shy especially on first meetings, but you'll quickly come to find out how chaotic I am ^^ Also a chronic stray adopter as told by my friend groups, so you might be yoinked into my collection (Hope you don't mind <3)

I am currently doing a lot of Sea of Thieves, Red Dead Online, Payday 2 (Maybe) and some other things I can't remember off the top of my head. Wanting to get back into R6 but don't have it myself so that's a work in progress (Keen to play it when I eventually get it tho)

I used to be a voice actor and a singer but haven't been trained properly for it yet post transition, I'll get there though, I'm sure xD I'll probably say some random stuff and might swear a bit (I'm Australian, it's natural >.<) so prefer 18+

Anyone else just tired?

Like I’m just so genuinely tired of the way gaming has become such a negative thing online. It’s genuinely so draining to get online and look for news or see new trailers for things and then you go to the comics and see the same old “woke dei sweet baby inc bad” take over and over again.

I want to be around positivity. I want to enjoy things. I want things to be good. I’m so tired of everything I love becoming consistently bombarded by this onslaught of negativity and hatred that has become so common place. I want to be able to talk about the things I like and look forward to things and not have some dude trying to work his two cents in about how we’re ruining video games.

I just got celeste installed it and launched it but it just crashed. i tried to relaunch a couple times, didn't work i tried to verify the integrity of the files then lauched a couple times, every time it crashed, what do i do? didn't really know what to put for the flair

[for Fems] Play Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Girls. I have to recommend you to play SW: Jedi Fallen Order. MODDED.

Hear me out.

There's a mod called Gal Kestis, that changes Cal to a woman — but it doesn't work perfectly. There's a mod that changes the voice lines to a female voice — but it doesn't work perfectly. There's a mod that generates some cut-scene content — but it doesn't work perfectly. And then there's a mod that changes the grunts and oohs and aahs to a female voice — but (you guessed it) it doesn't work perfectly.

It's that "it doesn't work perfectly" -part that makes this all work. As the mods don't 100% do what they set out to do — and they don't mod anyone else in any way — voice lines included.

The result is, that you play as a woman, but the Empire keeps calling you with he/him pronounces (because Empire are bigots, as we all know), sometimes your voice cracks and some lines come out as male, and every "flash-back" scene displays you as a young boy.

Now tell me that isn't a transfemme Jedi looking to kick Empire butt, because they're transphobic assholes.

EDIT: It's currently on Game Pass / EA Play if you have either of those.
