We went to a local Outlet Mall to find heavy-duty bootlaces for the husband. Hubby shouted my name from across the store because he knows what I like and said “Hey, EDC stuff! Anything here useful for your kit?”

Here is what I picked up. I can’t and won’t say anything to the quality of the tools yet, and we know you get what you pay for, usually (SAK and Letherman, cough cough). For those dipping a toe into EDC though, I think it’s worth a look. Many items were discounted, there are 3 for 2 offers, and they did have a good selection of EDC/camping/wilderness gear.

looking for a good edc pen here's what I'm looking for in said pen:

1. Clip has to be durable, and hold onto a jean pocket well as I'm constantly squatting, bending down, getting in and out of vehicles. Preferably deep carry as well.

2. Price. Something I wouldn't be real upset about if lost, and totally fine with disposables. definitely >$100.

3. Preferably in black including the clip.

4. It will be riding along side a penlight in the pocket if that helps, I'de prefer plastic so as to not scratch that up but not necessary.

5. Don't care if it's a click, cap, screw on cap, bolt action etc. so long that if it is a cap it stays on well.

6. Good reputation of not bursting or leaking.

7. Finally no fountain pens, just not my thing.

So I lost my spyderco para 2 today :( Although it was my absolute favorite knife I've ever owned I'd been shopping around looking at various spyderco knives but today came across microtech. I'll be honest I have no experience and don't know anyone with a microtech knife. I'd love to hear some input on either brand or both.
