title pretty much says it all
Been listening to lamb of god for a while now, but it’s the first real metal band i have discovered and and I haven’t found any more since. Suggestions?
Anybody know if there are plans for a live DVD? Looked like they were filming at the London, Ontario show my wife and I went to, but have not heard anything.
On Terror and Hubris in the House of Frank Pollard, there's this high pitched voice that's singing. Is that Blythe or someone else?
Something I noticed just today while listening to my log playlist. The closing tracks of both NAG and the self titled mentioning some places that are related to theme of the songs (police brutality and prescription drug epidemics). Combined with this I remember that in one interview, when asked about why the self titled album doesn't have a name, Randy said that the reason for it is because the album is "pure Lamb of God" or something like that.
Do you think that the ending of On the Hook is a neat reference to the closing of NAG (the first log album) or is it just a coincidence?
Got me curious 🧐
I want to start listening to lamb of god, I do know laid to rest but I want to really start listening to them. What songs should I start with?
Or elsewhere
What the hell is this, in the official playlist?
So Wrath has long been a favorite album of mine. I’m listening to Spotify and get to Reclamation, the 11th song on that album. I think to myself “ah yes an amazing song to end the album”
Next song comes up on Spotify - something I’ve literally never heard in my life before - so I look at the song. It’s Song Number 12 on the album. And not only that, there’s two more songs after it.
Am I losing my mind? Am I a victim of quantum immortality? This album - to my memory - has only ever had 11 songs on it, ending with Reclamation.
I was seriously considering taking a road trip out to Inkcarceration until I saw the top billing for Sunday. Lamb should absolutely be closing out the weekend here... especially over FFDP. What the actual fuck are they thinking?
An old oud cover of Laid To Rest I found on YouTube. I've always thought since the first time I heard Laid To Rest that it had a very Arabesque sound to it and imagined it being played on an oud.
If I ever get to it someday, I'd like to make a bunch of Ashes of the Wake song covers with arrangements using Arabic instruments, to match the albums themes and sound.
Happy Birthday to me!
How would you rank the closing tracks off each Lamb of God album?
My ranking from favorite to least favorite album closers:
Vigil (by a wide margin)
Reclamation
ODHGABFE
On The Hook
September Song
Beating On Death's Door
Torches
King Me
Remorse Is For The Dead
Could be a single song, or the performances, etc.
Pretty easy references imo
Hey guys.. Ive been trying to find a piona cover song of lamb of god. I forgot the artist name. But the two songs from her are grace and omerta. Please help me find those two songs.
Does anyone know if we will be expecting any releases this year?? I need new material!!😊
I know lamb of god was originaly called burn the priest and had a self titled album but what's Legion XX? On Spotify it says it's from 2018 so like almost 2 decades after they turned into Lamb of god.
Hard to imagine what it’s been like for anyone and everyone, what a surreal experience I’m sure.
I’m in Richmond currently, where Lamb is from, and weve been having a water crisis since Monday afternoon and that’s been incredibly challenging for the city and residents. I simply cannot even imagine what it’s like for anyone in or around Californias wildfires right now, it’s fucking gut wrenching to see. What can we, as a community here, do to help, ideas?
Hi, I just copped tickets for Headbangers Boat.
Anyone else excited? Really hyped to see Black Dahlia Murder, Power Trip, Fear Factory, Devildriver, Crowbar and of course Lamb of God!
To anyone who’s gone on the cruise previously?
What’s it like with meet and greets or doing stuff like shore excursions when the boat docks?
Trying to have as much fun as possible on the boat, I’ve done 2 cruises before but never a heavy metal based one. So I’m excited to see how this goes!
If anyone has tips or tricks, that would help a bunch!
