I am looking for bands similar to rings of Saturn, preferably ones that are a bit less overproduced
In my son’s school (he’s in first grade) they get to choose a song that the other students then choose to get played over the loudspeaker. His song is sun//eater. Hoping all the kids think it sounds cool just by the name and actually vote it in.

Im gonna throw mine out. I may get some hate for at least one of these, but here we go:
Andy Cizek (Monuments). Dude has some pipes! He was also featured on an underground Dark Souls theme Deathcore band called Firekeeper and he absolutely KILLED his part on that feature! He should definitely have Deathcore side project.
Tim Lambesis. Yes, yes I know I am going to flamed for this one, but setting all of the drama aside, Tim is a pretty damn good vocalist. His side project Pyrithion was kind of him dipping his toes into Deathcore. He was also featured on an Ov Sulfur track further proving he could be a great Deathcore vocalist...assuming he can keep bandmates.
Brian Wille (Currents). Dude has a ton of potential to really take his vocals to the next level. The last Currents album had a lot more versatility with his harsh vocals, so he could be a great Deathcore vocalist.
Joseph Sammuel (The Wise Man's Fear). The last EP TWMF released, Joseph definitely channeled a lot more Deathcore vocals from the snarling screams to the deep tunnel growls. He could definitely have a Deathcore side project and front that nearly effortlessly. Plus, it would be nice to see his vocals shine a lot more without the cleans.
Throw yours out there. I wanna see what Metalcore vocalist could be in Deathcore.
Hey everyone, this is the last song I worked on with the band before I went to work on guitar duty with Abaddonia full time! Check this one out and let me know what you think!
Some lows reminds me of Duncan Bentley from vulvodynia.this slaps
"They ripped off LS!" "They are trying to steal their sound"
God damn I'm so tired of seeing this ignorant shit from people who started listening to the genre because of them and have to compare everything to them.. Especially songs with former members.. "oh they are trying to sound like LS" that guy gave them 80% of their sound? You almost gotta say, LS sounds like them at that point..
What yall know about the band Left Ablaze
Been a musician my whole life, but have never recorded music. Family man, so no touring, but would love to track some vocals. I sing, as well as gutteral, but am open to a lot. I have some recorded gigs as well as practice sessions for reference. Hit me up if you know anything about anything!
VENOM LORD Active 2005-2009
A while back I posted the only surviving content from this band which was a music video where we were playing with sticks instead of instruments.
But after 17 years a physical copy of our debut album Return of the Wizards was found and is now up on Bandcamp. Check out our weird ass metal if you are intrigued.
Hi guys I'm trying to get more into deathcore, anyone can recommend some old school myspace bands? I like JFAC and the band above, also the Black Dahlia Murder. And prime BMTH
im aware there are questions and controversies regarding asking alexandria and their music, but this is undeniable. those fucking highs were feedback provoking. for a metalcore singer and just coming out of a vocal chord surgery... holy shit. i wanna hear your guys' thoughts.
Saw them open for Lorna Shore the other night and wanted to see if anyone could ID this song?
If so, what time does To The Grave go on? Having trouble with trains and don’t really want to miss them but it looks like it’s going to happen regardless :(
Hi! I'm just looking for something to help me cope with all the shit I'm put through lately. Sorry for using this space to vent but... I kinda don't have a place to talk about it, and I like the community.
The general context is: I've been talking to someone for a few months, I thought it's perfect, haven't ever seen any 2 people get along that well in my life. One week after exchanging "I love you's" it turned out she's been in a 4 year relationship, out of which last year has been miserable. The part that hurt the most is that after being caught by her bf, she realised something; she wants to try & rebuild their relationship, so we don't have contact anymore, I've been left alone. Any songs that can describe the pain? Can be any genre, not necessarily deathcore.
Please, no songs like "whore to a chainsaw" or "leech" or similar (or just mean comments about her), there's no anger, no hate - It's just pain, I'm still filled with so much love that I'm ready to give. (no judging please, there's much more context)
Songs that have been feeling close so far:
VCTMS - kill.me_please/Pull From The Hurt/Feed The Vice(kinda)
Alpha Wolf - Golden Fate; Water Break
Elitist - Lonely Giant
Gideon - Survive (contrast as anti-suicide)
I know it’s a long watch but you people enjoy:) love to hear feedback!
