/r/transpassing
This sub is devoted to trans people to post pictures, solicit opinions, and get advice in regards to passing.
For transgender people, being unconsciously grouped with the correct gender (rather than incorrectly taken for members of our birth-assigned gender) is something most of us worry about quite a bit, at least at some point in our lives.
Hiya! For our FAQ, beginners tips, and mod info, please check out our wiki!
This is a community for you as a trans person to post a picture (or video clip, sound clip, etc.) of yourself to get other people's opinions on how well you pass as your gender, and/or get advice on how to pass better. Passing in real life is not the same as passing in photos but we hope this space can help you anyway. Please read the rules for posting photos before you post here.
(A) Rules for all the subreddit all the time:
Be respectful and civil to others and do not stir drama. You can use the "report" button or send modmail to let mods know if a user is being disruptive.
Give constructive and accurate feedback. Both sugarcoating things and tearing people down defeat the point of the subreddit.
Do not sexualise photos or users here. No chasers, fetishists, accounts which comment mostly on porn, people seeking dates/hookups, etc. We have many vulnerable users, including under-18s. When users see that someone commenting under their photo posts near-exclusively to porn subreddits (especially ones that pander to trans fetishes), it can make them feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Do not advertise yourself or your work. No social media handles, fundraisers, subscription services, research projects, etc. Similarly, accounts with a focus on one's own pornography and building their online presence/persona are disallowed. Please be sure to use an account that's predominantly SFW if you're planning to participate here. Linking to your onlyfans here will result in an instantaneous ban.
(B) Rules for posting photos here:
Understand that this subreddit is for transgender or gender-questioning people seeking feedback. By posting a photo here, you are inviting feedback on how you "pass" in terms of gender. If you don't want feedback, please post to a more general selfie subreddit like r/ftm_selfies, r/mtfselfietrain, r/nonbinary, etc.
This subreddit is not aimed at cis crossdressers. There is a grey area where a crossdresser may be exploring their gender identity, and that's okay; we lean towards inclusivity, but if a user is very evidently not transgender then we may ask them to go to crossdressing-focused subreddits instead.
Post photos of yourself and yourself only. You shouldn't post on behalf of anyone else, with or without their permission. If posting yourself in a group photo, please hide/blur the faces of everyone else.
Ensure photos are useful for constructive criticism -- in particular, they must be clear and unedited. No filters, FaceApp, extreme angles, overly-grainy photos, hair covering your face, tiny photos, or frequent photo spam. If your photo is edited in any way other than colour correction, nobody can give you accurate feedback on your day-to-day passing. If you post similar photos many times a week, nobody can give you new and different feedback on how you look. Your photo should clearly show your face unless you are asking for feedback just on a specific other body part (eg "do my hips pass?"), in which case you can choose to include or exclude your face.
Ask about your passing now, rather than asking hypothetical or "potential" questions like "will I pass after 1 year HRT?". Nobody can know what effect hormones will have for you or what you will look like in the future.
Absolutely NO PORN and NO NSFW MATERIAL. NSFW posts are no longer permitted; this is not a porn subreddit. For more sexual NSFW posts, please head to a subreddit that caters to such. Egregious breakage of this rule (Including softcore porn/cheesecake) will result in an instantaneous ban. If you're here to advertise your OnlyFans or Instagram, etc, if you're only here to post pornographic material, or if you're just here to be a creep, you will be banned on the spot.

Your account is new or doesn't have much activity, so your posts are getting pulled by the anti-spam and anti-troll filters because you don't have enough user activity for the algorithm to tell whether you're a human or a bot.
Message CedarWolf with this link and I'll go review and approve your posts for you.
You can also help yourself by going to /r/all/rising and commenting on anything that looks interesting - that's an excellent way to get a lot of participation and activity across a variety of subreddits quickly.

I don't know ive been on hrt(mtf) for over 18 years i'm 33 now just never started getting hair removal till last year... Not going to lie i put 0 effort in because I try to blend in as cis white male so I don't get attacked out in public. I covid mask'd up until last month. Wear tight as tolerable sports bra, baggy clothes etc. I live in a not so friendly place.
I have all my id and stuff updated, but for some reason I'm stuck in this weird state of meh. Like I don't know I feel like my friends online and in person saying "you pass" are just really nice because they think i have a fragile ego or something so it's hard to gauge and i don't dare call my spouse a liar.
sooo...if someone, anyone would just say about where I sit after this long hrt, i'd appreciate it and thank you. I'm just trying to see if i need body contouring/ffs( hard to tell from this pic sorry will post more later) I just feel like estrogen stopped working a long time ago :\ even with good levels. Maybe it's dysphoria maybe I need plastic surgery LOLOLOL
ps I am on anti depressant currently too, to try and like give myself energy to care and try a little harder. I just feel like I'd just be making myself a target.
I feel like I'm not quite there yet đ
