Id like to build a bolt action in 277 fury and was wondering if anyone knew of a action that could withstand the pressures for the 80k psi hybrid cases. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been teaching myself CAD recently and wanted a bigger project to practice. I was hoping to model a lever action rifle and the working components but I have struggled to find any useful blue prints or reference material for measurements.
Is there somewhere special to look? I tried looking for books on lever action rifles but didn't see any that contained detailed measurements. I have found some CAD files people have made but obviously that defeats the practice part.
I'm particularly partial to Henry's but any one would work.
The dream end goal would be to have the internal parts made. My brother is a mechanical engineer that specializes is prototyping so I'll have some help with 3d printing, materials selection, sourceing, machining, etc
The timeframe for the use of the optic is from 1991-1995, it was used by a Croatian soldier during the Croatias war for independence. Thank you all in advance
I'm ordering a m31 kit from centerfiresystems, what's the typical build path nowadays for the tube portion?
Thank you
Ok So a couple years ago I built an M70AB2 Parts kit. Used Ak Builder flat , bent and Drilled it. Blah blah blah, fast forward to 1500ish rounds later and i have noticed the 2 forward Spot Welds on EACH lower bolt guide was no longer attached to the receiver....dang.
Looking for possible options short of cutting up and starting over ....... could I A: drill the receiver from the outside and attempt to plug weld the rails?
all opinions welcome
I bought a stock from Rhineland arms and I have been completely ghosted after they took my money anyone with the same experience?
I'll be working on my M72 kit in a month or so.
And was wondering if a m72 alignment jig would work with the M77?
I was thinking it would since the barrel lengths are pretty close.
Side question: Requiem has two types of press plates. One with two holes and other with just one in the center. Is one better than the other?
Thank you
Recently I got this G19.5 laser stippled and unfortunately it slightly went through the frame. The guy actually replaced the frame for me, but I was trying to see if I can save this one before I throw it ina box to never be seen again.
I’ve only had stock models before, but I’m interested in building my own.
The only thing I’m really set on is being able to use my existing Glock .40S&W mags. Other than that, I’m open to suggestions, ideas, and advice!
I’m looking to get a new pistol, but I want to be able to use my existing Glock model 22 mags.
Any suggestions for clones or builds that would take my existing mags?
Hey, boys. So I'm looking for an RPD barrel. Ideally, I'd like a short one like the MACVSOG boys had back in Nam. But I'll take any RPD barrel at this point, please help.

Hoping to get help here. I have a Savage Model 10 .308.
I'm trying to buy a Onyx chassie for it. For one I'm not sure if the rifle I have is a LA or SA, and if that is the only thing matters.
Any help with me buying the correct size chassis is appreciated that way I ain't buying the wrong one and trying to return it lol.
Hey everyone, I’m working on a Belgian made 7MM pinfire revolver. It is missing the spring/latch for the loading gate. Does anyone have a lead on where I could look for a replacement before contacting someone to make a replacement for it? I have tried unsuccessfully to make a replacement spring several times.
What’s up everyone. I’ve got an 1800’s 7MM pinfire revolver that I’m working on for a friend. The loading gate latch/spring is broken and missing from this gun and I’m unable to find an original to replace it with. So I’m gonna end up having to make one. I have some spring steel that looks like it came out of an old recliner that I planned on using to forge into the correct size and shape.
I’m concerned that the metal will lose its temper and no longer offer spring tension after heating and hammering it into the proper shape.
Any information, tips or tricks to accomplish this task would be greatly appreciated
After taking another look at my build today, the front sight is canted to the left.
Could I just remove the pin, realign the sight then redrill the hole? Or would I have to rotate the whole barrel around?
Thank you
Frame is a DD19.2, Upper is from PSA, any idea what could cause this? Thanks
