i listened to this song from a yt short that was from the 1950s and just featured like crazy guitar work which sounded like psychedelic rock and rolling stone gave it a ??/10 rating does anyone kno what im talking about
edit guys ive found it space guitar by johnny guitar watson
Captured this song while jamming as a band
SLIFT is an incredibly cool band and I've seen other people on this sub asking what bands are like SLIFT that they can listen to. I've tried giving these other bands a go - but they don't sound like SLIFT. I need that really heavy, reverb-y wash. I can't find much else to scratch that itch and classic space rock bands like Hawkwind, Gong and Khan just sound like regular psych rock with a bit of reverb and some synths, not much like what I'm looking for.
Any recommendations?
