Saw a LPJ at a local music shop and I’ve always wanted one. I primarily play in a shoegaze band, so I was just wondering I could get some good tones out of it. I’m worried that only having 1 P90 pickup would make it sound pretty flat. Let me know.

bands like deaf heaven and holy fawn etc. Boy oh boy do I like these albums, the older screaming vocal music not so much but what these bands are doing now is amazing. Maybe its just my love if heavy heavy shoe gaze, starflyer has always been my favorite.

We were working on this song for like a year and a half, something like that at least, I made all the production aspects (audio engeeneering, mixing and master) and I would like some feedback on it

Its a heavy shoegaze inspired song, it was a turning point on the band to start writing shoegaze and stuff like that, I start using more pedals and screaming more, using more effects and ambience, but we wanted to release it on halloween so we waited more than a year to finally have it finished

please help me find this album, it might not be shoegaze i never listened to it, the cover is like a guy holding a weed and the background is like a sky and his hair is a bit blonde THE COVER IS RANDOM IM SORRY

Im in a pretty noisy shoegaze band with lyrics that are almost always completely drowned out at every show we play live. This isn’t the biggest deal as the vocals are ok with being near unintelligible but it does bother me when people come up and say “nice set but I didn’t hear anything you said”. We cant really yell the lyrics otherwise it’d sound like shit and we really don’t want to have to turn the amps down just to come through on vocals.

Does anyone struggle with the same issue and what is your work around it? We play at much smaller venues with not the greatest sound system so maybe that’s why?

Does anyone wanna buy my ticket for their show at a lower price? badly wanna go but I unfortunately had unexpected plans then 😭
