Rules:
Rule 1: No spamming
Do not spam the sub - memes, poll, surveys, "what do you think Bella Hadid had done" type speculation of other people's procedures, or double posting/posting more than once in quick succession are not allowed, and will be removed.
Rule 2: Use NSFW tag when applicable
Don't make us open up a picture of your backside in front of our co-workers please, thanks. Minors are not to post NSFW content here.
Rule 3: No advertising, no begging
Don't ask anyone to fund your elective surgeries. Also, if you are spamming the sub simply to drum up business for yourself, your posts will be removed. However, if you are actually creating/adding to a discussion on the topic, you are permitted to do so. We allow surgeon's offices to post once per week.
Rule 4: Incels/incel terminology not permitted (includes mewing)
If you're an incel and we find out about it, you will be perma banned. This includes their terminology - like mewing. Mewing originated in incel forums, and we do not permit it here as it is pseudoscience and ineffective.
Rule 5: No ratings, no dating, no being a perv
We're not a ratings/dating sub. Posts asking us to rate you, ratings other members, or posting just a selfie for attention will be removed, as will posts asking for advice on how to get dates. Also, no thirsty comments/telling OP you want to hook up with them/would date them, and don't ask people for nudes.
Rule 6: Don't ask us to choose your surgeries
What this means is this: don't post a selfie asking "lol what surgeries should I get." No one is going to choose your expensive, painful surgical procedures for you, nor should you even want them to. You should know what feature(s) you want to change, or have a question about a specific procedure. Vague posts asking us to pick for you will be removed. Come here having at least some idea of what you want.
Rule 7: Refrain from feel-good comments that add nothing of value
While it might seem kind to bombard the OP with "gurl you're so beautiful don't change a thing!!" comments, please don't do this. We are a sub for discussion of surgical procedures, and warm and fuzzy compliments are a distraction from the discussion to be had.
Rule 8: If you are morally opposed to plastic surgery, then do not post or comment here
Do not come into the sub and rail against the evils of plastic surgeons, or the morality of "fooling" people with a rhinoplasty, or whatever. If you do something along these lines, we will assume you are lost on Reddit and will guide you to the exit.
Rule 9: Bad advice may be removed
If you offer really bad advice, your comment will possibly be removed. While you're allowed to disagree with people, outright bad advice might be taken down. If this happens to your comment, accept it and follow rule number ten.
Rule 10: Take your warning/ban/comment removal like an adult
If your post or comment is removed, if you receive a temporary ban, or if you are given a warning, you can use the moderator mail to contact the mods with your concerns. Privately messaging a mod to get around a ban/muting, or to scream and throw a tantrum, will result in a permanent ban to the sub.

Hi, I've had my implants 19 years, and currently going through initial consultations to get them replaced. It will be a replacement with the same shape and size,... considering going slightly larger in one though this is still to be discussed.
In the UK if that matters.
Is it normal practice for a capsulectomy to be carried out in every replacement? They've quoted for me for this like it's a given it needs doing at the same time.
Nearly everything I'm finding online is information for the first surgery, I'm not finding much on a 2nd when a lot of time has passed, so any info/tips appreciated.
I have bigger outer lips with one deformed inner labia that sticks out the larger outer lips like a tongue. It rubs in my underwear constantly and feels incredibly uncomfortable. I'm always running to a corner or a restroom to tuck it back in, so I don't feel the feeling. I've put up with it for years, but now at 35, I think it's getting longer. I don't mind the look of it. But it's so uncomfortable. Is there anyway I could get insurance to cover this as a required surgery? It does get dry and is causing me a lot of issues but it's not impeding sex or urination. I can't go back to the bathroom three times in one workout to tuck it in. I just looked at it in the mirror and it doesn't stay tucked because it's just too long. I feel like I'm tucking in a tiny flaccid dick.
Anyone else have more knowledge or experience on this?

Hi all, got a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer into undereyes / cheeks/mid face on Wednesday, so today is day 5.
My face is super swollen, I am physically unable to smile.
I know swelling at this stage is exactly what should be happening and it's too early to worry about what ifs (what if too much fat was I injected??) but I think I need a reminder to trust the process.
My doc said he does not overfill as it's so difficult to correct, should all of it stick, but I think he said he injected about 14ml which seems like a lot??
Hey all,
I’m 3.6 years post-op from my rhinoplasty, and I’ve noticed that my nose is super sensitive whenever I get an ND:YAG laser facial. It feels so weird and painful that I always ask them to skip my nose during the treatment.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m curious about why this might be happening since my surgery wasn’t recent.

hey so i’m 20yrs old so i know that’s prolly extremely young to be getting a face lift but i lost around 30kg within the last two years from bmi 30 to around bmi 20. and now i feel like my face sags a little. not enough for people to know i lost weight but enough to make my face look aged so i was wondering if anyone has any experience getting a face lift at a young age or would recommend me anything else. Thank you
I’m 7 weeks post op, and my nose is still very much completely sore. It feels like I’m applying pressure to a bruise. Not just the tip but also the bridge. Was wondering how long this soreness has happened to everyone
My main fear is that I will constantly be aware of the implants in my chest, like having a rock in your shoe, or like forgettint a glove/hat in your jacket sleeve. I am having a hard time explaining it, but basically this is a major concern for me. I dont care how it feels when you (or someone else) touch the breast, just whether I will feel the implant inside me as a foreign object..
Anyone care to share their experience?
His work seems promising and he seems professional as compared to other Turkish surgeons.
Was looking into Selim Turan but saw he is very unethical and caused a lot of suffering to people.
Please let me know your thoughts on who is a good revision surgeon
I am supposed to be having a rhinoplasty on the 5th. But my nose is completely clogged right now and I have to breathe through my mouth. Will this be an issue?
So I have a very gummy smile I've always been self conscious about. I could put on a posed smile and it isn't super visible, but when I laugh or talk naturally it's really noticeable. So I got a lip flip for the first time at the suggestion of my technician to see the results before doing something more like gummy smile botox or fillers.
It's my first ever cosmetic procedure, I got it one a week and two days ago (Friday Nov 22) and I was told it wouldn't hit its peak for two weeks. The first two days my lip was a little swollen but I really liked it, and then around Wednesday it looked fine but I was thinking it really didn't give me strong enough results but it hasn't been two weeks yet so I wasn't worrying.
Now it's Sunday and I'm noticing every time I smile I see gums, and it seems like I can no longer even hide them with a posed smile like I used to. I know it still hasn't been two weeks but the results just seem to be getting less each day so I'm having doubts it'll still get better by the two week mark.
Has anyone else experienced this? Will it get better? Did my body just react poorly to it? I'd love to hear any stories, other suggestions, or experiences in reducing a gummy smile.
I’m booked for a surgery next year. It’s all I have ever wanted and have been saving up for it for the past four years. Now that the time is getting closer, I have been sooo paranoid and anxious. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced such extreme anxiety as well and how did you deal with it?
I have wrinkles in knees that bother me, what can I do thst doesn't break the bank !
