I had some additions to the Gun multireddit and was wondering who the official maintainer is.

The results of the vote to ban /u/ClassicFirearms for for using /u/Othais's property for monetary gain, without permission, are as follows:
11 "Yes" to ban
2 "No" to not ban
The Yes's have it, with an 85% voting majority. Moderators do as you will, but I suggest banning /u/ClassicFirearms from your subreddits, as I am currently doing with mine.
Thanks to everyone who voted!
Based on the comments and discussions of the above thread, it seems the most basic action we all could do with our subs is to ban /u/ClassicFirearms for using /u/Othais's property for monetary gain, without permission. I think voting should be fairly cut-and-dry in this thread, so please respond with either a "Yes" to ban, or a "No" to not ban, at this time. Please keep any discussion in the original discussion thread, and do no berate others' votes. A 2/3 majority for either side will take the vote. Only vote comments will count towards the total, and only one vote per account. Votes will be tallied exactly 24 hours from now.
As always, you all have your own subs to care about, and if you would like to not go with the decision of the group, that's alright. I would, however, highly encourage your participation in both the vote and the results of the vote, as it helps to foster unity between the gun subs. If you do not want to see a result happen, simply vote for the opposite result. If you (or me) are not a lead moderator in one of your subs, I encourage you to take any actions required from the result of this vote. However, if a moderator ahead of you withdraws your action, please do not get in a moderation war with one another - leave it be.
My accounts will abstain from voting.
As mentioned in modmail.

Additionally, I added a couple minor requirements in order for a subreddit to be included in the network:
A subreddit must have at least one (1) post.
A subreddit must have at least one (1) post made within a year's time.
If I have not included a subreddit that you feel should be on this list, please let me know in the comments section so I can add it. Also, if you are a moderator of one of the subreddits on this list, and you are not an approved submitter and moderator of /r/GunOverlords, let me know and I'll add you.
Thanks for being involved!
I acquired /r/BlackGuns, and I'm not really sure what to do with it. I accepted the invite to moderate it (now I am the only moderator) in case someone ever wanted it, so here I am:
The subreddit was apparently made to be a second /r/ar15, so I'm really not sure what to do with it since /r/ar15 is pretty much the go-to for ARs. However, since the subreddit is titled as "BlackRifles," which is somewhat vague, I am wondering if I should go ahead and see if I can turn it into a notARs-but-black-rifles subreddit (AR-18s, Daewoos, FALs, probably some ARs; basically "black rifles" of any type are welcomed). What does the reddit gun community think of this in general?
Also, if anyone else knows exactly what they want to do with it and has plans for it, I wouldn't be against giving you the subreddit, either.
I also noticed we already have an /r/BlackRifles, so...
TEll me what you think and please promote it if you can.
Am I wrong?
If anyone would like Automoderator set up for their subreddit, please let me know. I have it going in /r/gunsforsale and it works flawlessly. It should cut out 90% of daily moderation tasks, letting you focus on the important things.
Also, I've started writing reddit bots, so let me know if you need anything specific done that Automod can't do.
Howdy!
Just wanted to let everyone here know how to allow their subscribers to add and edit their own flair, since I just recently found out.
In the sidebar, under Moderation Tools, click on edit flair.
Under flair options, click on both enable user flair in this subreddit and allow users to assign their own flair (you can also click the third option for link flair, if that's a route you want to take).
Under the save options button, there are three tabs. Click on the user flair templates tab.
Click the box under user can edit?, then click the save button to the right of that row.
Click on save options.
This should allow your subscribers to edit their own custom text flair. For example, I have done this in my sub /r/M1Rifles, and subscribers have made flair such as "Winchester M1 Carbine" and "Norinco M1A".
Hope this helps some of you out!
Thought us Aussies needed our own subreddit so I went ahead and made it.
Awright, we got a live one. I'm going to post some screenshots of modmail. I just want to say that I do not normally do that, but this guy has been posting screens of it anyway so I'm not revealing anything new.
HCE banned this dude for some reason; I don't know what it was because it looks like this guy deleted his post.
The following modmail ensued: http://i.imgur.com/Bpx76xF.png
We're one message in, and he's already calling us Nazis. Normally it takes quite a few before people get to that point.
I would like to take a brief moment to say that we are generally very professional, if somewhat terse, in our correspondence with users until they act like assholes.
Now that being said, this guy was acting like an asshole.
HCE doesn't like being told how to run his sub, and responds with a lighthearted jab borrowed from the world of standup comedy: http://i.imgur.com/Ycz6HLT.png
OH NO! WE WILL BE ALL OVER THE WEB! WHATEVER SHALL WE DO? It's not like we're not already universally hated by everyone in the gun subreddits.
Things deteriorate from there. It's all fairly standard stuff, until this happened: http://www.reddit.com/r/ReportTheBadModerator/
The guy created a new subreddit for the express purpose of bitching about us. It has one post where he details how our foul language has given him the vapors.
We subscribe to the Randall Graves school of moderation in /r/guns. The only way to stay sane is to tear into the occasional asshole.
I figured that the /r/guns mods should get in on this "....of the day" shit because the sheer tonnage of stupid cray cray we get is staggering.
Here was a self post we deleted today:
I have been on reddit for a month now, and a lurker for a while longer. I see a HUGE following for the second amendment. Subs /r/ar-15, /r/gunsarecool, /r/guns/, /r/gunsforsale, etc speak for themselves. So today I decided to get a look at the other side of the fence and tried a search for an /r/antigun, /r/nogun, /r/nomoreguns, etc and I did come across /r/noguns. Looking at every post on there all I see is more pro 2nd. This is a wonderful thing, but it brings to mind the question, "Are there really any common (not politicians, celebrities, etc) people that really are supportive of the anti-gun movement?" Or is this just another fabrication from our current administration? What happened to the 90% of Americans that support stricter gun laws? Or is my search just not turning up the subs that really are anti-gun?
tl;dr this guy went on reddit, looked for some anti-gun subreddits, didn't find many posts, and concluded that all of America is pro-gun and that anti-gun movements are shams perpetrated by the Obama administration.
Four major things:
The number of subs has risen from 70 to 73. Along with it, the number of mods has risen from 132 to 143.
I have updated the header, so now the 'sections' of sub-reddits, such as "Calibers" and "DIY" actually link to their respective, combined multi-subs. If you moderate one of the subs on the list, check out the comment section below, which will let you all know how to edit your stylesheets and sidebars accordingly.
/u/Hivbus is unbanned.
Once I am done posting this, I will be done with reddit. Not sure if I'm coming back, but I will not be deleting my account, so that the content and comments I've posted with not be lost. I will no longer be a moderator here, and am leaving control of this sub in the hands of /u/josh6499, who I believe is more than capable of running it. Everyone here has an equal voice (myself included), but he will be keeping things in order from now on.
I can't handle the drama resulting from the /r/Guns mods decisions then removal, today. Will be leaving reddit. Who wants to run /r/GunOverlords? I guess whoever gets the most upvotes in the comments below or whoever makes the most compelling argument will have it.
So like many of you I have some interest in silencers/suppressors. Especially after seeing this review of the Liberty Infiniti
So I looked up /r/silencer and /r/suppressors. Not much to look at as you can see. Then I headed over to /r/NFA better but still small.
Should all, some or none of these be included in the The Gun Network? (By included I mean added to the CSS that makes up the network). Personally I feel /r/silencer and /r/suppressors will die out eventually and would be best served if adopted into the /r/NFA reddit.
Post your thoughts, suggestions and ideas.
/u/roadkill6 started a thread with all of the info here in /r/guns in order to discuss a plan and a response.
He was asking for help in cross-posting it to the other subreddits, so I thought I'd post it here. Please feel free to cross-post to all of your own subreddits.
I honestly cannot believe this happened.
Users are not required to post images, but it is highly encouraged for used items and firearms.
Hey /r/GunOverlords!
Just wanted to announce a new sub-reddit that I've been working on getting up and running: /r/M1Rifles. I'm hoping that it will be able to take the place of /r/Mini14 and surpass both its subscriber and (quality) post counts shortly.
I've added it to the current Reddit Gun Network.
Everyone please welcome /r/65Grendel and its moderator, /u/pwny_, into The Gun Network!
Hey guys, My sub is pretty small and not very active, but I'd still like it to look nice. How exactly does one put up the nifty links at the top of the page? My CSS knowledge is almost nonexistent, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
